I recently tried TGIN mask based on your recommendation and plan to try Mielle as well. I use Melanin multi purpose oil and I love it, thanks for keeping it real. KoilsByNature try to deep condition before you twist! Also for twisting use a very moisturizing cream or leave in ( I recommend the African pride moisture miracle leave in) and some type of oil or butter to seal ( any oil, I love the almond jai twisting butter) . GOOD LUCK!

Also can you tell me how you part so well, in the shower. I try and it always lead to breakage when I'm trying to detangle because it's from a piece of hair that I put up.
I part with my nails. Your leave in should not slide off your hair though. Your hair should be soaking wet when you apply and your hair should soak the product up.
After styling (twist) do you wear a scarf to sleep in overnight or is this a process that should be done in the am before starting your day? Sorry for asking what may seem like a obvious question 🙄 I’m new to doing twist with my natural hair....xoxo

So do you switch from butters to creams in the summer then? I just used the Camille Rose almond butter (and CR Honey leave in) for the first time and my hair loves it! I’m just scared what’ll happen when I finally go outside in this heat!
I recommend wearing it for a longer period of time (around 1 hour) or you can get a thermal hair cap or put the plastic bag on and allow the steam from the shower to penetrate ❤️
There are benefits from rinsing from cold and hot water. I have low porosity and I finish eating out my conditioner with cool water 🚿 because of the fact that it gives so much shine and definition. My hair is super moisture trained so after deep conditioning with heat I dint have a problem rinsing with the cold water. With having height porosity it’ll help preserve moisture in your hair that you need. But it does reduce the amount of volume. Hope they helped😊
Hey boo.. I'm low❤po and high po. Crys how do you keep them from bn flat? Do you sit under dryer b4 trying them up? I think I need a professional cut bcus i cut my tailbone length to bra strap bcus of severe heat damage. I've been growing it out but now I have 2 porosity low in top and high along the shaft and ends. I think ima get a funky cut and start a vlog big chop to tailbone journey.

I use butters & creams throughout the year. I more so alter the type of product based on thickness, the oil I seal with & my washing process

No, it didn’t. But you may be using a tad bit too much bc it is heavy. That may be why.

You may also need a protein treatment. But I let my hair air dry for a little bit or sit under the dryer before I put on my bonnet
