That was great shooting. You dont take chaces with buffalo. If you don't drop them right away it can take days to finde it. They can survive a lot of damage. No matter how well the first shot was placed!!
Your movie with open sight hunter are perfect.... This is a real hunt and real hunter! Btw what kind of watch Henrikk Lott have on this movie? I'm waiting for your new production....
Excellent piece. This should show non- hunters how hunting is much more than getting a kill. Its about learning the land and the species that live there. Gaining a large respect for different habitats. Above all else singling out a clean humane kill. Respecting the animals life.
i'm impressed it took five shots to get the bull down, this is very tuff animal. i'm curious about the calibers and the shot placement ? great video, thanks, had great time watching it.
The client is using a 375 H&H, the guide I'm guessing a .416 Rigby or something like that. I shoot Asian Buffalo in North Australia and once it took 8-9 shots from a 308 to drop it. They can be tough cookies!!
@@zajagter2888 In many countries the legal minimum caliber for dangerous game or Big 5 is 375 H&H Magnum. In a few countries mostly former German or Dutch colonies they will accept the 9,3×62 or 9,3×74. Which ia basically a .36 caliber
@@zajagter2888 in Australia Asian buffaloes are a pest species and there is no minimum calibre required, although the 308 is under gunned. I have upgraded to a 375 Ruger and it does make a hell of a difference ( to my wallet and shoulder as well 😀)
Agreed. I hate when those prancing fools like Kendall Jones give us a bad name. People like her don't respect The Animals they kill, instead doing those king of the world poses.
Burmese name:)...Tin,yes their faces are a bit different, colour, and bit smaller in comparison to "Cape Buffalo"..but they are buffalo, dangerous animal when wounded, hope this helps, greetings from Cape Town
Tolle Aufnahmen.
@@sticc3978 It's a hunting video. America had no African colonies. Also, America has no cultural connection with Mauser repeaters. I am Portuguese. The video is set in Mozambique, in the former Portuguese East Africa. I do suppose that the point of the video is the marketing of the Mauser M98 Magnum to a wide RUclips audience. There is, however, a German language version of this video on RUclips (Abenteuer Mosambik - Büffeljagd mit der neuen Mauser M 98 Magnum).

Whoever edited this video did a wonderful job. The narrators voice and background music is very classy and not overbearing like often seen.
Thank you Jesse!
Yes its well done for sure
Excellent video and atmosphere. This man embodies what it means to be a true hunter.
Fantastische Aufnahmen und absolut ethische Jagd, Weidmannsheil! Danke Henrik, weiter so!
Great video
Loving 11:15 when the hole after the shot was shown :) A perfect work and a beautiful video.

Fantastic informative hunting video, thank you for sharing your experience.
Of all the animals not in Europe, the African buffalo is something I’ve always wanted to eat
Muy buena caceria!!! Felicitaciones por aprovechar la carne !!! .375 H&H el mejor. From Uruguay
What type of bullet was used in the 375?
Thank you for the video.
Love it take me too and I will be the happiest man ever alive on this planet
Welcome to my part of the world. West Africa.
Really wouldn't want to live in the populated areas there
A lot of hungry people benefited from this hunt.
Well done!

Excellent. Like.
Those burgers look delicious
Not impressed by the hunter and his judgement on safe followup shots, close call with his PH infront of him.
Loads of room...
my thoughts exactly .
Stuff happens, our old reserve's PH was almost shot in the foot by a client on a lion hunt
That poor PH was in front and I hope he had some type of hearing plugs in.
What a great hunt .

if only all hunters had your mentality

With that being said, all of us hunters should follow this mans suit and practice his mentality and hunting methods.
I don't like this. I love it. It is reat to see how you hunt and love nature.

9,3x74R... One of my favourite calibres. What rifle/calibre used his PH ? Thanks in advance.
they look like south east asian water buffalo (carabao). I think it can be domesticated.
Carabaos can be domisticated, but African Buffalos are far to wild for that.
Why is the narration in North American English? Shouldn't this be narrated in German?
Frag dich mal, wo es mehr gun owners gibt...im deutschsprachigen oder englischsprachigen Raum?

The plural of Buffalo is also, Buffalo... Please proof read your titles, you appear illiterate to the world when you post on a public forum.
Stop hunting save wild life.
i don't think buffalo meat is venison.
Although Americans think of only deer as venison, it actually mean all wild game meat.
Na minha terra angola esses animais são conhecidos como pacaças muito perigoso
