To be honest, I can't believe it but I don't think they sound(!) worse than the Sony's in any way, in some ways even better. The ANC sure is almost nonexistent in comparison, and the transparency mode has too much noise to be left on continuously. That being said they do "work", so for around 10% of the Sony's (and most mainstream "pro" buds' value) these were an amazing purchase. I'd say these are an especially great backup for a wired iem for when you need the convenience. I also would like to add that these are WAY better sounding than most of the 100€ "budget" options I've tried from Jabra, Panasonic, JBL etc..

Did the a20i have ipx rating? I have them but I didn't know they have any water resistance lol. Kinda wished the moondrop was released before I got those tho, but very happy with the a20i, got them for 15 bucks when I did and with eq it is amazing
I don't see IPX rating for any of these. Sound quality-wise A20i are made more for "fun" listening, with a lot of kick on both low and high end. Moondrop is way more balanced and focused on detail retrieval that you just can't get with anything else in this price range.
How would you rank them to the QCY HT05? I'm currently deciding between both and like the Moondrop very much, but as I use public transportion very often and work in a busy office, I think good ANC and transparency mode is quite valuable to me. Further advantages for the HT05 seem to be the battery life as well as a better suited case for frequent pocket storage. I'm no real audiophile, but both are not in the typical hardcore V-shape segment with a more balanced sound, right? I watch furthermore a lot of youtube while on the train, are there noticable differences in latency (possibly without gaming mode) or voice representation? Thanks in advance, I really appreciate your opinion edit: Have you any experience with the Donner Dobuds One? They seem to be a very good value as well with a dual driver setup and a good all around packge. I can get them here for the same price as the HT05, which could be very interesting.
Hi and thanks for the comment! I think for the scenario you describe, overall I would pick the QCY HT05. Mainly because of the case setup - you are right. This innovative, unique Moondrop case looks awesome but it will be a dirt collector with frequent, daily use and transportation in pockets, bags, etc. Sound quality-wise I have to give an edge to Moondrop but they are not far from one another. The QCY HT05 are EXCELLENT! Moondrop is just SLIGHTLY more balance and it has that really flat curve that hard-core audiophiles will appreciate, especially great for classical music listening. I did not have a chance to listen to Donner Dobuds One but thanks for bringing them to my attention! I'll see if I can get them and review! Appreciated!
I bought one today. The left side can connect and touch works, but there is no sound and sometimes it works at a low volume. Is there anyone here who has faced the same problem or am I the only one?
Hmm... they're all quite different from one another so I feel like we need to narrow down the term "immersive and richer" to give the best answer because... attention to more detailed and accurate sound (Nekocake) can sound immersive and rich to some people, lots of bass and lots of treble with retracted mids (A20i) can sound immersive and rich to other people. Mini Pro HS is sort of the best blend of those two worlds BUT... I wouldn't pick it over the Nekocake for sound quality alone. I think that's the best answer I can give. Hope it helps!
I think Moondrop will have a slight edge in accuracy and detail retrieval. C3Pro will be far more flexible with its many presets and custom EQ. Moondrop basically has no tuning other than those three basic modes that just change the amount of bass. C3Pro will also win in ANC. So there’s your trade-off.
Hi, I've been deciding between the MoonDrop Space Travel and the Edifier X5 lite (for a bit more), Battery shouldn't be a huge issue since i mostly use 1 earbuds at a time, but I'm curios which is "Better" as i use it to listen to music and going to the gym. The IP 55 resistance on the Edifier does look appealing but I've seen the Space Travel being recommended everywhere.
Space Travel for me was such a disappointment. I mainly use tws earphones during my commute to school and I gotta say, while it's true Space Travel has really good audio quality, it is simply not loud enough to block off all the background noise like cars, talking people, etc.
@@aymanguro4282Yeah. Tbh my feeling is that the Space Travel is more a tws made for enjoying music at home or in a quiet environment like the library than for outside.
The Space Travel is really not a model to take for sport so yeah, the Edifier is much better for what you are looking for (even if you must have made the purchase since then). Also, nice Castoria pp.
When the case stopped charging it means it had low charge... lol... In all seriousness though.. no, there is no indicator of any kind (as far as I can tell) but the fully charged case will get you through the day. I would just connect it overnight so it recharges fully, no matter how much you have left. And if it is not enough for you then get a portable power bank like this one: amzn.to/3N38B3m
@@thepolishpotato42 oh thank you for the information, I found out that the light indicator will actually blink orange if the charging case battery is low
@@literalnoodles I saw in the manual about the indicator blinking orange but it wasn’t clear that it is when the charge is low. Good to know! Thank you!
