My Ad Income Is Greatly Reduced These Days Thomas Sheridan is an Author, Artist, Film Maker and Satirist who has spent a life from Wall Street to the Jungles of South Asia attempting to discover the emerging-often elusive-mythology of modern humans within the present technology-saturated era. Heavily inspire by the work of Carl Jung, Bruno Bettelheim and Joseph Campbell, Thomas Sheridan has developed ‘Monomythic’ tool kits-which drawn upon all the mythologies of the world. So as to demonstrate that on a personal and collective level; these legends and stories contain within them a subconscious lexicon of wisdom and symbols that can help all of us overcome the personal and greater challenges we encounter in everyday life. By not giving birth and nurturing these timeless archetypes within us all, modern humans are at a loss when it comes to achieving personal and social Individuation. Or a rounding out of one’s purpose in life. Their dharma. Their Monomyth. Inside all of us reside a wizard, a warrior, a bard and a knight and by tapping into the power of these archetypes one can have a more fulfilling and creative life. Every challenge a quest. Every situation a saga. Every moment an adventure.

I was recently in the British museum and could not help but notice the amount of octopus and tentacle imagery used on the artifacts in the Minoan section.

Excellent information, Thomas. The Moon phases are the way to guide ourselves in harmony with Gaia and Her Correction. The sky doesn't lie.

The more I consider the Octopus video you did the other day, and the further comments you've added here, Thomas, the more I can see a lot of interesting meditations on the life of the octopi that live in the Pacific Ocean that surrounds my home...
But I did just have a chuckle at the prospect of tentacle-pOrn as sacred-art...

All of the original festivals were celebrated over a period of a week or so, if we look at the alignments at monuments that coincide with the festivals we see that they are aligned over a period of days where the actual festival would have been celebrated. Its the same for beltaine, lughnasadh and imbolc too.

I extend my attitude of gratitude to you to Thomas / so grateful to have discovered you and your generosity in sharing. I’ve been wondering how possible it is to think ourselves through our baggage. Any tips on getting in there and lightening the loads gratefully received 🙂 I’m looking forward to having some head space to think octopus 🐙

Hello Although the weather is getting too hot here in NSW, Australia when driving to work, I noticed the low fog too, its rare here!! What is most rare is the heat yesterday was a dry heat, like towards the dessert (I am coastal) and not humid. I always remember the Koran teach that we should look to the depths of the oceans for knowledge. I am the girl in Australia (originally from Middlesbrough), who has also been fascinated with learning about the incredible Octopus since February 2019. The climate of polarised views in the social climate here is most pronounced these days with so much anger (unresolved inner anger being projected out to the innocent). Let's hope the dogmatic energy fests implode with exhaustion and energies be focussed on acts of kindness instead - the little things count - to help someone smile. I have noticed, albeit my subjective opinion, many of the climate, and SJWs for example, are on sickness/disability pensions yet have so much ENERGY to make all this 'noise'. I am all for equality, but because it is a value I implement in my daily living, then one does not have to talk about it - just be it. I have learnt its better just to do a bit of voluntary work and people balance out with being shown the virtues of love. Hmmm, yeh, but then one has to balance the judgement that if one shows generosity, then one can be perceived as dum and exploitable also.

Two of my all time favorite bands (Norma Jean - Landslide Defeater and Veil of Maya - Members only) dropped their EPs in the last week. On the covers of both are octopus. Strange, I'm going with total subconscious with the art work. But who knows, both bands are heavily involved in esoteric agendas and so on. Beautifully crafted progressive metal

Amigo, I must state that which remains obvious to any who delves beneath the surface in researching the matter: Samhain is the unequivocal 'TRI NOX SAMANI' (I did not verify spelling, but you get the point...) of the Gaulish Coligny calendar. As I once occupied the station of head wizard of tungolcraeft ( star-knowledge ) and time-keeping within High Theodism -- serving the Gering Rice and its king, as well as the surrogate Norman, Frisian, Gothic leodes -- I had to get it right, for obvious reasons of both troth and thew.
Hallows / Samhain is a 3 night period whose dates on our calendars are different EVERY YEAR. Some years they occur in September. And some in November, or October. Those sensitive enough or with a sufficient awareness in the spirit realm will tell you that the end of October / start of November this year is SURELY NOT the festival. If we did a poll of your subscribers, asking when in the last two months did they feel an unmistakeably weird or strong full moon, you might begin to get a clue as to some relatively unknown phenomenon which underlies the festival and has its roots in the spirit world. A true bit of heathen maegen-craeft evolved from the knowing of such. The ignorant will tell you the festival is based on scorpio within the broken and demonstrably out-of-synch-with-nature system of western astrology, which is not indigenous European star-craeft, but a foreign import from Babylon and the middle east. The Theodish avoid such inappropriate and wrong error, being authentic retro-heathen and not modern or wicca syncretists.
    Spooks!
    F.

I’ve started with the full moon and am going to finish my celebration with the first quarter, I’m just doing things like candles going outside under moon , self introspection, tarot , reading and of course Halloween with the wifey and kiddos lol I’m still developing my pagan path and I don’t have any deities I really associate besides kali but not sure how to incorporate her into it yet

@@thomassheridanii2118 I've actually created my own trinity of Morrigan, Hekate, and Marzana. I see it as my own personal version of the Maiden, Mother, and Crone.
I've also got some Greek on my moms side so I feel very at home with the Hellenistic pantheon.

@@thomassheridanii2118 I venerate the Morrigan as an Autumnal or Transition Goddess that moves us from Summer to Winter. Then when the Snow Starts coming hard in November I switch to Marzana because her sphere is specifically that of Winter and Snow.

No Samhain in Italy till late 70s early 80s only lovely and dark macabre. celebrations "il giorno dei Morti". Similar to Latinos and day of the dead...I've always enjoyed more Northern European type of cultural beliefs...but the harvest is more paganish the Saturnalia and Epiphany is pretty colorful to enjoy...but i do like the idea of making your own Veil thinning type of holiday....just genius!

You mention the octopus again so in order to invoke this archetype I used the phrase "Gratitude for the octopus" to create a sigil and chant for a video. Power can be added to this by drawing the sigil in sand at the beach then repeating the chant as the tide takes it away. An alternative is to draw the sigil on cash money then spend it as a sacrifice to the octopus archetype.ruclips.net/video/eUTNQ5R_po0/видео.html
