Totally disregarding the purpose of a lens hood and focusing only on whether it fits in your bag. Brilliant commentary.
Yes, the video is titled "why I don't use a lens hood" not "why you shouldn't use a lens hood".
Bro must be flare blind because how do you make a video like this and not mention flare at all.
@@NelsonLovellhe likes the flares on the photos. He said in on another video.
Nah, lens hoods are needed, protecting & anti flare... ☑️

I wasnt using the lens hood recently but after seeing my photos had lens flare i quickly put it back on.

Lens flare says high.
It really depends on your subject matter and style whether you need or not. And I don’t know to many people who base this question on whether it fits my gear bag.
Optically speaking, lens hoods don't add much to the equation. You might, in certain situations, get a slightly less ghosty and slightly more contrasty image. Lens flare can be solved by shading the lens with you hand if you mist shoot directly into a light source. I rarely use lens hoods.
There are some of these rubber pop up lens hoods, they're not that good but it does the trick if you really need one.
I simply bought a bag where I could leave the hood on, and bought filters that fit on with the hood. Then I can protect my lens and get better photos with the hood and still do everything else. But each to their own, I know I'm going to catch the end of the lens and I dont want the hit anywhere near the front element so thats why I made it happen.
Try a Porta Brace bag. They are long. So, can put the camera with the lens attached in the bag. The dual zippers make it easy to get the camera in and out.
+Image quality matters at the top level.
+Your bag is too small.
Bruh xD
"uhh boy" his heart fell off at that moment
I feel Like the only places where lens hoods are worth the effort it takes to store them is in wedding photography and wildlife photography. Both benefit greatly from clean composition with no glare.
How do you clean your lens? Can you make a tutorial on it? Or there is one already.
I never use them for the same reason
Oh boy 😅
The hood does add bulk, but maybe get a different filter?
Looking at some lens filters. Both cpl and vnd. My final decision is between k&f and URTH. URTH is on the slightly more expensive side but I'm more interested in quality for those two. Which one should i choose?
Who changes lenses often? I think last time I changed from my 55-200 was a few months ago taking pics of the northern lights.
U look like the hero in the Paradise movie - Kostja Ullmann .
Still waiting for a dji air 3. review
I really need a 70 to 200... Have to get this R5C paid off first though
i've been looking into a 70 - 200 dor my 5d2 but can only afford 2nd hand one at most, any advice ? :|
Can anyone tell me how to deal with low contrast image bcz of light polution around?
Other than using CPL cz rotating the CPL to get sharper image is slow (except if i shoot landscape)
And lately ive been thinking to get lens hood, it is faster but adding more volume on carrying
Which bag do you use?
buy ND filter that can be attached with lens hood
This is like one of those late night commercials where people make drama out of doing something simple to sell their point. Very small adjustments to your habits would resolve these "problems". You just don't like using them, be honest.
huh were u not teh same guy who said use lens hood
How do you get so much gear to review? 😅
The lens hood just one of the most important things in photography. And you really use round screwing nd filters?? Omg
Lens hood with long lenses will make you look like pro even you dont know is shutter speed and ISO speed
The lenses like 70-300mm 200mm
Honestly if u have a lens like that u should know what ure doing. If not, not good!
Bro must be flare blind because how do you make a video like this and not mention flare at all.
Who cares?!? More desperate for content filler…
There are solutions to every one of your "problems" Try putting a little more effort into checking them out before sharing such a silly take.
I think your videos are more about problems ,but not on there solutions , think about that...
What a dope.
Don't use a filter adapter; use one that fits!
Try begging professional or stfu
Not sure what you mean?
