Dear sweet Robbie, narrate!! As long as we get a podcast from you we don’t care!! We love to see you working, teaching us & just talking to us either way!! 😘🥰❤️
Dear Robbie! Good morning and you should NEVER ditched it!!!!!!!!!!!! Had you didn’t, ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE LOVE YOUR NARRATED VIDS AS ANY OTHER ONES YOU POST JUST LOVE WATCHING SND LEARNING from you!! Thank you for making my day again. Xo
You truly are my favorite gardener on YT. Thank you so much for all the information that you share with us. Keep up the great work that you and Gary do to help nature.
Thanks for NOT scrapping this video, Robbie. All your thoughts are welcome. My first harvest as an adult was broccoli sprouts in a quart sized canning jar ... and I still do it now.
You were wonderful. We all love what you do and please don't stop.About clothes? I had to laugh because like you and Gary, I ware holly pants and ripped shirts too. I noticed my new collards were being chewed on, so I made covers (thanks to you). Can't wait to learn more this Fall and Winter. Hope to feed a couple hummers and more finches this winter. Till the next video, thanks & happy gardening.
Robbie you have inspired me .I haven' t given that much thought about the wildlife source of food before.I definitely will grow more wild flowers and be mindful to leave some of the spent vegetation in place.Thank you.
Love your videos and your narrating. You have so many great ideas. I'm always telling other people about your channel when they ask me about my garden space and how I have applied your ideas. Have a nice weekend. My hummingbirds have headed to your place this week. Thanks so much. We love you. Take care.
You did good. I did an other count yesterday 187 totes 16 more to be put together. I spend so much work on old plants to chop up to fill them. Buying more at thrifts every time I go to town. Buying dish pans too for growing in doors. Also pots, planter boxes, 3 water tubs, herbs and mass weeds in ground, growing in totes due to bind weed. I need to try soap sprays for all the bugs sucking the life out of my leaves. I never seem to get the beneficial bugs at the right times of year due to weather and lack of money.
Hi Robbie! Hey, My son in law put clear corrugated plastic sheeting on my gazebo in place of the canvas roof that had crashed. The canvas just made it dark n dreary in there, so it was actually a blessing it crashed. I love relaxing n looking up at the sky, plus I am growing tomato plants in here. They love it. Juli from Michigan
Find a way to cover the tunnel with chicken wire. We covered a portable car port after the cover rotted away. I love it and all my plants and seedlings go into it. I placed shade over the top but next time I will cover plants from the inside instead!! I don't think the dog kennels will be big enough for you! Remember you need room for a walkway inside the kennel!
Hi Robbie ❤ beautiful space. Its my dream but for now zone 3 in Canada is my garden. I haven't found neem to be banned (yet? Maybe it will be im not sure) buy yes its sold everywhere here! Online and in stores. I have never used it but have considered it for my indoor hydroponics 😅
I grow in a dog kennel on the edge of the forest and without the hardware cloth sealing it up, including the top, I would have way too much pest pressure. I put the larger pond pebbles on the floor, and I use wine barrels to grow in as well as other pots that fit. I put dead wood and other carbon in the bottom of the barrels and pots. Then I added compost, manure and soil as well as red wigglers. In summer I put shade cloth over the top to protect against middle of the day sun, which is intense where I live. I do hang a hummingbird feeder for the bees and a bee waterer. That does help to bring in pollinators. So far working well….
What if you covered the dog kennel with fiberglass screen material to keep out insects? I am glad you decided to keep the tunnel to try out for a full growing season next year and the totes will be all ready in the Spring from your hard work and effort now.
Thanks Robbie, enjoyed the fall tour. You have accomplished alot! Everything is looking great. Question: can I propagate my yellow honeysuckle plant the same way you did your hummingbird lunch plant? I have tried rooting in water with no success.I also used rooting powder and directly into soil, no luck. 🌵🎃👻🐓🐾Zoe🐾🍉🥦😘
Yes you can! But some types may root better than others. I would not try rooting them in water. Try them the way I did, no rooting hormone and try with the rocks, the way I did it in my Fall Garden Tour opening, because the rocks keep the soil damp never allowing it to dry out. As we go into winter, try to keep it in a warm spot, not the sun
I just found your channel today. My question is this. By using your totes do you place wholes at the bottom for drainage? How do you prevent the dirt from coming out? I fight voles and gophers. This might work for roses.💙🦋🐝💙🦋🐝
Do you think real serious gardeners are recognizable by our ratty clothes? I do. I have t shirts that are so old that they're nearly transparent! I wear my oldest jeans or shorts. I did keep some of my scrubs when I retired to keep the ticks off.
I can't agree more. I've thrown tattered shirts and pants out, only to retrieve them saying, "ain't nothing wrong with this. what was I thinking"....several times in fact. Lol.

Watching you get your containers ready for the new season helps not only inspires us, but still teaches us so much. Keep talking, we love it.

Enjoy watching from KY
I watch from western KY.
I really enjoyed the narration!

Doing great, hope all is good with you 😊 Thanks

What if you tulle the tunnel. 🤔
Hello Robbie
I really don't care for malabar spinach. Your voice over is fine. Don't worry about it.
Thanks so very much ❤
Have you considered putting the totes inside the archway to protect from critters?
Yes, but that actually will create a better Cover for the critters, making it better for their protection…not my plants😮
Thanks Robbie, enjoyed the fall tour. You have accomplished alot! Everything is looking great.

I use square buffers over my hummerbird the ones that look like a large bowels turned upside down
That sounds great, I have used large bowls and/or plates, thanks!❤️

I missed the video where you talk about the metal bed what was your experience with it?
😊❤👍🏼
I would rather you narrate than not see anything at all. So thank you for giving us that option! And don't forget to eat what you grow!
Wondering why your roof isn't see thru to let the sun in.

So well said, many others look so glamorous in the garden, never me, LOL
I can't agree more. I've thrown tattered shirts and pants out, only to retrieve them saying, "ain't nothing wrong with this. what was I thinking"....several times in fact. Lol.
Also, stop using your microwave. It nukes the good stuff in your food. Use Airfryer, Stove Top, or Oven
I try not to use the microwave either!
Cannada, great standards for animals, sad not much for humans, especially, elders.😢
i watch another channel, dirtpatcheaven. and she make tunnels, covers with plastic and makes huge hot beds that last all year.