The ST is wonderful but with the plethora of additional options, settings and an insanely good sound quality I would have to go with the Engine4 in this comparison!
If you’re an advanced audiophile you’ll enjoy this more. If you’re a casual listener who wants more features and flexibility - go with HT05 (sound quality is close, **almost** as good as the SpaceTravel).
@@Gelogi-h4m Yes, less focused on accuracy, detail retrieval and flatter frequency response and more on punchy sound with a lot of bass and treble (which seems to be what a lot of people prefer).
If you prefer more balanced, very accurate sound buy these. If you’d rather have a “fun to listen to” sound with more bass & treble and less mids buy the XRB5.
@thepolishpotato42 thank you! I don't think I'd hear the difference then. Anyway, I've just bought the Redmi Buds 5 and they are all right! Pozdrawiam i dziękuję za opinię!
Definitively not. The Moondrop Space Travel are very good for tws at less than $30 and can even be well placed against the top of what is available at ~$50 thanks to the audio quality (in exchange for an archaic app, limited battery and slightly low maximum audio volume) but they cannot claim to be close to the quality of a tws in the $70+ range. So, since the Liberty 4 NC are precisely among the best in the ~$100 range (and have one of the best ANC on the market even outside its category) the comparison does not exist. That being said, the Space Travel is a good backup tws if the Liberty runs out of battery or is not available because you forgot it or whatever.
@@ericosamwonyi829 overall in terms of sound quality, detail reproduction and frequency response *I* like them better but… I will not debate if someone had a different opinion. HT05 are VERY GOOD, i absolutely love them myself but they are quite different and if someone prefers them to the Moondrop I would completely understand. That’s why answering the “which are better” questions is sometimes quite difficult :)
Capsule 3 Pro: a lot more versatile e and feature rich (extensive spund profiles, custom equalizer, more “fun” to listen to). Moondrop focuses on pure accuracy and audiophile-tuned, detailed sound with more emphasis on the mids.
@@thepolishpotato42 wow very detailed response! I have the capsule 3 pro ($45 intro price) and everything else I've heard in the anc range can't compete, if I'm not needing anc I have much better IEMs so this is helpful
ok, after this comment I went and re-listened to some old songs on Spotify. While I feel like it's enough of a volume for me at about 90% I do see how this may become problematic for some people and especially with some older music that is just not up to the standard of today's codecs and possibilities. These days I test everything using Apple Music and Roon so most of the time I do not have to deal with poor quality of the recordings and with that I feel like there is no volume problem with the Moondrop Space Travel but... again, it depends. Are they not as loud as other earbuds out there? Correct, they are not. Also, it reminded me AGAIN how good they sound, overall! So thank you for making me go back to them! Haha
Not really. The ANC is a nice bonus for the price but cannot work miracles, they fit in the ear for walking but can fall out if you make sudden movements (for example running to catch your bus) and, most important for exercise: the Space Travel does not have an IPX rating so its survival if it rains or against excessive sweating is uncertain. In short, these are tws aimed at those wanting to appreciate good audio quality at a low price. Athletes have other models intended for them.
What’s most important to you? Just sound quality or do you care about other features? Moondrop is great but there is almost no EQ so you’re pretty stuck with the one sound signature. The case is awkward and gets dirty with time. Also, no ANC. If any of those features are important to you get the QCY, and the HT05, not HT07. HT05 has very similar ergonomics to Moondrop but they sound better than the HT07.
@@thepolishpotato42 I'd want the better anc But my main music profile is mids heavy, instrumentals, bass is not the top priority. And I'd be mostly using it for calls
@@n1njademon316 ok then with this information definitely get the Moondrop. You will like it much better for music and it’s good enough for phone calls!

long tap/press on the stem of the left earbud cycles through the modes. When you hear the voice in the earbuds say something like "shhhheeee....." you're in ANC mode (quirky... I KNOW).
I wouldn’t go that far with the comparisons. ST sound great but they aren’t going to match the AZ60/80. The bass is nice and well rounded but it’s not crazy boosted.

@@thepolishpotato42 I had the same doubt, thanks for the careful reply! Helped me also.
I actually have the Donner and they are nowhere near HT05 nor Moondrop in sound quality. They look good on paper but the sound is just not there.
@@thiagofrsilva glad to hear that, thank you for the comment!!
