That snowrunt reminded me of my first arceus shiny, being the first pikachu I found in the game, it was just right there, I never planned on using it for my team, but she had other plans. I named her Kira, since Kirakira is glitter in Japanese. Now, she’s heading up the team of level 100 shinies going to flex on volo so hard, he immediately develops muscle atrophy
Sylveon and Milotic are just pure love. I can't stop having a Sylveon in my team whenever possible ever since gen6. Such an adorable cute Pokemon, absolute fav of mine
Same for sylveon except shiny.... and... female... and I tend to be so attached to the "signature pokemon syndrome" I don't progress the story until I get the sylveon...
My first legit, non-event shiny was a Bulbasaur in Pokémon Y when breeding for IVs. Was not expecting it, but not complaining. Some other ones close to me are Drednaw, the first Pokémon I shiny hunted in Shield, Regieleki, one of the few Gen 8 legendaries not shiny locked, and Arceus in BDSP.
Mine was a Ralts in SW/SH I was hoping for a male so I can use it to hunt more shines but I got a female. My first accidental was a larvitar in BD/SP I was pokeradar hunting for a good natured tyranitar and found a shiny without the grass even having the sparkle effect
In Legends Arceus, I was literally in the first mission in the Obsidian Fieldlands for not even ten minutes and I already found a shiny Buizel. Named her Eiko and she was a staple on my team for the whole rest of the main story :) I also got a shiny Mr. Mime pretty early and I’ve gotta say, it has to be one of the most polite shiny encounters I’ve ever had. It doesn’t run away or attack, it just throws up a barrier and sits perfectly still for you. Heck, mine even walked CLOSER after blocking/escaping from a few balls. Tbh I like Mr. Mime a lot more after getting that one in PLA because she was just so chill. Hit like a truck in battles too so I can’t complain, lol
in literally the first 5 minutes the second mon i saw on my screen was a shiny bidoof. used him for the rest of the game even if he wasn’t the strongest
you've remotivated me to play pokemon. I preordered the games but I lost all my motivation but your channel and storytelling are so amazing that I felt like I needed to play again
Shiny fire starters are always fun to get! I hatched a shiny Speed Boost Torchic with some pretty solid IVs a while back after getting its parent from a dynamax adventure. Blaziken’s a bit of a subtle shiny, but I’d be lying if I said it didn’t look awesome. That darkened red/white color combo suits it super well.
If you're seriously getting into shiny hunting now, I recommend you go back to gen 6 to try all the different shiny hunting methods in it. And there are a lot! Fish chaining, dexnav chaining, horde encounters, friend safari, radar, on top of the usual soft resetting, random encounters and breeding. You're bound to find a method that you'll enjoy. I've started shiny hunting seriously around 3 years ago with SH, and this year I've started branching out to older games. It's been over a week now that I've gone back to gen 6 and I just can't stop, it's just that nice.
I've been working on a shiny dex for two years on my Y file. Only method I have any trouble with is the radar. Gen4 radar was by far much easier to do. But shiny hunting is very easy from gen6 onward. Even more so in games like legends arceus, so it comes as no surprised why those games are so popular hunting in.
X was my first pokemon game and I played that game for so long shiny hunting my favorite methods was the fish chaining and horde hunting without shiny charm
One time in XY I hatched a shiny Larvitar, found a shiny Murkrow in a horde, and then found a random shiny Lickitung in victory road within the space of one week. The only one I was actually trying for was the Larvitar, the other two were totally random. Couldn’t believe my luck! One of my friends has been working on a shiny living dex for a while now and the chain fishing method in particular has been SUPER helpful for him!
Today I simply typed, "shiny hunting" into the RUclips search bar. I was taken aback by how good this video is. This is the exact kind of thing I was looking for. Thank you for sharing the absolute journey of your shiny hunts with us. You've earned a subscriber. 👍
I had 0 shinys prior to this year. In 1,000 hours now have over 700. Have around 630 in Legends Arceus, 42 in Shield, and several dozen in home mostly of Go shinys.
