- Here's my grocery haul for April! I really kept things simple here and did a lot of grocery shopping for meal prep. I'm always curious about what's on your list too! I spent $172.85 for these groceries.

All opinions are 100% my own and I would never recommend a product I didn't 100% love. Products may be given to me for free as press samples, and although they do not influence my opinion, I will always let y'all know what was free and what I purchased with my own money.
Kindness always wins. It takes very little to be a kind human being. 👋🏾. LOVE YOU & Thanks for watching! ❤️ 💛 💙 💜

Sigh. I sure wish I enjoyed cooking!
I feel this so hard. 😂
You could start small! Like baking boxed brownies or something. Over time you could try to make them from scratch and see how you like it. :) I mean, technically popping a bowl of oatmeal into the microwave is cooking, so 😂
I feel like people don’t always need recipes, but people need ideas. Whether you’re trying to lose weight with no other health issues or if you have diabetes, celiacs, IBS, gout, you name it, everyone just needs ideas. Not to mention how some foods just taste better to certain people than others. 😊
Hear hear. There actually very few recipes that I can follow without them not failing, too. Many recipes don't account for different elevations or climates and humidity levels, all which determine how much liquid to add or how to long to cook for. I collect as many cookbooks as I can find, but rarely do I actually follow them. I also can't get many ingredients so I end up substituting a lot.
@@homesteadgamer1257 Nice. Today, for the first time, I cooked pan seared scallops topped with tomato salsa with a side of sautéed spinach with feta and bucatini. I didn’t have a recipe, but I did have a personal love of seafood, a goal of getting more fiber into my diet, and google searches for “what goes well with scallops” and “how to sautée spinach” and “vegetable fiber count.” Lol
@@laurenconrad1799 Oh man that sounds SO good though!!!
@@homesteadgamer1257 thanks. It was. 😊
I was just diagnosed with PCOS last week after fighting doctors for over a year. I feel lost in terms of nutrition and your videos have been so helpful in navigating this new lifestyle I’ll have to live. Thank you!!
Fat Fiber & Protein!! Yes thank you for the reminder
Mastering diabetes youtube will help you . They are the best !
Thank you so much for doing this! This gave me such great grocery ideas. I'm struggling with being type 2 diabetes and trying to figure out what to eat . Growing up my mom fed me a bad diet and I'm having such a hard time getting away from that diet as an adult but I have to make changes because my blood sugar is out of whack. Please keep making these grocery hauls, it is so helpful ❤
Thank you so much for saying this! I didn’t know if it would be helpful, so I’m glad it helped stir up some ideas 💕
I love HEB!! Can't wait to see your recipes for people and Noodle!!!
I can’t wait for you guys to meet Noodle! 💕 and see these new recipes!
Would love to see your peanut butter video
I love your bracelet.
Thank you! My mom passed away last year and it's her's! I added a medical alert diabetes charm to it so I could move the charm from bracelet to bracelet.
Great haul! I got some good takeaways from it. Also, I love the music playing in the background. Can you tell me the name of the song?
Thanks 🥰🥰🥰
Thanks for watching!
How do you counter the acidity of the green bananas? Every time I eat one that's even slightly green, it eats at my tongue just like pineapple and kiwi and tomatoes do. I've heard of banana flour, and I want to say that is made from green bananas (I could be wrong). Sometimes it's nice to just slice a banana over breakfast, but not when it eats away at my tongue.
Hi I love your channel I start me insulin next week feeling so nervous about it I don’t have a full pancreas and metformin isn’t working any more my biggest fear is putting on weight it hard enough to maintain is it possible to loose weight if the insulin injections bring blood sugar down ? I eat keto but it’s not enough what insulin are you on. All the best faye 🇬🇧
I currently use Fiasp or Lyumjev at mealtime, and Tresiba u200 for long acting. It will absolutely be ok! It takes some time to get used to dosing, but you’ll get the hang of it!
Grapes are too much sugar!! Don't eat grapes. Strawberries are a better choice. Too many snacks stick with eating well balanced meals ....3 times or 4 times a day portion controlled. If your on ozembic shot stay away from spicy and don't have milk at all if your lactos. You eat alot of beans which will make you sick on the med . Mangos are very sweet too much sugar. Eat salads and some beef and grilled chicken with vegetables. Make soups and have low carb wraps with turkey and cheese. Make meals . Seem like these are snacks.
