Carol had a lot of good information Diazepam was the only thing that gave my father back his quality of life with his tremors and he was on them for 30 years or so. Hope you find what works for you so you can get your mobility back again and quality of life.
Hi Neil& Teresa! I've watched Carol before, she has logic and wit about her. I 100% agree, the targeting of pitches heard around the world about abusing it are not meant for chronic illness. We have to use it daily, dose up or down to find your sweet spot. As my MS doc says they are prescribed as Maintenance to control our symptoms. Thanks for sharing!! Avril
Hey Neil , That’s brilliant information from Carol (I’ve viewed a previous video from her about ms). Hopefully she’s been able to put your mind at rest . Take care , Grace x
Thanks Grace, yes she has very much. She’s very experienced in this condition as she’s had it a long time. So if Carol says a something works really well, that’s good enough for me😊x
Neil, Carol is awesome and informative, I do hope she has put your mind and fears to rest, 13 years I really think she knows what she is talking about. Take head my friend, and as she said, go for it. All the best!
Neil, Carol is wonderful! She must have helped you so much with her video! I couldn't have said it better (Haha) and agree with everything she said and mentioned aout Diazepam. And a good mobility is cheering us up, isn't it? Have a wonderful evening,
Hi Britta, yes she’s a star and so kind to record a video like that. Oh for sure, when my mobility is good it makes me feel great, but the opposite is also true. Take care.
Hi Christine, the Eagles are great aren’t they. Sadly Carol Dance the lovely lady in this video seems to have closed down her channel. I can’t seem to find any trace of her now, such a shame as she’s such a clever and intelligent person. I hope she pops up again somewhere. I hope this message finds you well Christine, take care now.
I'm sat here watching Carol's video laughing my head off at at Carl sing "Green Sleeves" on her bed, demonstrating how her leg jerks at night. What do you sing, Neil? ;)
Neil I've been experience with Focalin it's a med for ADHD which my 13y son has , someone I know told me to try it for fatigue ,wow I've taken it for 2days mentally I feel great fatigue is gone way down ,I'm going to ask my doctor to prescribe it to me
Hi Chris, if this is working for you and nothing else does then that’s great. Looks like this drug is targeted specifically at children with ADHD so definitely consult your Dr for advice. Good luck.
This is a little off the topic, I have never had this medication before. But with my neuropathy in my left leg I have this strange skin sensitivity across the top of my foot and toes like the skin has been shaved and the nerves are exposed. I also get this feeling like my toes are across over each other but they are not, they same thing happens with my legs they feel like they're crossed but they are straight next to each other it's not a good feeling. They feel like they are losing circulation but at the same time they are numb so strange. Thank you for your videos and all the info you they provide 😊💜
I know those horrible sensations all too well Amanda. It is pretty much the same for me too, it is caused by nerves short circuiting as a result of damage to the insulation (myelin sheath). This damage will have been done by the MS (if you’ve been diagnosed).
Hello you 2, just checking in. I had the most evil restless leg this morning. I got up at 01.00am and thought a walk up the road would be a good idea, not a great idea when my right leg is trying to be 3 paces ahead doing Riverdance. So came home and did the housework, hoovering the lot. Struggled with that. Thought of you 2 when I was doing the housework. I have taken usual meds but a bit more than normal, so feel a bit woozy, so sorry if I am typing backwards. How do you keep slim on meds, I am starting to look like something out of Dr Who. Not sure what exercises there is really. When I can work, it falls off, but being all most housebound, it worries me and I do take an aspirin as I don't want a DVT. ( Worked in a hospital for 16 years) Hope you both are well, and Neil say hello to Teresa when she eventually gets up 🤣🤣
Hey Mark, yeah Teresa eventually got up about 9am lol 😆 I’m am early bird, well truth is I can’t stay in bed for long periods of time as the pain in my legs force me to get up. Like you, I do actually find walking about helps with the twitching legs. One thing I’ve learned for me personally is I have to keep moving about otherwise I seize up. Always nice to hear from you Mark, I (we) hope you are also keeping as well as can be. Btw Teresa also read your message and cracked up laughing at your “eventually gets up” comment😂 Take it easy matey.

Thank you for this. I've been on 2 mg three times a day for spasticity. Initially I was on 2.5 mg three times a day.
You’re welcome Christine, I hope it works for you. I’m now taking Clonazepam for spasticity which seems to be working quite well.

PS I was like you regarding tizanidine. I have a lot of it in my cabinet but others do well with it.

Years ago I went to see the eagles and yes they’ sang that song 🙂

Good to see you posting another one of your videos ... hang in!
Thanks Spencer.
