I dont think Brooke had her own desk until she got Alison out of the job, then she took Alisons desk! Up to that point she would follow Alison or Amanda around the office with her little notebook, only sitting where there was a spare seat.

I was the opposite, I remember being upset that they killed her off so quickly, I felt there was a lot more insanity to explore

Alison was really annoying during this period. Brooke conspired with Amanda to take Alison's job, then she went and married Billy behind her back, and Alison is still foolishly helping her.
Not mention she also betrayed Amanda by bringing her abusive ex husband back into her life.

he was soooo cruel. At least she really loved him, but Billy never did. He just married her to make Alison jealous.

Why? Brooke faked a pregnancy and Billy found out from her doctor. I don't know a man in this world that would be cool, calm and collected from that kind of deceit.
