Most ports are shopping unless you take an excursion. I happen to like walking and exploring the immediate area.

You can use the RideRTC app for the Deuce bus schedule and tickets.

If I had to pick between those two, I would choose Sol because it was quieter, but you are going at Christmas so it may not be the case then. Keep in mind that Sol is an older resort than the Sirenis. It’s really about personal preference. In cayo coco I did a taxi tour to Moron. I have a separate video for that excursion if you are interested.

Yes, I have had experience with sand fleas. Sometimes they are bad, sometimes they don’t bother me. Go prepared.

There is a market for souvenir shopping - you can take the hop on hop off bus for that. There are tours for fishing Or catamaran - I haven’t done any of these. Or you can hire a taxi and visit Moron (where the Cubans live) and other places (crocodile farm) - I have a video on that if you’d like to get an idea of what’s included.

Everyone has their own experiences, but I definitely didn’t find anything to be terrible. The beach right at the cruise port is free but gets really crowded. This excursion was less crowded but there is a cost. Depends on your needs. Have you been to Mahogany Bay before?

This will be my first time visiting this port. I was so undecided about this excursion. Watching your video helped me make my decision to book this excursion. 🙏🏿

All resorts are facing shortages but they do great with what they have. And mosquitos are hit and miss. Sometimes I don’t see any, and sometimes they are extremely bad. Bring repellent.

That is a good question. Unfortunately, I do not know the answer. I remember there being a ramp to enter the shopping building so that wouldn’t be an issue, but I also don’t think the shuttle had the ability to carry a scooter. I’d like to think they have another option, but I don’t know for sure. Sorry that I can’t help more.

I really enjoyed Sol Cayo Coco when I visited friends for the day. My home is Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo - I’ve been many times and keep going back because I have family there now. And I really enjoyed my short visit at One Gallery in Cayo Santa Maria. All have wonderful beaches and staff. All have issues with supplies but they make it work and do whatever they can to ensure you have a good time. And I have videos for all 3 of these properties.

I visited this resort for a day so I can’t give a full review, but like all resorts in Cuba right now, they are experiencing shortages (meaning that there isn’t a wide variety of food - expect to eat generally the same things every day). Go with an open mind and enjoy the sunshine and beach.

Extended balcony is the best! I liked it so much that I went home and booked it again on the Mardi Gras. Enjoy 😊
