Everyone shit on James, Kirk, and specially Lars. But never have I ever seen someone ever complain or make fun of any of Metallica's bassists. All 3 of Metallica's bassists are loved and respected by both Metallica fans and the rest of the metal community.

@@Ryu_Ake I agree and disagree. I think Trujillo doesn't get the "recognition" he deserves. He's an amazing bassist, extremely talented. But he's not known for his work in Metallica, more or less his work in Suicidal Tendencies and Infectious Grooves. He is fairly respected, just not recognized among Metallica's bassists.

What I loved was that people started clapping during Cliff’s solo during the Roskilde Festival, it shows how much a bass/bassist can be loved

What I love is how absolutely beautiful Jason’s Solos can be. They make you feel something. In the beginning of his time with Metallica, his aggressive solos are hit and miss, almost like he’s trying to be Cliff. But every time he sits and plays it’s just soulful playing and really feels like him. Just a compliment to my favorite bassist. 🖤
