After this season 5, nothing was the same as before. Almost the entire original cast left, leaving only crumbs. The best of "Melrose Place" was its iconic characters such as Jane, Allison, Jake, Jo, Kimberly and Sydney. Following unsuccessful negotiations between the actors and the production for salary increases, all left... a real shipwreck. For me, killing Sydney was a huge mistake. The character brought to the series all its share of surprises and major interest to offer it the best ending scenario. Seasons 6 and 7 were no longer very explosive.

Jamie Luner can play a Vixen with the best of them - You can write a script and hire actors to deliver the lines - but to have an actor that can bring those lines to life and actually make you believe it - Many actors try to play nasty but fail on delivery - Jamie Luner is so wickedly deliciously bad and will hold her own in any scene !!
