This saw ruclips.net/user/postUgkx84IcU5pbZd1Qrz8u4-YRLmJax7kdRi7B comes in handy in many ways. When I had a small (dead) tree fall I started the process of disposal by using this saw and cutting off the small branches. Then slowly work on the small trunk with undercutting and letting it fall down. With many trees on acres of land paying for a tree service can be expensive. It also is nice in that it can be used in hard to get areas like along my creek. It's also safer and quieter than a chainsaw. It obviously can't cut down massive trees but it does work fine for small ones or brush. And of course since I already own a Black
Hey Dusty, I love your channel it makes woodworking look very simple... :) Festool tools are extremely good quality and so smart but man they are so so expensive...
Yes, woodworking can be very expensive hobby. If you are not making money from it you can as well make a cut with $10 handsaw...If you have clients paying for quality of work then yes Festool is the way to go...
This was my first tool into the Festool ecosystem. A couple thousand dollars later, I still enjoy using it, albeit my TSC55 gets more use since a proper plunge saw is more versatile for most of my work. But the HKC55, while slightly underpowered compared to worm-drive saws with bigger batteries, combines the accuracy factor(while being one handed with the FSK rails, not the regular FS rails), so allowing you to use your other hand to steady the work piece, if necessary. Mafell has a nearly identical saw, albeit here in North America we don't see much Mafell equipment, compared to Europe 😕
I’m thinking of buying this but all my festool stuff is 110v power just wondering how the battery is how long would you get outta a full charge 18v 5ah battery
Nice review Dusty, I have the HKC55 too and one little thing you forgot to mention is it's ability to plunge cut by pressing the black button on the top near the depth guage. For me this is a major selling point of the saw as it makes it a circular saw and plunge saw all in one package.
im a big fan you get all the fancy tools and use them very well and are very didicated to your career, he could sell the same tool 3 or 4 times to the same customer without breaking a sweat

Dude!!!! Ya got me... I think I must have the saw
It’s pretty awesome!
Sir! You are a national treasure! A total badass!
Clever design.
if that saw weren't $800 I'd consider buying one.
More of a showcase than a review but great video
Brasil ainda não temos esses equipamentos.
Mantap sangat bermanfaat sekali
Идеал. 👍👌👏✊🤜🤛💪🤝
Ooooh $700 A serious saw. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Does festool sponsor you? (They should if not😆)
Dusty
A thought:
Start a project of some kind and use a whole hour on it
For a small payment of $1,500 dollars this could be yours 😂
$700. Not bad for contracting work. Can see it being very useful and saving a lot of time
Very Cool 😎
👍👍😁
I have the saw, and it's honestly under powered. It does work well for most stuff under 1" but bogs cutting 2by stock.
Esas herramientas no llegan a chile

First time seeing you talking haha
Now that's the way a review should be. Show me the features - edited to bare bones. Nicely done.
Thank you 🙏

One day, perhaps.
I gotta get a whole lot better before investing in Festool.
Then, I'll probably be sorry I didn't before.
Very good machine👍👍
I'm sure I won't be the first to say this but I'm a makita fan, but this... this is fucken awesome.
This is the best saw for cutting stair treads and risers the little dust bag works great quick and easy.

I've had that saw for years and I love it. A little weak, but very handy. Siding, decking, interior shelving etc ..
