480 whp is closer to 560 bhp. And for those that hate JB4s, many supras have definitely dynoed 470-490 whp already with a JB4 DP E40-E50 custom map already. OTS maps are VERY safe and will only get around 430-450 whp with the same mods. There are videos of JB4 DP E40 supras running low 11s at 124-127 mph.
@@whitemtl370 not me but I've seen it done. People have made 550+ with pure 800 and JB4. Jesse DaBears has done it for others. I'm going pure 800 soon but with a tune.
Nice video bro love your build, I also have a white supra tuned by Jesse with the jb4. On e30 my car put down 484whp and 535lbs ft. On the dyno. I think next I will get my ecu unlocked so I can run a pure turbo
Thanks man! I’d love to get mine unlocked too, but I can’t justify the expensive price to get it shipped off right now. But good for you bro! Pure 800 definitely moves this car up into a whole other level
Both wrong. 500 crank would mean 420-430 whp. JB4s can make 460-480 whp with a DP and custom E30 map by Jesse. It can also make 470-490 whp with an E50 map. Many JB4 set ups have ran 124-127 mph 1/4 traps too. Yes, for the most part, a tune will get 500-520 whp with the same mods which is better. I've used both the JB4 and AMS tune to compare. And a tune is always better, but the JB4 does really well as long as you have a good custom map instead of OTS.
Yeah, I’m over 500 crank. I just say 500 to keep it simple 😂 I am 480whp. I would love to get ecutek but am not about to spend thousands just to ship off my DME for a clone. Hopefully someone cracks it soon🤞🏼
@@ActNasty5 I felt like the real answer was 560-570 crank. Since it's a rwd, 470-480 rwhp puts him up much higher than 500 bhp. For a 3400 lb car, that's pretty good on a JB4. I know the AMS tune does better though of course, such as 500-520 whp at 600 crank or so. I was just saying that 500 crank would mean he's running near 420 whp which is very low for a DP JB4 on E30. That's all :(
Dumb question on my end but is the intake that's making the nice supercharged hiss? I own a 2020 premium GR btw. Thanks in advance buddy. Stay safe out there👊🏼
Also, if yours is a 2020, I wouldn’t suggest getting a JB4. You can get bench unlocked easily and get ECUTEC which is much more ideal and would get better power 💪🏼
@@huhhh8863 $450 for both. If you want to run E, I definitely would recommend it. If you plan to just stick with 93, it’s up in the air. I know people run into issues when running map 3, so I’d stay off of that. With map 2, it still feels much better than stock, but not as good as a custom 93 tune. If you get a JB4, just run it in map 2 and see how you like it. Then when you’re ready for more, get a custom tune from Jesse

@the_vet1157 how much would a jb4 with jsut an intake and catback exhaust (no DP) make at the wheels roughly?
@@shaunrizzolo6175 with an OTS map? 400ish on 93.
Add a dp and custom map from Jesse - 440-450ish on 93

Put a single exit tomei on that bad boy. Did it with mine and wooo 😮💨 sounds a little like a 2JZ now haha
Awesome video but you 500 crank not to the ground with that jb4. Once you have ecutek or get it unlock bm3 with e50 e55 blend then yes sir💪🏽
Facts i made 530 wheel on e50 with ecutek

Yep! The air hiss noise is from the intake. However, I didn’t get the turbo whistle noise till I got a downpipe.
@toleratetate can you give me the specs on what you put in your Supra?(like the brand names) Thanks for getting back to me buddy.

Carless and E?
Where is the wing from
Don’t feel bad, my S on the back emblem broke also. 😢
Twin !!
What ethanol setup are you using?
So if u buy a jb4 for $500 u have to buy his custom map for another $500? Or how does that work
JB4 does come with off the shelf tunes… but they are not super efficient or reliable. I got a custom tune to be on the safer side and get more power
Please rev your supra after it has been warmed up, after you see four bars for the temperature gauge
So you recommend getting the hr springs if im dailying my supra?
Yeah I think the H&R springs are the best for dailying. Good stance with keeping decent clearance
are you running 93 octane? what map on jb4?
I have two customs tunes, one for 93 and on for E30. I’m always in map 6 (custom tuning map)
@@toleratetate how much did you pay for each custom tune? is it worth it?

Why the check engine light?
I have a catless downpipe and unfortunately you can’t code it out with the JB4 😕
JB4 can’t shut off the secondary oxygen sensor? That doesn’t sound like it can do much for tuning.
@@verginserginwell, JB4 is not an actual tune. It can’t change anything on the ECU. It’s just there to trick it.
Where’s the 2jz
