I have a pretty insane survival mode castle, done solo. So every block was mined by me, plus I had to clear out a giant area to make a flat plain. Maybe I'll post it when it's done. I've been working on it for a really long time, not to mention most of the time was spent just doing other stuff like gathering nearly 20 blocks of diamond to make a throne.

last time I checked, command blocks were not in survival. You couldn't build with bedrock either.