I know that 1 in 8192 seems daunting, but it seems like you love shiny hunting, hunting in the older games (gen 5 and below) is SO fun. Definitely recommend you check it out since you hunt alot
@Harvester Of Sorrow There's a difference in rarity, sure. But gatekeeping shinies make you look arrogant and they are still rare, just less so. Also, that is normal shinies. Go out and find me an alpha shiny (non static spawn) without resetting or using methods in arceus. I dare say it's about as rare as normal shinies at 1:8000. Do you also think 1:4000, that is, halving the rarity, invalidates all shines from the gen it was halved or what? The time spent doing these things is pretty much the reward, you have something to show for it, etc. Hunting for specifics is not about changes that happen but rather the effort going into it. Anyone who have a shiny legendary from 3rd gen still has their shiny legendary and the story to tell. It changes nothing, except when people are baby bitches and cry about rates that was halved in the main games a decade ago. Calm down and enjoy the differently colored pokemon. You are still special for doing the hunt for lower rate shinies, changing the rates doesn't change your accomplishment. The only reason to gatekeep this is to make others have a bad time. Remember this is a kids game, and in Arceus an 8yo would actually be playing the game way more while finding shinies they want without complicated mechanics or strategies. You're sad for gatekeeping, mate.
Man your voice is just so great for this style of video. A nice mix of casual and relaxed. And shoutout to thinking Frislass has a good shiny. Still my favorite Pokémon after all these years.
you're so right about how each shiny pokemon just takes a special place in your heart. my first two shinies were an eevee (later umbreon) and a fennekin back in X !! I bred for them and they were probably my luckiest since I got them both in somewhere under 30 eggs each I think. shiny fennekin and its evolutions are my favourite I think, the silver, purple and red combo looks so gorgeous! the rest of my time was spent trying for a shiny vulpix with absolutely no luck, lol. also as someone who's been playing a ton of a different hatsune miku rhythm game recently, that ending... jumpscared me, but in a good way haha
I can honestly agree, back when I was first introduced to my first shiny, a random shiny sandile, that single encounter showed me that odds can be broken with enough persistence, and honestly lead me to finding more shines alongside that shiny-adrenaline surge... And maybe both forms of shiny goodra (Kalosian/Hisuian) + shiny-alpha-hisuian goodra because of being a wholesome favorite...
bro so excited for this video! i’ve been trying to shiny hunt but never had motivation but your videos are what actually gave me motivation to shiny hunt as cringe as that sounds- keep up the good work noki!
haha i remember my very first shiny. it has a story, though its not all that much. I was playing a first playthrough of Pokemon Diamond and i had just caught heatran at stark mountain and was leaving when i got a random encounter in the grass. My reaction was incredible when i saw it was my very first shiny, a level 52 male Fearow to be exact. After celebrating by doing a lap around my house, i went to go catch it and saw that i was lacking pokeballs after trying to catch heatran for so long, lacking so badly that i only had 1 remaining pokeball. a repeat ball. now i had never even caught a fearow in this playthrough before so i was very very annoyed when i saw it was all i had left. i threw it and it miraculously caught, i did no damage or gave it any status effect either. was very happy that day :). i love seeing other people share their shiny stories in videos such as these because they are all such a unique experience to listen to.
Your videos give me motivation to shiny hun Dialga in Brilliant Diamond and thanks to my friend I've decided to nickname him "Baja Blast" once I get him Over 3400 resets as of today though but thanks to you I'm not losing hope
I love this video. Shinys are not only collectibles, the moments your capture or encounter them are truly magic. I once was on a pokemon day and got the pikachu there as a shiny. First i thought that was normal and everyone got it shiny, but it wasnt. I was just very very lucky. And even after all those years i still got that pikachu save on my Pokemon X ^^
Props to you on all those shinies, must’ve been a great year ! Currently hunting shiny arceus rn, 8 days in, and first major shiny hunt (aside from pla) that i’m doing :D
Always amaze me the dedication that some people put in their passion, while you could have done anything else you choose to play pokemon for 1000 h to get shiny and i gotta say i respect that
Noki the shiny snorunt whisperer Really nice collection my friend so great to see all those nice shiny collected all over the years ! And amazing video as usual (so jealous of the female heracross I need that alpha for my small penguin heart)
that is incredibly impressive. i kind of want to start shiny hunting again now lol. also your choice of background music is a huge w, rolling girl is awesome
I shiny hunted Tapu Lele in a Love Ball and resetting after every catch and getting told off for it was such a slog. Probably twenty hours? Maybe more? She's so worth it, though. And absolutely the best shiny Tapu.
