It is not often that I come across a young phenom at the highest level of sports that is so naturally likable as Jordan Walker. Even if I wasn't already a Cardinals fan, I would still be a Jordan Walker fan. I hope he is the same person all the time as what we see in videos like this because I want to root for him for many years!

I absolutely love seeing this. It's so cool to get the behind the scenes look and see the players interact with each other and to also see up close what the Cardinals Hall of Famers say to the players when going down the line shaking their hands. I hope to see more of these mic'd up videos.

He's going to do so good here he's going to be here for a very long time and pretty soon he's going to be must watch baseball.
    Today was no fluke.
Mason Winn and Jordan Walker are going to have a ton of games like this...
A game like today could start a 15 or 20 game streak.

That would day was so beautiful and promising and I would have never thought that we would be sitting here looking at 76 losses going into September..
It is what it is though if the Cardinals can win a boatload of games in September they can find their selves in the playoffs because we're still only 11 games out of that wild card.
I mean there's a hundred wild-card teams this year anybody can get it. Lol.
I honestly love the fact that there's 3 waldcards.

@@GatoSalvaje Ah yes, Mozeliak 'ruined' this team! By drafting a plethora of phenom prospects, building a stacked outfield with great defense, WORST OF ALL getting Arenado for basically free, and going out and signing consistently elite MVP Paul Goldschmidt. HOW TERRIBLE! lmao If you think for a second that Mozeliak isn't doing everything he can to provide LONG TERM SUCCESS for this team, you are seriously out-of-touch! (Which is obvious because you are silly enough to advocate for his firing.)
He made extremely shrewd and intelligent off-season decisions, EVERY 'big' pitcher signed in this off-season has some sort of injury, most of them near-season-ending. Not going after them turned out to be a blessing in disguise for the fans, but you need to understand that these people have MUCH much more information about players and their conditions/potential/etc. than we, the public, or even the media, do. There are literally DOZENS of much worse GMs that are currently employed in MLB, and nobody is perfect; everyone also has different visions for where the team is and needs to go. (Fans/players/GMs/Ownership/etc.)
As far as Oli Marmol, his biggest 'rookie' mistake has been treating the media as his friend, he needs to understand that they are there for a headline and drama they care little about the success of his team, or any team (that isn't backed by the same company as the media outlet). As soon as he learns that and learns that he has to control himself and keep these things internal. Marmol's immaturity is more visible, in my opinion, because there are SO MANY veteran managers across the league right now. So when he makes those mistakes it's more apparent. I thought the Cardinals should have signed Mike Sciocia, he seemed like the best fit for the squad.

    • @dooshkid

@@GatoSalvaje I was talking specifically about potential free agent signings, you're a bozo and your tone is wack. Dude has made some bad trades, yes I know about the Alcántara trade every one knows about that trade. There are other trade moves that I didn't like either like Arozarena; it was obvious he was a future superstar but (it seems as if) Mozeliak doesn't like black players. (Also look at the nonsense demotion of Jordan Walker and now moving Contreras to RF/LF.) Trading Arozarena and Adolis Garcia I think are equally large blunders to the Alcántara trade but you dont know what you're taking about so you don't mention those you just cite the most well-known trade blunder he's made. People can make mistakes and still be brilliant or even genius. Hell, Einstein and Oppenheimer made the nuke.. That's part of life. As previously stated, nobody is perfect, but to think that he isn't trying to play the best team he has is so, extremely, out-of-touch. I don't agree with MANY of his decisions but you don't even know 1/3 of what the GM knows on any given day. Nonetheless about his own team. ✌
P.S. This team is lost w/o Molina's bench management. And Marmol has a COMPLETE LACK of understanding bullpen management and how to put-together a lineup. So there's also that.. ✌
