Maybe he wants his next gen to enjoy that wealth.
But if that next gen is younger and now they are not enjoying that wealth, it makes no sense.

I understand your perspective, and you're right. Generally, people who have reached a certain level of success often don't seek advice from those who haven't achieved as much as they have. That's just the way things tend to work, so try not to let it bother you too much.

Rightly said Sir, the idea of happiness is relative but if you are so content with simplicity or simple living style and preaching about it then what's the point of money making ? So, really need to understand what drives him to accumulate wealth without using it to perhaps uncover other facets of life or to experience all possibilities of life.

Ankit, for some people, building wealth is their passion. Even after reaching 100 or 1000 crores, they stay the same and find joy in creating wealth, not in spending. They prefer reading balance sheets over partying or traveling.
People often ask, "What’s the point of wealth if not used?" But for them, the process itself is fulfilling. Like someone who loves reading, they’re happiest doing what they love. It's not about lifestyle changes; it's about finding happiness in their passion.

@@ChaudharyAnkit1602 Few more points on this I wanted to share but couldn't share due to message length restriction in my earlier message. :- It’s similar to someone who loves reading-they’ll be happiest reading all day, alone in a room, for days, months, or even years. It's not necessary for people to change their lifestyle after accumulating wealth. Some people who were poor but are now millionaires may still live the same way, or just slightly better. It depends on the person.

In my investing journey, I’ve learned that great investors are often simple, steady people. They remain unchanged for long periods and aren’t drawn to new thrills or adventures. There’s no rule that says if you’re poor, you must live poorly, or if you’re rich, you must live lavishly. It all depends on what makes you happy, where you find your passion, and what brings you the most joy.

Certain individuals continue to be affected by painful or difficult experiences from their childhood, and these emotional wounds remain with them throughout their lives, influencing their behavior, thoughts, or feelings. He has probably always lived that way, and it's hard for people to change even after becoming wealthy. They stay true to who they are and are difficult to change. Some think it's a bad thing, while a few believe it's a great quality.