I love shiny pokemon, not just for their colors, but the fun stories I get to tell to my father about how, when, and the climax of how I found them, for example, some of my most rememberable shinies: Lucie, she's my only Alpha shiny, an Alpha Luxray, found her while heading to a Bronsor outbreak, if I took a different path I wouldn't have found her Charlie, shiny Crustle in UM, my first shiny other than pokemon go shinies On my very first massive mass outbreak, a shiny Cascoon, once I caught it, another one spawned immediately right after, on the same massive mass outbreak, I went to check out a Krickatot outbreak, heard the shiny sound, none of the Krickatots were shiny, was about to dismiss it has something else, then saw a random shiny Krickatot staring at me, named them Benny, Kenny, and Denny A shiny Rufflet, on Valentines day, my first legends arceus shiny A random, shiny Carnvine, on my birthday, I named him Bday Phill, heard the shiny sound, checked the Gible outbreak, no shiny, looked for ten more minutes, then noticed the Magnezone flying above me, it had a blue eye. My first random shiny in a game with half odds, Cheese, my shiny Wurmple in legends, then found a shiny Drifloon I named big ballooon about 30 minutes later. Full Odds, my shiny Quagsire in Platium, found him before I found a random shiny in a half odds game, was training my Tangela for Crasher Wake, and I found him, knowing he was shiny, before he even shined, it felt like it took extra long for the options on what to do appeared on screen, I had like ten seconds to process I actually found a shiny instead of 5, it felt longer than ten seconds though. Speaking of shiny pokemon in older games, I finally got enough money to buy a ds I could play my dad's ruby and firered files on, booted up ruby, it wasn't my dad's, it belonged to someone named Sayori, she had a shiny Zagoose in her box. Last shiny that's worthy enough to mention, as soon as I got Nintendo online, I wanted to trade, so I hatched some old eggs I had, you see, some of these eggs where Indeedee, I had sheild, so Indeedee I find are always female, but I can breed males, I wanted both gender differences so I bread a female Indeedee, and was thinking about making it a shiny hunt, so I used the Japanese Pikachu that you get from pokemon home, the only pokemon from another language I had at the time, hatched about 3/8, and left the other ones in the box because hatching Indeedee eggs takes a while, and it was about 5 days away from being extactly a year later from when I got the eggs, ONE OF THE EGGS WAS SHINY And I bid you not, right after, I saw an advertisement for an Aromatisse raid, hoped in, AND IT WAS SHINY (I had wanted one for a while, I ran away from on I found because I had a Spirtizee in my party, forgot that Spirtizee evolves by trade, as soon as I get online a raid for it is advertised, and it was freaking shiny.) That's all
When I finished the quick catching of bidoof starly and shinx. I got a shiny bidoof! I was sad because the shiny isn’t good but I loved it. My first shiny.
I'll always remember my first 2 shinies. My first was a shiny M unown in my first playthrough of Pokémon Diamond, while doing the story with my brother. My second ever shiny was a shiny Bibarel, this time on Pokémon Pearl (We had both games and switched around to do a new playthrough), on my second playthrough of Gen 4. We were in a night train coming home from a trip and playing on our DS together, and it took me a whole minute fighting this random Bibarel to realize it was shiny, because I wasn't looking at the screen when it appeared so didn't see the stars. It took me looking at my brother's screen because he happened to be fighting a wild Bibarel too (what are the odds), and I was like "Wait, why's yours slightly darker than mine ?" Mind you, I was just about to knock out my Bibarel at that point. I then realized it was shiny, and proceeded to catch it. Absolutely love that slightly lighter Bibarel
I got my first "technically" full odds shiny a few days ago (not counting legends arceus... where I caught a mantyke without realizing which would otherwise be my first). I caught a ralts in renegade platinum (without the increased shiny odds patch) while trying to learn how to chain pokemon across a few days of attempts. I think I broke my 12th chain (longest I gotten was 29) and found the shiny patch at a chain of 8. I couldnt believe how lucky I got consideding I only encountered around 100 ralts. And it appeared to have 2 perfect IVs which was cool too. I say technically full odds because it was so close to the start of the chain that the odds were barely different from finding one without the pokeradar. I believe it was around 1/6000 compared to the normal 1/8000 in gen 4. I might try to make it legal using pkhex and try to trade it over to pokemon bank since I'm playing on an actual 3ds with twilightmenu++.... never tried it before but I think it should work... though honestly I never used pokemon bank before either so idk.
