    I was looking everywhere this video, I almost open everything 😂😂😂 you drained the coolant first?

    • @findfixxflip
      @findfixxflip  7 месяцев назад +1

      No the car had been overheating, my friend had ran all the coolant out, when the hose broke.. if the hose is already broke, i wouldnt drain it because it will save you some money saving some of it still in the system, then you can do a system top off and bleed and you aee good to go.. You could drain into clean bucket and reuse also, or just buy new coolant. Thanks for pointing that out for me 🙏

    Coolant hose busted from the same spot last night. Using this video RIGHT NOW to help bro thanks🙏🏽 Almost done I just need to find a mirror or something so i can get the clip off

      Damn, yeah its a pita, so my best advice is the get a long screwdriver and hook the end of the clip , dont try and get the top, if you get the end just pull up on it , it doesnt matter if it pops off, since you are replacing hose anyway, then comes the fun, carefully use a small handheld prybar and use the firewall as leverage to work the hose off. The only reason mine came off so easy is i had replaced it with a junkyard one maybe 1 year ago, i think i removed the intake that time for more room. New is definitely best way to go. Good luck may the force be with you. 🙏

      Awesome man, glad to hear it , the install goes much faster. Make sure to put oil on the o ring inside the hose, and it will help it pop super easy. Then its just the clip to lock, everything else is a breeze after. Make sure to bleed system properly after. Cheers

      No problem man, glad I could help. Especially with the part number. I would definitely go BMW OEM for this one though, i dont trust aftermarket when it comes to vital components such as these... I have some more E90-E92 CUSTOMIZATION Videos coming soon so stay tuned... thanks for watching 🙏

    I don't know how the hell you got that clip off. I couldn't get any access to it and I had to remove the manifold.

    • @findfixxflip
      @findfixxflip  6 месяцев назад

      So i pryed the clip from the bottom with the screwdriver.. the edge of the clip, then squeezed my hand in there, while using small pry bar to pop off the piece. This is definitely the hardest part of this job, and i had to censor quite a bit of profanity before it was finally out. The piece going back in was way easier. I had originally prepared to remove the manifold, but was pleasantly surprised it came off before.. Thanks for watching 🙏

      @@findfixxflip The ac line prevented me from getting my hand in there. Once I got the manifold off and was able to pry the clip off, it required so much force that I don't think I would have had enough leverage with the manifold on

      Cannot confirm or deny..🤣. In my defense the microphone definitely sounds like that whenever im really exerting alot like breaking a bolt. I had the same thing happen recently when i was lifting up the whole suspension for my truck. Knowing myself i probably did, and was waiting for someone to comment on it.🤣