They play better than a lot more expensive Soundcore space a40. For me, this is the music discovery of this year. Jesteś z Polski?
I agree, way more accurate than the A40i. Zgadza się. Witam i pozdrawiam!
very informative! thanks!
I wonder will these fall off the case when flipped upside down or is there some sort of a magnet attaching them to the case?
There’a a magnet and they will not fall unless you shake it really hard.
if i have to choose between moondrop space travel and moondrop nekocake, which one i should buy?
I love the Nekocake but Space Travel is a very nice evolution of that design so definitely Space Travel.
I bought one today. The left side can connect and touch works, but there is no sound and sometimes it works at a low volume. Is there anyone here who has faced the same problem or am I the only one?
I dont have tht problem with mine
What size hole on sonicfoams? S1 or S2?
Thanks for the review. Just ordered them today. Can't wait. Will be replacing my Fiil T1 Lite
MoonDrop NekoCake new black edition vs
Soundcore A20i vs
Soundpeats Mini Pro Hs
Which one sounds more Immersive & richer ?
Hmm... they're all quite different from one another so I feel like we need to narrow down the term "immersive and richer" to give the best answer because... attention to more detailed and accurate sound (Nekocake) can sound immersive and rich to some people, lots of bass and lots of treble with retracted mids (A20i) can sound immersive and rich to other people. Mini Pro HS is sort of the best blend of those two worlds BUT... I wouldn't pick it over the Nekocake for sound quality alone. I think that's the best answer I can give. Hope it helps!
Yeah, it helped a lot. I got my answer. Thanks Man i appreciate your Work 👌
Is this good for phone calls?
Like, the other person you're speaking with can hear better other than the background noise??
Watch the video at 14:35. That's exactly what I am testing in real life conditions.
What do you think this compared to soundpeat capsule 3 pro? Sound quality and ANC wise
I think Moondrop will have a slight edge in accuracy and detail retrieval. C3Pro will be far more flexible with its many presets and custom EQ. Moondrop basically has no tuning other than those three basic modes that just change the amount of bass. C3Pro will also win in ANC. So there’s your trade-off.
good review and for that reason i subscribe 👍😂
The sonic foam SF2's fit these? Seems like it's meant to fit a different size. Can you confirm ?
I'm using the SF0
Are they Better then the sparks my pair for the moon drop sparks just went bad and was looking for some new pair and saw these
Bro I bought one
It's really good for gaming
Also for making call
And sound quality is good
But sound volume not high enough unfortunately
@@Gonzora I just really wished I knew that info before buying. Everyone also was hyping it like the best tws earphone for its price.
Better than iems in this price budget?
Hmm… I probably wouldn’t go that far… but certainly better than mostly all of TWEs in that budget.
which one to pick from QCY HT05 or Moondrop Travel space?
If you want more accurate and very detailed sound pick Moondrop. If you want more features and flexibility go for QCY HT05.
How do I know if the case is low battery and need charge, is there any indicator?
@thepolishpotato42 do you have any information 😢
Thank you!
what phone do you use this with? if you use this with MIUI, it's low. low volume. and it doesn't perform like thw review says.
iPhone 13 pro.
@@thepolishpotato42 that figures. when using MIUI, the loudness is not acceptable until you reach 100%, all reviews says this is loud. not in my case
@@rockyboi2374 sorry to hear that. I actually did see a few people here comment these were not loud enough for them.
do you recommended this earphone for activity outdoor like jogging and so on?
not for jogging, dont use when youre sweating or raining
Not for someone like me who likes it louder. It's not loud at all even with ANC. Can easily hear surrounding cars on my commute to school.
how the moondrop space travel compared to soundpeats engine 4? it has similar price in my area.
The ST is wonderful but with the plethora of additional options, settings and an insanely good sound quality I would have to go with the Engine4 in this comparison!
The price on these blew me away
I saw fhis but bought baseus ma10 did a review they say baseus is bett luckly i bought it when it has promo and the price cheaper then space travel
Hi sir is this better than HT07 by QCY? in term of sound quality?
Yes.
@@thepolishpotato42 Thank you
Which size of sonicfoam fits with moondrop spacetravel
The SF0
Which sonicfoam fit to the buds? SF1 or SF2?
I actually use the SF0 and it fits perfectly!
Can I go for kz foam eartips for saving bucks over sonic foam
What size of sonicfoam did you use?
The SF0 Medium
Which do you prefer this or qcy hto5?