I ran into a full-odds Chansey in Heartgold back in 2010, which alone has a 1/819,200 chance of showing up in any static encounter on that route. The real twist was it literally the first Chansey I encountered in that game.
Damn this is really impressive showcase! About two weeks ago, just when SV came out I decided to play USUM again cuz I can't get the new games rn, and on a whim I decided to try shiny hunting Yveltal. I gave up after a few hours, deciding to come back after I get the shiny charm. While I was searching for Yveltal wormhole, I found a whole bunch of shinys, tho those really don't count lol. HOWEVER, while trying to finish the dex, I ended up randomly walking into shiny Raticate and Digglett, which were my first full odds shinys I found, ever. I also managed to find shiny Clamperl with full odds as well cuz I misunderstood how SOS chaining works lol. Right now, I have completed my dex and got the shiny charm. I'm going to hunt for Yveltal now. Your channel has been very inspiring and fun watch while grinding, I hope you keep up the good work and good luck with your future hunts!
Legends Arceus probably got a lot more people into shiny hunting because of how easy and fun it is in that game but I definitely do want shinies in SwSh and BDSP as well, and this video gives me hope that I can someday achieve that. Can we all also agree that Rolling Girl is such a bop?
i didnt expect the intro music be something like 'Infant Queen Bee/Midorigo Queen Bee/Eiji Kuinbii or whaterver you call it but seeing you play a rhythm game it makes sense
My brother and I used to play Pokémon a ton in our childhood together and even shiny hunt together (2010s about?), he passed away January and I stopped playing nintendo around then, I decided to get back into the game earlier this week but I was going to get a new switch 😅 your videos really encouraged me to get back at it!
i got pokemon sword for the first time yesterday since not playing since i got pokemon silver when i was like 7.... just wanted to say you're my favorite pokemon YTer! I love these shiny videos they motivate me so much. Keep up these amazing videos!!!
i hate how those discord bots and twitch bots and all those hackers completely ruin the point of shiny pokemon and it makes them feel so under appreciated when you see so many people have all these hacked pokemon. respect to you, i've watched a couple vids, now im going to sub.
In my first play through of white I found at least 3 shinies (that I remember), and me being 7 thought they gave more exp and decided to kill them all.
I honestly don't know how you can know it's a shiny just from seeing it and know right away it's a shiny. Really there are a ton of things I don't understand about Pokémon but I only recently started getting into it.
im calling it now, Noki is the next big youtuber. his voice is perfect, funny commentary, good at games, charisma, and just overall fun to watch. he deserves way more subs than he has (which is still a ton!) keep it up. You're awesome. -Jax :)
My first soft reset shiny was shiny Lugia in Pokemon Soulsilver when I randomly got the urge to shiny hunt a legendary in that game, and it took me almost a full month, nicknamed it "Luigi"
I just finished my longest ever hunt the other day. Shiny Regirock in Shield. I started the hunt in Ultra Moon and failed due to struggle (no harvest set up like an idiot) resumed in the Crown Tundra and have been going on and off since it came out. This last week i was determined to get it and after thousands of resets, easily 10k+ it finally shined. 10 Luxury balls later and its mine. And i was rewarded for my patience with a Square Shiny with the perfect nature too. Love all your shiny videos dude, keep up the brilliant work.
My first full odds shiny was a Makuhita in Dewford Cavern in Alpha Sapphire. It caught me off guard for sure, but my most memorable experience reflects your Snorunt experience in my first play through of Legends Arceus, where I was barely into the caves of Alabastor Icelands, and the second Hisui Zorua I found was a shiny.
My first shiny was a shiny Metagross in Sword. It took about 30 hours to hunt, and is my favorite shiny. I am currently working on a shiny dex in Legends Arceus, and I now love shiny hunting, all thanks to this white Metagross.
My first shiny Alpha in this game was the Infernape on that little island. Never battled it before or caught it, so it was at base odds. I actually had no pokemon strong enough to catch it so I had to use all my EXP candies to level my Sneasler so I had a chance. After pumping it up to level 68, I was able to weaken it enough to catch it. One of my favorite shiny hunting memories (I also got another one in an Massive Mass Outbreak, which was less thrilling, but neat still) Can't wait to make more shiny hunting memories in Gen 9!
