Cold cereal was a treat for Saturday mornings while watching cartoons on tv. (And we didn't get a tv until I was about 10 years old, lol) We lived in the country, ran barefoot and brown all summer long. I understand why she won, and she 100% deserved it. Because this show, despite the fact that there are many singers in it... it is America's got TALENT. And let's face it: there's better vocalists out there than her. But like, rather than just being able to SING: she's a whole package. She might not be the absolute best vocally, but she has this pivotal point to her that just draws people-- She's interesting, sweet, and ofcourse, a whole ball of creativity with those songs she can write. The fact that she's not dying away but only getting more popular after AGT unlike many other contestants is proof of the fact that she just has something special about her. She's undeniably unique.
When she was in agt competition, she just sing and stand still. It was so cute, and now shes jumping and really blooming so beautifully... She really shines and blooming and explodes.... I like the vibe she brings on the stage
This girl is literally helping me get over my depression rn. She puts so much meaning and I just sing her songs in my head when I'm depressed. Or when somebody bullies me, she is changing my life, and I couldn't be more grateful. Your opinion, but this is my opinion: this girl, literally helps my struggles everyday, with her amazing voice and lyrics.

Bottom line. Original, self written, self composed, self performed, and performed with feeling, charm, and genuine emotion. Criticize all you like, but this kid is without question amazing, supremely talented, and 100% deserving of her newfound attention, and far more. Just a whole ton of fun to watch her progress.

Grace is expanding her vocal range, growing more and more talented with each stage performance. Her vocals are showing a maturity and depth of soul, much greater than her age would imply. Her Fender Uke held its tune throughout her performance, a welcome change, and the instrument gave the tune a more honest and "folksy" feeling. I'm along for the ride and enjoying every moment. My aunt lives in New York. She works as a guidance counselor at an elementary school. And apparently she has a co-worker, whose son was/is one of Grace Vanderwaal's best friends! I understand why she won, and she 100% deserved it. Because this show, despite the fact that there are many singers in it... it is America's got TALENT. And let's face it: there's better vocalists out there than her. But like, rather than just being able to SING: she's a whole package. She might not be the absolute best vocally, but she has this pivotal point to her that just draws people-- She's interesting, sweet, and ofcourse, a whole ball of creativity with those songs she can write. The fact that she's not dying away but only getting more popular after AGT unlike many other contestants is proof of the fact that she just has something special about her. She's undeniably unique.

Her Fender Uke held its tune throughout her performance, a welcome change, and the instrument gave the tune a more honest and "folksy" feeling. I'm along for the ride and enjoying every moment.
