Straight out of the box, these things are neat. I put a 900mah FMS battery in mine, and I walked 4.5 km with it, and stopped to do a bit of crawling in mud...and it still had herbs. FairRC have pre weathered versions for sale, if that matters to you. Its a great for an entry level vehicle for someone new to the hobby. Also, love your channel, your content really tickles my pickle

That body is 👌🏻. Needs to be dirty with some rust. Glad FMS is catering to the scx24 guys.

You should always turn the radio on first, that way you don’t get a runaway vehicle
That thing is in need of some RC4WD tires, some BFGs, or some Patagonias would be awesome on it.
Out of the box, chassis for chassis (no body), I believe this is more capable than the scx24. This should be a good platform stock for those that want to just play around with wheels, tires, and bodies. Quality scale trail style builds to come I hope.

At this point I just wish companies like fms would release bodies only as no one cares about the stock rig underneath 😂
We’re all gonna throw a furitek combo, ditch the 2sp trans and put high clearance links as soon as we got our hands on these trucks.
Or maybe just buy the bodies and make them fit on your current 24s with mazz or karnage chassis. Would just need a set of custom length links 🙄
Hopefully Lgrp makes some 50-54 mm tires for these little guys

Rig looks great, I can’t figure out why they go to the trouble of making such a quality rig and then use velcro to secure the body.
😅 The velcro actually holds pretty well... cheap option I guess

Are you controlling the slow speed manually, or does it have a foc of some sort? If it's the esc doing it then wow, very nice
Just normal manually by barely touching the trigger

Can you tell me the gear ratio of this transmission?
Apparently the skid plate mount holes are the same as the scx24, and I'm wondering if i can drop this transmission into an scx24 OR if the gear ratio will be totally off, and be too slow for even overdrive axles to fix.

If you wanna find tires that fit the Batrazzi or stock rims yer screwed. The 0.8 and 0.9 rim sizes won’t fit anything in the normal 1in tire size. So we are kinda stuck with Fair RC stock tires unless you want dinky 0.7s from RC4WD ? 🫨🤷
