Paulogia is a liar, because he never ever was a christian. In fact he doesn't even know the Biblical definition of christianity, because he never actually read the Bible, nor has anyone else who believes his lies.
PROPHECY is the proof that God is 100% correct and the Einsteinium world view is proof of the Supernatural, because Einstein claims that nobody can know the future before it occurs, as it would violate CAUSALITY.

I don’t know if you watched the video, but it clearly and repeatedly explains that the matter and energy of the singularity that expanded into our universe was not nothing, so you might want to edit that.
Your post expresses anxiety and anger. The knowledge you assert sounds like it’s a burden and a big responsibility to you. If God is in control how are these your burdens to bear? People are available to you who may help you in finding the peace that passeth understanding. Perhaps it is well with your soul, but it sounds tormented based on the word choice and all caps in the post, consequently your wellness and safety are concerning to me.

I've always hated the "explain why you're an atheist" question as the person is basically asking me to consolidate decades of thought into an elevator pitch. It just isn't doable.
I don't know, I find "because there is no evidence for God" to be a very concise answer.
Plus, they are never satisfied that the whole explanation focuses around the reasons why we stopped believing in sky daddy, as those questioners usually demand that we also have to give a complete, extensive and hyper-detailed explanation about everything and the kitchen sink in the universe. They don't get that atheism simply means "not believing in any deity, that includes your sky daddy"
I like the "why would i believe in a god" as an 'explanation'. It puts the burden right back at the theist, and if they try to claim to not understand i can bring bigfoot in the conversation.
When they’re looking for an elevator pitch, I ask them why they aren’t Christian… or Muslim… or Hindu… or Jewish… or a Zoroastrian - depending on whatever belief they profess. Inevitably, they point towards a lack of evidence (which is really just an unfamiliarity with other religions because they ALL lack evidentiary support) or they cry foul on the fallacious arguments used by other faiths (which is often just a double standard, borne of bias and cognitive dissonance, that insulates their faith through hypocrisy). We know how amino acids chains could have developed on a prebiotic earth and have even replicated that phenomenon. And no, the debate over whether the universe is finite or eternal is quite contentious still.

My answer to the question , "Why is there something rather than nothing?", is because there is something. I believe that is the best answer anybody will ever have. Theists are always implying they have some other answers but theirs is really the same. They just make the something their god. Why is there god rather than nothing? Though we probably should not trust our intuition in this case, it seems that something must exist on its own and not depend on anything else for its existence but why is it easier to believe if the "something" is an omnipotent superguy who did it just for us unless omnipotence allowed god to create himself? Besides, even if you can show that there had to be a creator it doesn't you know anything about the creator.

Some years ago I might have thought these were compelling. But all of these "bangs" were dismissed in an undergraduate human ecological evolution course and graduate biogeochemistry course that I took.

I'm sincerely sorry to learn that you've been struggling with this. CPTSD is indeed really difficult to live with. I can confirm, but for a completely different life's trauma.
I am so grateful that I have never had to face, what I can only imagine to be, the most intellectually, mentally and emotionally challenging ordeal, of finding my world view in crisis.
I am amazed at the ability of people to take that difficulty and turn it into understanding about the world as it is and the people who exist outside of that religious bubble.

Every step of self-awareness is reflected in life. Modeling the evironment and our position in it, then making quick adjustments in a continuous feedback loop is an extremely valuable survival tool, and seems to be the best candidate for the phenomenon of conscious self awareness.

Thank you for recommending the book, Paul. My maternal grandpa doesn't have much time left and I feel rather conflicted. Given his extreme religious views in the past. He was pretty Catholic. Part of me does feel sad, since I cared a lot about him in my younger years. Either way, I'm going to get the book for myself and recommended it to my mom. She appreciated the gesture.
Likewise here, With both of my grandparents. Lots of people all around the world suffer the passing of loved ones from so many different ways and times in their life.. but for most, at no stage seems to be an "easy" one for such events. I thought I may buy that book for several different family members as well. I believe the grieving process is extremely important to navigate as healthily as possible.
I was one of those kids that only went to church because I was promised breakfast and the whole time I was in the pews I was either drawing on the program or thinking about whatever new game was at blockbuster that month. When I joined the military at 17 I chose "Chaplain's Assistant" as my job because it sounded interesting. After working and living with religious leaders from everything from Catholicism to Wicca I eventually switched from a vague childhood god belief to an intellectual fascination. I never had an epiphany or anything, feels like I was always an atheist and just didn't have a word for it till someone called me one. So I can't relate to believers because I only ever "believed" when I was a child and I don't relate to my child self. I feel empathy for them though.