Froslass has always been my favorite Pokémon as well, and i was excited to find a female snorunt in Pokémon go. Unfortunately it wasn’t shiny but the hunt must go on!
Lol. One of my favorite Pokémon is frostless and I’ve been shiny hunting snorunts in Arceus. When I saw the intro I though “ man, this guys got a whole army of shiny snorunts”
Noki literally all of your bdsp videos give sooo much inpsire to me and your legendary shinies and you posting that pokemon home update was a whole game changer for me and ive also gotten shiny arceus in LEGENDS arceus and your "i forgot my master ball" series are the ones that inspire me you have the best edits that make me laugh and sometimes wheeze ive liked all of your videos and am happy to support you sorry for the long comment btw have a great whole life❤
I know my first shiny was a Golbat from Turnback Cave in Pearl version that has since been lost to time, but I remember my first real meaningful shiny encounter (that I still have) was a Cottonnee in my first Pokemon Black playthrough from Pinwheel Forest, whom I dubbed “Blue Moon” (which made more sense when it evolved into Whimsicott). Since then, my luck was never particularly great outside of Pokémon Go, but just this past week I set out in PLA with the goal to obtain shiny Hisuian Zorua, and last night at 1:30 in the morning, my efforts were rewarded. I know that it’s easier than ever to obtain shiny Pokémon these days, but there is something insanely rewarding about both running into a shiny by accident AND setting a goal to find one and accomplishing it. Thistle the blue Zorua will be a treasured core memory for all of time.
I have a pretty dumb shiny memory. So I was trying to complete the Pokédex for the shiny charm in Shield. On my quest to complete the dex I was looking for Cherubi and didn’t know that I had to shake the tree and while spending days not shaking the trees like an idiot I ran into Mocamp, my shiny Machop.
I had a really memorable moment when one of the giant pokemon spawned as shiny (luxray), I ran out of balls and died, and quickly rushed back after making some more only to find out he was still there and got the catch
My first (and only I think) alpha shiny pokemon in Legends Arceus was a Lucario! I was beyond happy because I got it the first time I enconter it! And Lucario is my favorite pokemon too so, I will always remember that moment!
My first shiny was a Klink from a raid in pokemon go. I didn't know this newer pokemon at all, and realized only a week after catching it that the normal one isn't actually gold.
First shiny was a zubat. I was 9 or 10 didn’t know what a shiny was and I hated it soooooo much it’s green but I caught it and put it in the box to never look at it again
I had the exact same experience with Snorunt, I knocked out the first Snorunt in my walk-through and the second was blue, I wasn't expecting shinies would be this easy to get in PLA at the time
I found my first ever shiny recently when levelling my team for the elite four in pokemon moon, when this little blue snorunt just popped up. I was pretty excited until I saw that it was a male, so couldn't evolve into a froslass. Funnily enough, though, that disappointment is what actually drove me to begin shiny hunting.
I just love shiny hunting - it started with me checking my old Black file (which I played when i was like 9-10) and just seeing one of my favorite shinies chilling there, a Reuniclus. My peak was probably when I was on-off hunting the Mewtwo in Soul Silver, and I got it 2 hours into my birthday, literally my lucky charm for eternity
honestly i just wanted an excuse to show a ton of shiny pokemon with cool music lol
subscribe for more, scarlet and violet are getting closer 💜
Nice
Shinies are cool. Also how do you have the time to shiny hunt???
I would aswell ngl to try to seem like I’m not bragging but I only have like 7 shinys or something
Nokimon Be like Masterball=content No masterball=No content

it kinda sucks that they're all shiny-locked, I'd love to have a black Koraidon
@@sernai6788 more than likely gonna be Tera raids during DLC

I just hatched my first legit shiny charmander today. Watching this makes me want to continue hunting shinies. Nice collection!
Oh wow, my first legit shiny was a scorbunny. Looks like we are fire starter twinsies
My first shiny was a shiny magikarp in pokemon gold, 20 years ago. Ah the memories

Love your forgotten masterball series, the editing on all the videos to make each pokemon seem so cool and mysterious and very well done. Good job!
Your videos give me motivation to shiny hun Dialga in Brilliant Diamond and thanks to my friend I've decided to nickname him "Baja Blast" once I get him
Over 3400 resets as of today though but thanks to you I'm not losing hope
You oddly either found it by now, or are over odds. Best of luck to you!!
