This is one for the most underrated videos in the world i don’t even know how many times I’ve watched this probably 20 or 30 times
I use 1/2 inch on 0 gauge and it works better than 3/4 because 3/4 you can see through it half inch you can't see the wire underneath that is good because it's tighter the looser the more see through it makes it.... GREAT DESCRIPTION EXPLANATION AS USUAL ONE OF THE BEST ON RUclips THANK YOU DEAN!!
Had to revisit this video because I’m doing my first install soon. D and F tool drawer came in handy!
AWESOME DEAN!!!
This would go great in a playlist like Car Audio Tools and Supplies!
This helped me out so much... and it's not even stereo related !.. im making a custom harness for the nitrous kit in my truck.... thank you for your time helping people like myself
Fantastic video!!! Best I've ever seen with plenty of useful information. Thank you!!!
Thank you Dean, very informative answered my questions in braided loom
I wish retailers could put together and sell kits of these items that might be needed for just a one-vehicle install, e.g., just enough braided loom and heat shrink tubing for an amp, a harness, speaker/sub wires, etc. I'm a DIY guy who might install something once every few years. I feel like if I wanted to use these items, I would have to buy way more product than I need. If there was such a thing as a one-vehicle kit with the most commonly used items, I would buy just such a kit.
This honestly just played after something else I watched, but it was super informative. Now I have knowledge that I might not ever use, but was a joy to receive lol!
Good job explaining a dry topic. I used 1/4 for a fuel pump harness and was cursed for not having some 3/8. Would have been so much better. Like you mentioned the wires were tight and not happy. Ended up replacing that section.
Another cracking video my friends. Love it
Thank you Dean
I really really really enjoyed this video
Great tip covering heatshrink 4 colours to correspond with speaker location and use of rca plugs!
keep up the good work guys!
Perfect! Thank you for this video!
This is awesome, always wanted to know all the little things that you guys use in an install. I think it would be valuable information to find out where you guys ground each system to, as not every car is the same... As boring as a ground wire sounds, it's one of the most important pieces to an install, so any information on how you guys install the ground wire would be beneficial. Thank you.
Good teaching Dean
Master of your craft.
Great video Dean.
Great info! Thanks for sharing.
I'm running the Memphis dual 8g speaker wire for my subs. It's also marine grade wire
Really would like to see more products reviews like speaker , subs , and amps
Thanks for your videos
Now I know what I need to order.👍
Very informative video!
This was awesome!!! Thank you!!!!!!!!!

Very informative!👍🏽👍🏽
Very helpful thank you
Great video thank you
Thank you for the video hermano
Could you also go over all of the different power cables and speaker cables color and wire gauge please and thank you
Thank you, very helpful and informative.
Ever used the Dymo Rhino label printer which can print labeled shrink wrap?
Yes we have one
Thanks for the video. Do you usually use techflex braided sleeving or the one from electriduct? Any differences between them?
Please Do some cheaper dsp like the mini dsp or dayton audio dsp and maybe go more indepth I love learning from you guys and have been a great help for a diy
Yes we know. We have the Dayton, we just need to film it. The DSR1 is not that crazy a price. We do have 2 videos on that.
I had a bit of flex loom so I had to ration it. Everything else got Tesa tape.
What about split loom sizing?
Dean is secretly a hand model.
Thank you
Could you go over all the different wires that you use or if you've already gotten over it put a link in your next video please and thank you
You don't need a hot knife for the split loom. I cut with scissors then melt ends with a lighter. No more fray.
We did that too in the beginning. The hot knife is worth the investment
Can someone tell me how the Kenwood dmx905s handles a lot of bass? Looking at getting one for my daily bass ride but im looking at doing over 150 so i wanna make sure it wont poop out for a good while
What size wire loom and heat shrink would I use for 2/0 awg cable?
Where is Fernando? That was very interesting, thank you!
He was helping a customer
What about the white clock on the wall???
What size plastic wire loom fits a 1/0 gauge wire?
Great Video !!!! One other Question that wasn’t answered, does your Supplier Print your Logo Heat Shrink aswell ?????
We use Wire care for that. The link is in the description
Thank you very Much Dean

We just have gray and white. Speed wire has all the colors. We also make our own twisting primarily wire with black.
4:10 whoops, take 2, or 3?
Come again ?
At what point in this 9 hour video do you actually answer the question?
Excellent video but doesn't help a metric guy :'(
Wtf inch 😠
Yeah wtf? Like wtf you don't know how to use Google? Inch to mm? Very easy to complain without doing any work yourself.