It is a fairly standard tactic, used to lend credence. I am very suspicious of it because 'real' atheism as opposed to just not thinking about a deity, is a product of reasoning, whereas religion is more a product of emotion. Views born of reasoning, need reasoning to change them.

The disparity between the god of the Bible and the god described by the Vicar, were unreconcilable. This process took me years to think through. This video dropped at a good time to find me in the mood to listen and reply to a number of things.
After a recent life and death experience with many hours in the ER and some rather heroic efforts by doctors and nurses, I survived the experience.
I was told afterwards that I had died a number of times in the ER but they managed to bring me back. My recollection of this (and despite being heavily sedated I have quite vivid memories of being intubated etc., is that "Heaven", or perhaps Hell, maybe both was more like a Nevada nuclear test town before or after the bomb had gone off.
Lifeless, empty, no bodies in the street or in the buildings, not even cockroaces. The palace reminded me of a cheesy plastic dine from the '50's that was not even straight on it's foundation.
Thus ended a 65 year long quest from Sunday School to present day that left me unindoctrinated, but curious. Just show me the some proof and I could have believed perhaps. I was a 6 on Dawkins scale of belief to atheism, so firmly agnostic but open to reasonable arguments. No more, a solid 7 on that scale.
I don't deny other people their beliefs, their comfort in a deity but it's not for me.
Flash back a few more years while our son was dying after a 6.5 year battle with ALS. My wife (Catholic upbringing until I ruined her...lol), wanted to get him baptized to avoid an eternity of limbo. At this point it really didn't make much difference. I told her what I expected and we went to the church.
Sure enough a good Irish Catholic Priest had his chat with us. When he said first that I had to be "fixed", my wife burst out laughing and said he isn't broken. Then he said that we had to be fixed, another burst of laughter from my wife, then he said he could help our son. As I stood up I told him that was the most hypocritical, sanctimonious and un-Christian thing I had heard in a long, long time..
A few weeks later our son died (I hate euphemisms such as somebody has "passed"). Passed what? Not GO, don't collect $200. Face it, they have died. We were offered grief counselling by the Clinic and thought why not, we have been down every other rabbit hole. A few minutes in to that meeting my wife asked: "Have you ever lost a child of your own?". The answer was no and she said it shows, empty platitudes from a text book don't cut it and that was that.
Grief is a journey and a long one sometimes. Back and forth through the various stages, often without warning or forethought. Keeping some notes of your feelings and experiences can help, so blank spaces are as useful as words. To this day a single word can rip open the thin scar that covers that wound and at other times I can talk freely and openly about the experience.
This post got a bit longer than intended but if you stuck with it this far, perhaps it will help you.
For those that think I am an angry atheist, I am not. I just don't believe. Too many errors, inconsistencies and many other flaws in the bible for me to embrace such a tomb without a shred of evidence. I spend my time with family, friends and in nature rather than sermons and Sunday best.

Ryan was stillborn at 8 1/2 months, and Jared was killed instantly by a falling tree at age 20. We still have two boys and a girl (ages 38, 28 and 29), but there will always be a part of us that will be sad.
I have no cold words of comfort to give you. I can only share with you what a friend who’s son was killed in a drive-by shooting shared with me: “You will never get over this, but the pain will fade.”

I think it's much more important to be a skeptic than an atheist, that is to learn to accept that we may be wrong about our beliefs, to analyze evidence, and to think logically. And once you have done all that (and think you know the truth), then you need to start over and keep doing it.
You can be a skeptic and an atheist, as the only requirement to be an atheist is to be skeptical of the God claim.

Just a suggestion/gentle criticism ... having an advertisement in the middle of the video without any proper transition is really jarring, and breaks the flow of the video pretty badly. I get that the $$ from those supports the channel, but I think the product would be better if you either introduced it ("Hey guys .
