@@jordanash do the rgb lights turn off when the computer is off? i ask because other corsair mouse pads stay on even if pc is off and it is pretty annoying especially at night.
5:46 To me it is definitely a hotspot in the corner and it looks exactly like it does on your camera. Everywhere else it doesn't get as bright as top right corner. Idk if i got a broken one!?
Hmmm, that's odd. Maybe it got damaged somehow and it's not giving power as much as it should. Maybe email Corsair about it, because it certainly doesn't sound right
@@d3335 Corsair is most likely very cooperative with their support.. I have the macro mouse and sent it back 3 TIMES because the scroll wheel stopped.. 2 days later, free new mouse in house ;).
Sweet review Jordan! I've been waiting for YEARS that Corsair made an extended RGB mousepad... And they finally done it... My only issue is... why don't they offer it in different colors? Razer Goliathus Extended got the Mercury (White/Greyish) so why not a White/Gray for Corsair too? Maybe later? Anyhoo... this pad seem very practical with its hub. Is your pad still having the waves or is now correctly flat on desk?
Thanks man! They might later in the year, but I'd say they'd make it in black first as that would best contrast the colour from the lighting. I've kept another pad on my desk, but this one did flatten out okay as I left it on the video table for a while after making the video.
I'm so happy they're coming out with one of these big ones ... trouble is - it might be a little *too* big for me xD. I have a USB Hub in my desk top at 38.5cm depth, so it would overlap it by about 1.5cm. -_- How annoying is that?
Does this have some sort of protection when it comes to liquids? I've the ROG Scabbard II right now and thinking about switching to this one but since I am eating quite often on my desk I need to know if this one has a protection layer on the top like the Scabbard II has.
@@NathanAnStuff I ended up buying the square version and the pad was worn out within a month. It now has a smooth (grabby) spot in the middle, honestly I'm not buying another corsair hard mouse pad
Great Video! The new style with the Darker yellow really reminds me of Cyberpunk 2077, especially when they did the promotional collaboration with Razer in Oct 2020.
I would recommend putting anything directly on the lighting edge, but on the material would be fine. It will be fairly strong but like anything will have it's limits.
@@jordanash Been having some troubles with the MM700 starting up with iCUE. All my other peripherals start-up after off/sleep mode but I have to unplug and replug in the MM700. Wondering if you are having a similar issue?
@@jordanash oh ok that helps. Thanks for correcting yourself. By the way when they say the sizes for these pads do they measure them from corner to corner or width ?
I dont get why you would buy this instead of an off-brand version on Amazon. This thing is $60! Thats way too much for a piece of cloth. I bought one for $15 and the material is the same, even the light tube is stitched in the same way, the anti-slip material looks and feels the same way and I can cycle trough all the colors on a touch dial. All without the ugly corsair logo in the bottom left. Only difference is that I cant use iCue, but I dont need that because I can just choose the color I want. Normally I buy branded products, but this is way overpriced and definitely not worth it.
You could say the same thing about any company, why do people buy all Apple products? If you like an ecosystem then you might like keeping things all the same. Don't forget though, you don't have to buy it ;)
@@jordanash It isnt a critique on your review, you did great! And I’m not trying to be sour here. I’m just struggling to understand what I’m missing here. Most of the time when I buy branded instead of off-brand I get way better quality. Here in Holland we say: cheap is expensive (because cheap products fail more often and are worse quality). And I mostly go for the good stuff. This time though, I don’t see whats different. So if there is something about this what I’m overlooking I genuinely would like to know. Is it just iCue compatibility?
No, I didn't take it as that :) Maybe you get better quality for cheaper in Holland, as it's certainly not the same over here. Yeah, I think just iCue, I might be wrong though.
Just seen this on their website, definitely something I'm getting, it's exactly what I've been looking for!
Awesome, enjoy!

I have all corsair controlled pc and keyboard and mouse so I need this 😂

I said in the video it's because it's just been released. I had the same thing happen with the K60
Thanks for the review mate!
Can you tell which is brighter? MM700 or SteelSeries QcK Prism?
Thanks!
No worries! I'm not sure on your question though, I've not used the SteelSeries.

Awesome!
Where did you preorder? I’ve been looking for a week now and have had no luck :(
I imagine this isn't machine washable and I see that being a problem for the product long term. Any input?
Yeah, definitely not machine washable. To be honest, most mousepads can be cleaned with antibac wipes, that's what I've found to work well.
can you cut holes in this to run keyboard/mouse wires under desk without damaging the RGB?
You could yeah, just don't cut the strip around the edge and you'll be fine.
hey, does it charge your wireless mouse from corsair aswell?
This doesn't have that unfortunately.
Probably a stupid question but Can I plug this into any usb slot or does it have to go into a pc
Yeah I think it'll work, don't see why not.