@@oveja9975 I’m pretty sure the odds are 4,000 something
I love this video. Shinys are not only collectibles, the moments your capture or encounter them are truly magic. I once was on a pokemon day and got the pikachu there as a shiny. First i thought that was normal and everyone got it shiny, but it wasnt. I was just very very lucky. And even after all those years i still got that pikachu save on my Pokemon X ^^
Props to you on all those shinies, must’ve been a great year ! Currently hunting shiny arceus rn, 8 days in, and first major shiny hunt (aside from pla) that i’m doing :D
Man, if only you could hunt ANY legendary in gen 9
Always amaze me the dedication that some people put in their passion, while you could have done anything else you choose to play pokemon for 1000 h to get shiny and i gotta say i respect that
How is this guy not over a million subs. The editing, music and voice-overs are amazing. Keep this up man!
Noki the shiny snorunt whisperer
Really nice collection my friend so great to see all those nice shiny collected all over the years ! And amazing video as usual (so jealous of the female heracross I need that alpha for my small penguin heart)
5:05 gen 8 is bdsp, pla and SwSh
Wow, all of these shines look amazing!
My first soft reset shiny was a shiny Zapdos and Ill never forget it
that is incredibly impressive. i kind of want to start shiny hunting again now lol. also your choice of background music is a huge w, rolling girl is awesome
At 5:30 the shiny alcremie you hatched was on my bday!
man these shinies are so cool, can't wait to see more in scarlet/violet :) in the meantime... keep catching them!!
I shiny hunted Tapu Lele in a Love Ball and resetting after every catch and getting told off for it was such a slog. Probably twenty hours? Maybe more? She's so worth it, though. And absolutely the best shiny Tapu.
I love shiny pokemon, not just for their colors, but the fun stories I get to tell to my father about how, when, and the climax of how I found them, for example, some of my most rememberable shinies:
Lucie, she's my only Alpha shiny, an Alpha Luxray, found her while heading to a Bronsor outbreak, if I took a different path I wouldn't have found her
Charlie, shiny Crustle in UM, my first shiny other than pokemon go shinies
On my very first massive mass outbreak, a shiny Cascoon, once I caught it, another one spawned immediately right after, on the same massive mass outbreak, I went to check out a Krickatot outbreak, heard the shiny sound, none of the Krickatots were shiny, was about to dismiss it has something else, then saw a random shiny Krickatot staring at me, named them Benny, Kenny, and Denny
A shiny Rufflet, on Valentines day, my first legends arceus shiny
A random, shiny Carnvine, on my birthday, I named him Bday
Phill, heard the shiny sound, checked the Gible outbreak, no shiny, looked for ten more minutes, then noticed the Magnezone flying above me, it had a blue eye.
Last shiny that's worthy enough to mention, as soon as I got Nintendo online, I wanted to trade, so I hatched some old eggs I had, you see, some of these eggs where Indeedee, I had sheild, so Indeedee I find are always female, but I can breed males, I wanted both gender differences so I bread a female Indeedee, and was thinking about making it a shiny hunt, so I used the Japanese Pikachu that you get from pokemon home, the only pokemon from another language I had at the time, hatched about 3/8, and left the other ones in the box because hatching Indeedee eggs takes a while, and it was about 5 days away from being extactly a year later from when I got the eggs, ONE OF THE EGGS WAS SHINY
And I bid you not, right after, I saw an advertisement for an Aromatisse raid, hoped in, AND IT WAS SHINY
(I had wanted one for a while, I ran away from on I found because I had a Spirtizee in my party, forgot that Spirtizee evolves by trade, as soon as I get online a raid for it is advertised, and it was freaking shiny.)
That's all
Man i just found your channel and I already love it..old school runescape music is an instant subscription and like from me
Each frame of this video and every Shiny Pokémon featured here is just how much pure dedication there is here! It's beyond immeasurable.
lol
2:54 the Sylveon running towards you syncs perfectly with the music
When I finished the quick catching of bidoof starly and shinx. I got a shiny bidoof! I was sad because the shiny isn’t good but I loved it. My first shiny.
him: *catches 300 shinies*
Me with only a shiny bidoof: Impressive.
10:54 this aged well 💀
I'll always remember my first 2 shinies.
