@@Cutana I believe Zorrely meant "Audio" and not "audio". I rekon that he regrets Audio's recordings departing from the sound of "To the edge of reason"
I'm gonna go against the grain here and say none of audios new releases are doing it for me. I absolutely love audio but I can't get in to his lastest stuff. He's lost his signature sound. The way he arranged his drums was always amazing, his bass lines always flowed so good etc, but that seems to have gone now. For someone who has been a big fan of audio literally since the start, I can't help but be a little disappointed with these new releases. They're good, they're clean AF, but they're not audio for me 😢
honestly agree, but i dont think its audio. I think its nuerofunk in general has had a shift towards this much more choppy, technically impressive but cant dance to it at all feel. It feels very much to me like tracks are made to be double and triple dropped now, rather than just being good pieces of music on their own. I was having this exact discussion with my friend yesterday. They have lost a lot of the layers and complexity of arrangement that they once had, in favor of a more formulaic sound that slots easily into the mix. A.M.C has said on many occasions that he makes music this way, and thats why i love his mixes but i cant listen to any of his tracks on their own. I think its a case of, if this song is just going to be triple blended anyway, then theres not really any need for them complex layers that are just going to be drowned out or faded anyway. Nuero used to take me on a journey and give me very visual and real emotions. Like take Andy C - Haunting for example as a random song from a random playlist i just pulled up. It feels like im on a journey through a wormhole that eventually spits me out into a war like im a special forces unit behind enemy lines. What does the fang make me feel? the intro is really nice and atmospheric, like a mad scientist experiment that is about to go horribly wrong. Like frankenstein has just come alive and is losing control.. and then the drop happens and its like wait what? that whole feeling is shattered and replaced with utterly random sounds
@@gibble7863 you make a lot of good points on why a lot of stuff sounds the same or homogeneous your random track brought back good memories so to return the favour here's another random one i remember fondly, that takes you on a journey, like you mentioned: insideinfo - honey bee (audio remix) i was lucky enough to listen to that played live and goddamn, what a great night out that was... good times
Great track !
Can't wait for the album, so hyped !!!!!
This track is FUCKING sick AF! 🔥🤘🔥
WTF!!!
Truly inceptionatic
🔥🔥
Soundtrack of the post apocalyptic future. Smart to drop the album when Fallout is launching on Prime.
Yeah now I'm waiting really bad for April 19th 😑
Się ya 😈
Is that picture of a cyborg LTJ Bukem
I like the bit between 1:46-1:48 but otherwise this is the least fav so far for me, too scattered. Second drop is much better btw.

We want audio quality and drum and bass from 15 years ago.
You guys are never satisfied anyways
missing the filth, artifacts and mono sounds? audio in general has never been cleaner...

@@burndav yes I know. Still the same. Technical possibilities change the sound and style.