If you’re an advanced audiophile you’ll enjoy this more. If you’re a casual listener who wants more features and flexibility - go with HT05 (sound quality is close, **almost** as good as the SpaceTravel).
Moon drop or A20i ?
Moondrop if you want more accurate sound rendition. A20i if you want more “fun” sound profile and more options.
Thx u for the info keep it up ☺️ 👍 ❤@@thepolishpotato42
@@thepolishpotato42 what is "fun" sound??, is it more into bass?,treble?,mid?
@@Gelogi-h4m Yes, less focused on accuracy, detail retrieval and flatter frequency response and more on punchy sound with a lot of bass and treble (which seems to be what a lot of people prefer).
What size tips did you get for these? EZ Sub!!!!
The SF0 Medium. Thank you!
Should I buy them or the Xiaomi Redmi Buds 5?
If you prefer more balanced, very accurate sound buy these. If you’d rather have a “fun to listen to” sound with more bass & treble and less mids buy the XRB5.
@thepolishpotato42 thank you! I don't think I'd hear the difference then. Anyway, I've just bought the Redmi Buds 5 and they are all right! Pozdrawiam i dziękuję za opinię!
The only thing I dislike about the MST is that the max volume is too low for me.
Your ears will probably thank you later on. 😁
@@Cyba_IT or not
Can you compare these to the xiaomi 5 buds (-46 db anc)
I'd like to get a comparison as well!
Already have the soundcore Liberty 4 nc are they any better
The audio is not cheap but the Shell is hella cheap and disposable by a drop or sweat getting inside the system it will break
Ugh, sorry to hear that!
which one better, qcy ht05 or space travel?
Better in what regard? Strictly sound quality? Moondrop.
Hey @@thepolishpotato42 did you say they're better, just because they have a flatter curve?
@@ericosamwonyi829 overall in terms of sound quality, detail reproduction and frequency response *I* like them better but… I will not debate if someone had a different opinion. HT05 are VERY GOOD, i absolutely love them myself but they are quite different and if someone prefers them to the Moondrop I would completely understand. That’s why answering the “which are better” questions is sometimes quite difficult :)
@@thepolishpotato42 thanks for the quick response.
The sound is the best yet the volume is not that strong
Was hoping for a compare against Capsule 3 Pro
Capsule 3 Pro: a lot more versatile e and feature rich (extensive spund profiles, custom equalizer, more “fun” to listen to). Moondrop focuses on pure accuracy and audiophile-tuned, detailed sound with more emphasis on the mids.
@@thepolishpotato42 wow very detailed response! I have the capsule 3 pro ($45 intro price) and everything else I've heard in the anc range can't compete, if I'm not needing anc I have much better IEMs so this is helpful
What about the low maximum volume?
ok, after this comment I went and re-listened to some old songs on Spotify.
Haha
@machinewaves same comment, see my reply pls
Is the mic good when I call someone ?

@@thepolishpotato42
Thanks 🙏
Is this good for working out?
Sad it doesn't have volume control.
What size sonic foams fitted
The SF1
These or the Earfun air 2?
Definitely these.
Should i get the moondrops or ht07? Can someone help me
What’s most important to you? Just sound quality or do you care about other features? Moondrop is great but there is almost no EQ so you’re pretty stuck with the one sound signature. The case is awkward and gets dirty with time. Also, no ANC. If any of those features are important to you get the QCY, and the HT05, not HT07. HT05 has very similar ergonomics to Moondrop but they sound better than the HT07.
@@thepolishpotato42 I'd want the better anc
But my main music profile is mids heavy, instrumentals, bass is not the top priority. And I'd be mostly using it for calls
@@n1njademon316 ok then with this information definitely get the Moondrop. You will like it much better for music and it’s good enough for phone calls!

SF0 2 model correct?

long tap/press on the stem of the left earbud cycles through the modes. When you hear the voice in the earbuds say something like "shhhheeee....." you're in ANC mode (quirky... I KNOW).
@@thepolishpotato42Thanks👍 , I really thought mine was defective 😂
Does it sound as good as the technics Az60 or 80s series also does ot have the bass the oneplus buds 2 pro has ?
I wouldn’t go that far with the comparisons. ST sound great but they aren’t going to match the AZ60/80. The bass is nice and well rounded but it’s not crazy boosted.
There is a lack of vloggers here not saying that this suck at detecting footsteps I was hoping this will be a good alternative to my airpods for playing apex legends imaging sucks
