Ok not gonna lie caught me off guard “Wait what the fuck is this”
Is it just a meta meme video or also an hint about how hollow gradually appeared all over the world without causing much trouble till eventually devolve in to an unstoppable world wide cataclysm?
that is basically what is being shown. This looks like how it all started which we see here there was no real organization designed to deal with these things yet.
Since Grace trailer came out, I was thinking about a theory that the Ether corrupts stuff that have electricity. The power unit of the machine turned into a "Ether core" (I don't know how they are called) and (*a little spoiler ahead for the beginning of the game*) at the beginning of the game the "Ether core" is appearing where the brain of that guy is. And brains do have electrical currents, but they are really really small, so when you think a lot or try to resist then more (still really small) electricity goes through your brain.
But I honestly don't know why Billy (if he even is) resistant to it. (I haven't played or watched much of beta gameplay, so I do not know if it was already said that they can get corrupted or not)
And maybe hollows appear near places that have electricity or crowds of people because of electricity too (which would probably explain why that one small hollow appeared near the guys that were in the water. Or it appeared because there were stones or minerals with electrical currents, but I do not know if they exist). They even showed in this video places that do have electricity near them, not a single video that was recorded outside of towns, except that one when those kids played in the water, but there has to be an explanation for that, too.

@@SorarikoMotoneI don't know if they did, because I only have Grace trailer, bit of gameplay and this video as a foundation of that theory, but if they did say that, then it is possible that they are talking about materials that can't transfer electricity (like some materials are better and some are worse at transfering electricity and some are really good at insulating that electricity, for example: PVC, rubber, etc.)

Honkai Impact 3rd is also set on Earth so it's not a surprise that ZZZ is also on earth considering that the producer worked on HI3rd

Now that is intresting. Skateboard enters one Hollow, and comes out another. There has never been an indication that the hollows are all connected before. Also the fact that that skateboard had enough momentum to escape by just going in one single direction (which, grante, the Hollows were very small at the time.)

@@chaostombNot really even a small hollow could get you done if you enter a spacial fissure because they are highly unstable. Also people must have developed ether resistense with time and generations just like we develop immunite to illness so at the start everyone had like 0 ether resistense.
