Thanks for posting this video. I'll be on this ship next year, because of the itinerary rather than the ship itself. I must admit the decor isn't my cup of tea at all. The buffet looks really poky with the low and dark blue ceiling and the atrium looks like a Vegas casino... Not quite the Cunard vibes. The bars seem more welcoming and spacious. The food in the main dining room didn't look especially refined. I am surprised they used stainless steel dishes for the sauces. What was served in the steakhouse looks miles better. Was it dear? Glad you had a good holiday. Able to spend quality time with loved ones outweighs any decor short comings.
Thanks for watching and commenting. The decor was definitely my least favourite of all ships I’ve been on, but as you had mentioned, we picked the itinerary and not the ship. We were in Europe and we were barely on the ship so I can’t complain 😆 The steakhouse was a nice treat, but very rich! Have a fantastic trip. Where are you headed?
@@TravellingKareena I'm doing a week to Mexico from Tempa in Feb 2024. It's just a short cruise so not many ports. A way off yet, but I am looking forward to it. I've not been before. It'll also be my first fly-cruise, so will have to pack wisely. So far, sailing from Southampton, we have been able to take loads of bags and just drive to the terminal. A mere 23kg suitcase in an aeroplane is not very much in comparison.
