I also enjoy and play the game, im pretty good into the endgame already, so I know what I talk about.. The game isnt good. It was absolutely rigged, But money didn't need to be traded. They just wanted to suck Sony's dick so hard, and TLOUS2 was Sony's poster child.

TLOUS2 was such a monumental failure, sony had to paid critics and reviewers. Sales of that game were abysmal. In the stores i frequent, that game was not moving and was quickly put in discount. Then later ended up in discount bins, and i remember seeing people in my sales group trying to sell the game not even a month in of it coming out for like a quarter of its price... You should have seen their excuses: "Is a great game, but i already finished it, and i want other people have the CHANCE to enjoy it" ROFL.

Devs always have been out of touch. Barely understand peripherals or natural controls, push consoles to death, vets making their own studios you'd expect better but in some cases aren't, just repeat games and want high budgets like they had before and to make a continuation of those IPs, flops. They are delusional.
Vets want a budgets to continue their IPs, with none of the licensed/brand and think it will survive, nope. They have so many programmers, animators, artists, project managers and more and their all stupid no matter the marketing yet customers know better
We know better and their that stupid. Granted not all us players are that fair either to many products and what themes, gameplay, voices, tone, nostalgia and more many focus on but it still shows.
They understand the market but also don't understand the market or want the same and expect it to be fine, their salaries and more their worth. Won't build up again or try something different because their too lazy to do so.
I'm not one for nostalgia/trend setting Indies (am other Indies) but they do make better games. As well as old games I've never heard of but are better in some genres. Still fresh ideas, untouched, more fun.
I know a guy that scheduled some vacation time off work a few months in advance to no life the game. He was hyped playing it for awhile, but now he doesn't even care about it.
Just like 90% of the players. If you log in right now you will see that online is significantly decresed, solo world bossing is way more often now. The game is dying and i am not sorry.
I did this for Diablo 3 and regretted it (error 37) the difference is I learnt my lesson and didn't even buy D4

Blizzard is really hurting if they're pushing this hard to have a 2024 GOTY award at the start of the year from an organization nobody's ever heard of. I wonder if we'll see this tactic more frequently in the future - developers and publishers astroturfing fake organizations and fake fandoms for accolades and attention - its not like any of these developers or publishers are any good anymore. All of them fired their good developers and replaced them with woke fools and not one single developer can make a game with one-tenth the quality they put out ten years ago.
They'll ride the fake train until the money runs out. In the case of Blizzard being bankrolled by Microsoft now though, that's going to be a long time.
Now they're going to release the GOTY $99 battlepass which comes with a _free_ mount!
