@@maximrobertjacolino7745 You don't even know the difference between ITF and ATP, a 200 ITF player is a player who got stuck at the qualy stage of the ITF world tour... There is only 1 player younger than him inside the top 200 ATP ranking, Ben Shelton, who btw played college Tennis and was also ranked 1. Stop making up stuff, you didn't even read OPs question. Nobody is saying he's gonna be the next Federer, I am saying at this moment he is good enough for challengers, and has a UTR of a player inside the top 400. He could progress and get better and get to the top 100 but that's up to him. UTR matters not ranking in the NCAAs, since those guys barely play tournaments outside NCAA ones.
Is this Matteo Berrentini's son? Sadly it's been 20 years since an American Man won a grand slam and will probably be at least another 20 until we win won if ever again.
He was ranked 620 two years ago, but stopped to focus on college tennis. He won't be humbled his UTR is 14.07 that's the same as guys inside the top 400 in the world.
@@davidgpz UTR doesnt mean anything at a high level and top 400 is really nothing in the grand scheme of tennis. even then, former #1s in college who tried to "go pro" barely even made the top 500. tons of top challenger players and high ranked ITF players dont make it far on the ATP either. furthermore even a top 100 atp player represents the top 0.001% of college+ players and barely makes anything. tennis is a humbling sport regardless of where you stand and especially at someone trying to climb their way up from ncaa
@@rhoclouds Why are you implying he's gonna be the next ATP Star, I never said anything like that I am stating the fact that players who have a UTR of over 14 are Challenger Level players. All these guys were College players at some point and they all made it. Eliot could have a career at the ATP tour, maybe not Top 50, but he's got potential, he's beaten many Challenger players.
he actually won the atp US open boys doubles title in 2019 lmao. but that's usually how it works dude, he'll continue to grind in college before shifting his main focus to the pro circuit

Wrist injury from overuse or previous (bad) technique?
His Forehand is Money! Very clean and efficient, love it!
I dont think you can get to that level with bad technique. Off? yes but not bad

Will be top 100 ATP in a couple of years. Will be solid tennis player with good atp career.
I wouldn’t say that so confidently. The jump from college tennis to the tour is massive.

There are 5 guys from the US, all of them younger than him, ranked top 200 in the ITF. He's ranked 600+. So, NCAA is nothing compared to ITF.

It's sad how most top college players are very average at best in the pros. It just shows you how it's a completely different game / level of play.
I just met him when I went to the camp he coach’s (helps out with) on these same courts
Maybe another Agassi in the making.
Wish him luck
Watch him get the ITF and watch how humbled he will get quickly
