നാഗ്പ്പൂർ ജനിച്ചുവളർന്ന മലയാളിയായ ജോയൽ ജോസഫ് ഒരു സോഷ്യൽ മീഡിയ ഇൻഫ്ളുവന്സറാണ്. കേരളത്തിന് പുറത്ത് വളർന്നതുകൊണ്ടുതന്നെ മലയാളികളെ ജോയൽ കണ്ടിരുന്നത് മറ്റൊരു തരത്തിലായിരുന്നു. എന്നാൽ വലുതാകുന്നതിനൊപ്പം നാട്ടിൽ നിൽക്കുവാനുള്ള സാഹചര്യങ്ങൾ ജോയലിനു വന്നുചേരുകയും നാടിനോടും മലയാളത്തിനോടും ഉള്ള മനോഭാവം തന്നെ മാറുകയും ചെയ്തു. എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗ് നാല് കൊല്ലം പഠിച്ചതിന് ശേഷം ഒരു കാര്യം ജോയലിന് മനസ്സിലായിരുന്നു, ജീവിതത്തിൽ ഒരു എഞ്ചിനീയർ ആകരുതെന്ന്. പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് ജീവിതത്തിൽ ലക്ഷ്യമില്ലാതിരുന്ന സമയത്തെ തീരുമാനങ്ങളും, വീട്ടിലും നാട്ടിലും നിന്നുള്ള വിമർശനങ്ങളും ജോയലിനെ തളർത്തി. എന്നാൽ അങ്ങനെയുള്ള സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ നിന്ന് മലയാളികൾ രണ്ട് കൈയും നീട്ടി സ്വീകരിച്ച ഒരു കോൺടെന്റ് ക്രിയേറ്റർ ആകാൻ എങ്ങനെ ജോയലിന് കഴിഞ്ഞു? അതിനെപ്പറ്റിയാണ് ജോഷ് Talks-ന്റെ ഇന്നത്തെ എപ്പിസോഡിൽ ജോയൽ നമ്മളോട് പറയുന്നത്.
