I'm just now realizing Gwen forgot the lyrics in this live performance! LOL Every singer has this issue at least once in their careers! LMBO! I gotta give her props for keeping it moving without missing a beat. The show must always go on! That's just what the professionals do!
It was the Vandals song... There was a time when Gwen was affiliated with Cali punk scene with the 3rd wave ska-punk hybrid happening then. 90s was great...
its on the vandals christmasalbum ( the original people who made the song) i 100% recommend the album...with classic songs such as "christmas time for my penis" and "Hang myself from the tree" Its a really good album lol..the entire album is meant as a comedy album..they do a concert every year if im not mistaken where they play the entire album and they dont take it seriously at all...they even say the album isnt funny and its a stupid fucking album lol
Anyone who has listened to No Doubt back in the day know's they are a ska-punk band, but the teenagers now probably have no idea and lump them in with the rest of the pop crap that is featured at shows like the IHeartRadio music festival.
Eh... Yeah I think No Doubt took the song up a major notch but who the fuck would write a track like this if not the Vandals? I mostly agree but just sayin'... let's give credit where credit is due.
This was the No Doubt I used to love to see live :(... God I hate modern pop music. As a side note I've always wanted to jack that sick explorer guitar :P
I'm proud to be one of the fans who knows about their ska-punk origins. I wrote and presented a paper on their evolution as a sound using Total Hate as a music sample... People were like, oh weird, I thought they were a pop-rock band. Ugh.
Can't believe their was actually a time period where this kind of music was played live on TV. What happened!?!?
The next big money making thing became hegemonic. Easy as that.
People stopped watching TV. Everyone watches everything on the internet now.
And it was GLORIOUS
Millennials took over and destroyed the planet.
i made my mom play this at christmas, me and my sisters danced. :)

i miss NO doubt..
Miss this Gwen but we all have the right to evolve our styles
This should’ve been on Gwen’s Christmas album lol
ROFL can you imagine? Assuming Gwen's Christmas album came out like 10+ years after this when she was in pure pop celeb mode.
@@kevinswift8654 No Doubt wants nothing to do with her now

Back when Gwen was an iconic skater punk chick singer, and not another pop hack diva.
this is so much better than the vandals version
I'm a huge Vandals fan so that should've hurt but the fact is... it's true. :'(
Eh... Yeah I think No Doubt took the song up a major notch but who the fuck would write a track like this if not the Vandals? I mostly agree but just sayin'... let's give credit where credit is due.
I agree
Go skins!

Vandals rulez!
Hey it would be cool to read your paper. No Doubt rules!!!
This was the No Doubt I used to love to see live :(... God I hate modern pop music. As a side note I've always wanted to jack that sick explorer guitar :P
Also, both bands are from Orange County so it's highly likely that they knew each other.
Yep, Warren from the Vandals produced the recorded version and he went on to play guitar in Gwen's touring band for her solo career!
oh yes thats skins or punx -.-
What is this hair on Gwen lol, I've never seen thst style on her
0:58 knocked him to his knees? Its hard to remember every lyric when you're performing live
the only part I understand is when she sings the chorus....
oi! to the punx oi! to the skins
OI TO THE WORLD AND EVERYBODY WINS!
they do not play this song better than the vandals dont get me wrong no doubt does a good job
2:17 Trevor called his bluff, and knocked him to his knees? Okay gwen, it's more than normal.
