  • Nobody truly enjoys timing belt jobs as they are usually timely and risky endeavors...not for the faint of heart. In the Auto Obsessive Garage, nearly all of projects need this highly necessary service, so it's more like a common theme here.

    Shoulda replaced cam and cranks seals, oil pump gasket.

      That’s a fair suggestion, but usually I’m faced with limited time. It’s not too hard to access either of those, so I tend to replace them once they start to leak. Truth be told, if I had the time I would have also done the head gasket and intake manifold just to future proof the car. Again though, you gotta draw the line somewhere.
