Fuel tank might be able to be cleaned a bit with a ton of distilled white vinegar and some clean rocks tossed in to shake around and break up the corrosion. The vinegar will eat the rust and the rocks will roll around and get any sediment and loose stuff up so you can get it out. A vinegar soak and a wire brushing could recondition the fuel sender if it's salvageable. For cleaning inside the tube you could use a gun barrel wire brush. If you want it just running and then swap the pump out later with something fancy like a Honda pump you can get by with TYC pumps. I swear by TYC fuel pumps, they are cheap as hell on Rockauto and I've never had a dud or a failure. My EK has run on a TYC since 2018 and my Accord has been running one since 2019. Hope this helps. I know stuff is getting harder to come by. (still watching the series commenting as I go.)

🙁 I wish it wasn't rusted. It says Honda on it so it'll probably stay there anyways 😂

Hey bro love the video and just a FYI we call the yellow paint marks a 10 point inspection to notify owner on either what should be replaced or to tell them its been gone threw and is still good but old hope that helps

I got it from the original owner and there's never been any major work done to it. So idk why anyone would be inspecting anything but hell yea, thanks. I've never had a car with this low of miles so I just guessed it was assembly marks lol

I found the same yellow markings on my Ef sedan I just picked up. Always wondered why they marked everything yellow lol. It’s like the Honda factory marked the torqued bolts

I'm trying my best to restore it to factory with as many oem Honda parts as possible. It's a fully optioned 1990 ex in a less common color with a super mint interior so definitely worth saving

I would recommend after you figure out it out to start I would do at least a rebuild head because way how gas is going up lol our little Hondas like your and mine will still be cheaper to drive 🚗😉

I'm still working on it, I just want it to be perfect and only use OEM Honda parts. They are expensive and hard to find so it'll take a long time for anything to happen
