Honestly I hate that Vanessa can catch us only at ONE place at ONE moment and then barely shows up. Similar to Vanny. Vanessa, in my opinion, should walk over the entire pizzaplex, at least only in public places for guests.
Well apparently she's supposed to and it's a bug preventing her from spawning. Supposedly there's an inbuilt timer each time you enter a location, when the timer is up Vanny is supposed to spawn and come find you

The thing is I had her spawn in the garbage area after acquiring chicas voice box.
I decided to scout the area first to see where what was before activating the generator.
Then as soon as I didn’t screen went all interference mode and for the entire event Vanny was 2 steps behind me. The most creeped out/scared I’d been the whole game.
They NEED to fix her coding because in some areas she’s petrifying

@@lacklinotter1017 That is not how games or game engines work. I have used UE4 and unity, and there is no way to do that unintentionally. You have to create your own mechanic.

I just find it so odd that Vanny and Vanessa have 2 different voice actresses… like I guess they could be throwing us off, or it could mean nothing but I find it so odd! I really do feel like they aren’t the same person.

I definitely think it was intentional. Vanny could be trying to get closer to Gregory by pretending to be Vanessa in some parts of the game. I think Vanessa was captured. That would explain how she suddenly appears in one of the endings.

vanessa is a security guard who spends the night looking for you bc you’re a minor in the pizzaplex after hours. it’s implied through one of the endings that the girl inside the vanny costume may be vanessa’s twin sister; with both of them looking almost exactly the same but vanessa has green eyes while vanny has yellow eyes. vanessa seems to just be doing her job so she’s most likely a good person

You forgot the other ending when Gregory went to Vanny's room and Vanny almost caught him, Gregory pressed the button to order the security bots to "Dissamble Vanny" and the security bots brutally ripped off of her because remember she's a human not an animatronic. And then, Gregory found Freddy who is broken and Freddy said: "Gregory, you are my superstar." As his last words

Now if we look at it the same way Afton got the children's souls: The Vanessa you see on the roof top could simply be her soul being trapped behind in the Pizzaplex, i mean there's a huge fire behind her and she's more concerned with looking down at you, instead of sprinting down the stair next to her and get to safety before seeing her doppelganger. I theorize that scene with Vanessa is only to throw you off, as the franchise always does.
Another thing is that Vanessa is the ONLY human other than Greg to be (officially) present in the Pizzaplex at night time, this could suggest she was brainwashed by Afton as many theorize, but in the form of a sleeper agent for Afton as she's not aware of Vanny, who happens to also have high security clearance. Judging from the "best" ending, the arcade machine is what allows the brainwash effect to take place, and of course removed when Greg beaten the game.
My theory on how the arcade machine is the source of the brainwashing is seen through how Afton tried to take control of Freddy: through a monitor. He doesn't need to interact with the device at all to take over Freddy, but you may ask how he could influence Vanessa. Here's the thing: she has a communication device with her, so Afton can just transmit the signal through the arcade machine to Vanessa's device and when she's not near, through nearby robots and/or surveillance but with the arcade as the original sender.
The best ending might be cool, but remember Afton is still there and could influence any (future) security staffs. So true ending is the real best ending, even if we don't get to have ice cream with Vanessa.
the Vanessa ( bad ending) seems like her soul is trapped in hell forever. the fire on the building is like a symbolism of hell to me.
If she was in the pizzaplex somehow, her body should have released remnant after her death, and her corpse was nowhere near the inside of the pizzaplex, and even if the remnant somehow got inside the building she would have died, because remnant gets destroyed by high temperatures
Hmm I guess it is possible that Vanessa was posing and disguising herself as Vanny since it was a female bunny costume for her to wear while the real Vanny is a supernatural animatronic like Glitchtrap is. I could be wrong about that, but that's my own theory, so it's not 100% accurate though.
Also, Vanessa's jumpscare doesn't seem to be that scary or creepy, aside from Gregory shaking and then screaming after he was grabbed by her, but the jumpscare from her looks nice though. This is the first time that we see a human character officially doing a jumpscare since the animatronics and humanoid robots usually do those themselves when they attack the player.

Vanny and Vanessa are the same person, albeit being controlled by William Afton when she was "infected" btw Glitchtrap when she beta tested the VR game. Essentially she wants to find Gregory and had locked him up as she's aware of her Vanny side but is too scared of Afton to do anything about it. that was the original plot implied by the feburary trailer but its been changed for the final release, you need to look into various hidden stuff like the scattered tapes and one of the secret endings for context

I don’t like the relationship between vanny and Vanessa. Her arc was definitely scraped based off the one liner of disappearances in Gregory has the choice of leaving, staying for spring, or vanny. Nothing else mentions it except the newspaper in the bad ending. And in the trailer there’s so much more dialogue solidifying a diff roll for Vanessa other than antagonist. Her function in the trailer is basically the same as Freddie’s in the game. And despite it being obvious that vanny and Vanessa being the same person, 2 endings have them being diff ppl, or Vanessa sharing an ice cream cone. Like wtf? Vanessa isn’t doing either job as a security guard or vanny in the best ending, she Willy nilly let’s Gregory keep the Freddy head, at best u say it’s cuz Freddy is malfunctioning. But u shouldn’t cuz the story doesn’t explicitly say it.
??? Vanessa and Vanny are the same person yes but Vanny is more like an alter ego. The Therapy Tapes are the biggest piece of evidence for this.
In the best ending, Vanessa is no longer under the influence of Glitchtrap, and thus, no longer fears betraying his will. Glitchtrap WANTED her there so he could spread his virus. Also I’m p sure in the Freddy Head Ending the Staff Bots destroy Freddy :p

the clues we found out yet is pointed the vanessa, is vanny, but in the emergency exit end, it's prove this theorie wrong again, the end credit scene shows vanessa watching on the roof

1:vanessa is vanny
proof:in the lost found her cam glitch into vanny, the name, why the jumpscare kills you
twist:she seemed wanna help Gregory in trailer, the emergency escape ending.
2.vanessa and vanny probably twins
proof:she probably knows about vanny, so she look shocked(or terrified)in the emergency escape ending, and this is probably the reason why she's wanna get you, and she didn't immediately kill you in cg, she puts you in lost found, and vanny found out so she's keeping Gregory in lost found so that's why she can found Gregory fast.
and if she is controlled by glitchtrap, it's explained why vannesa won't kill you, vanny does(maybe their personality was different)
twist:vanessa said Gregory name in alot of quotes, but we can't see vanny saying or knowing Gregory's name at all(this is usable in theory 1 too). and we still cannot know about her eye color, even we know they're very similar, but you can't just watch the hair color and proof she's Vanessa's sister.
they have alot not similar place, unlike vanny, we can see vanessa is trying help Gregory, but the only thing vanny do is trying to kill you(maybe controlled by glitchtrap I think)

Okay, that’s what I thought. That screeching sound during jumpscares is Gregory, considering the noise still happened when he got the white woman jumpscare™. Turns out he is equally afraid of women as murderous robots

All the remaining questions that I still dont have any answers for: 1) Why is Gregory guest profile unknown? 2) How come Freddy is unable to connect to the main network if he's not affected with the Glitchtrap virus also what really happened to him while performing? 3) Why does Gregory says "It's her, she cut you off" (A theory with this is that Glitchtrap need the soul of a kid to complete the transfer into a new body and he infected Vanessa who was the main protagonist in the previous VR game and gets physically infected with a new personality "Vanny" and so Gregory is just a random kid that was targeted by Vanny but I was told that this was not it because of the dialogue in the game... forgot what was the exact passage)...