It took me looking at my brother's screen because he happened to be fighting a wild Bibarel too (what are the odds), and I was like "Wait, why's yours slightly darker than mine ?"
Mind you, I was just about to knock out my Bibarel at that point. I then realized it was shiny, and proceeded to catch it. Absolutely love that slightly lighter Bibarel
I always love it when Noki uploads. Are you going to go with scarlet or violet?
Violet! Purple is my favorite color so gotta represent with the futuristic violet gang 🤝
@@Nokimon same!
@@Nokimon yo same here

That Korikio Village soundtrack you put in there is dope. Full on nostalgia
In the game list I noticed PJD and I was delighted to see that that was actually part of the video!
So much awesome Experiences! Thanks for sharing them with us Noki :)
I love the wowaka part at the end, now I know you have good tastes in Pokemon and vocaloid producers
That was such an epic video I loved it so much
right after the training/tutorial i found a shiny starly which i think was the 3rd pokemon i ever saw
I was not expecting that ending but I loved it
You are very talented at making these videos, also your YT channel are going up like 5x faster than a normal YT channel, keep it up!
Love your videos keep up the good work :D
This video has inspired me to find a shiny magikarp in PLA.
This video is really well made and makes me want to hunt
I ran into a full-odds Chansey in Heartgold back in 2010, which alone has a 1/819,200 chance of showing up in any static encounter on that route. The real twist was it literally the first Chansey I encountered in that game.
“With Scarlet and Violet inching closer and closer I’m getting really excited to shiny hunt every legendary I can in that game too”
Game Freak: 🖕👁👄👁🖕
10:47 "5000 soft resets"
Chem Nation: *Laughs in over 12,000*
i didnt expect the intro music be something like 'Infant Queen Bee/Midorigo Queen Bee/Eiji Kuinbii or whaterver you call it but seeing you play a rhythm game it makes sense
I’ve been playing Pokémon sword For 2 years and never saw a wild shiny Pokémon. But my cousin saw a shiny braviary after a few months.
"We gotta pick up the pace let's play some music", proceeds to play one of the best ost of all time. goated video
-Jax :)
😭 that means a lot, thanks Jax!!
“Come to bed honey”
“No. I must get a slightly different colored Froslass”
Pokémon shiny hunting is anti-Simp
My first gen 9 shiny was a rookie I accidentally ran into while riding around!
One of my favorite shiny hunting memories (I also got another one in an Massive Mass Outbreak, which was less thrilling, but neat still)
Can't wait to make more shiny hunting memories in Gen 9!
Froslass has always been my favorite Pokémon as well, and i was excited to find a female snorunt in Pokémon go. Unfortunately it wasn’t shiny but the hunt must go on!
"All of my shinies have a story behind them." " this is my shiny magikarp named drip. I have no idea when I caught it. "
2:56 that Crobat is hooked up for life
Lol. One of my favorite Pokémon is frostless and I’ve been shiny hunting snorunts in Arceus. When I saw the intro I though “ man, this guys got a whole army of shiny snorunts”
my first shiiny in legends arceus was gible!!! my sister got luxray haha. my favorite shiny i have so far is alpha shiny riolu!!
Love the runescape music in the beginning! The feels
IM ACTUALLY SO SORRY I DIDNT KNOW THE ROBE ON FROSLASS WAS ORIGINALLY RED
You will never forget that memory because you filmed it.
First shiny was a zubat. I was 9 or 10 didn’t know what a shiny was and I hated it soooooo much it’s green but I caught it and put it in the box to never look at it again
That end scene though 🤣 hatsune miko caught me so off guard
Your videos are always so good!!! I’m glad I subscribed
Kinda wild to hear music from Umineko in a video that's not a shitpost and from a different fandom!
I had the exact same experience with Snorunt, I knocked out the first Snorunt in my walk-through and the second was blue, I wasn't expecting shinies would be this easy to get in PLA at the time
Love the background music on this video!
Title: What 1000 hours of shiny hunting in Pokemon looks like
My expectations: 2 shinies
THE MADOKA MAGICA REFERENCES !!!!! I LOVE IT
I found my first ever shiny recently when levelling my team for the elite four in pokemon moon, when this little blue snorunt just popped up.
It's a great list, mate. But damn, that Johnstone living dex shiny stream looks even more insane now.
