    Mark, Sunny here in the good old USA. Your work and teaching tutorials just get better and better. In these last water tutorials how to paint waves in 3 parts I have improved tremendously my own work. Every small detail that you show us is very beneficial and we thank you for very much for it.

    So many tips that Mark gives are fantastic and make it so simple (with a bit of practice). Can't recommend his videos, workshops, recipe books and their downloadable courses over on their website enough.

    I hope you’re keeping well Mark. I really enjoy your videos and have bought your recipe book and some DVDs because I really want to master painting water, so thank you for all your tutorials. I do hope you post a Part 3 to this as I would love to see how it’s finished!

    • @ExploreAcrylics

      Thanks Sheila! There won't be a Part 3 on this one as it's a background for a workshop coming up which won't be filmed. However we put a card at the end to our recent banksia tutorial which you could easily add over the top of this background :) There's a few other videos on painting coastal foliage floating around on the channel too which would work well too. Cheers Mark W.

    j'adore le bord de mer, ces jolies vagues qui viennent mourir sur le sable. Vous les représentez vraiment bien, tout ce bleu, le ciel, la mer on aimerait se promener sur une si jolie plage, vous utilisez aussi de grande contenance pour vos peintures vos toiles sont grandes, j'aime beaucoup cette couleur d'un vert clair, presque transparent avant le sable félicitations Nadine

    Is all ocean water suppose to go from blue to green? I live in Canada and our water generally doesn’t have the bright green in the shallow areas. I’m not sure what colour to do the shallower water on a sunny day.
    On a cloudy day, our water looks dark green with lighter brownish green in the shallow, but on a sunny day, the shallow parts just look like a lighter blue, but maybe my eyes aren’t seeing the right colour.

    • @ExploreAcrylics
      @ExploreAcrylics  Год назад +1

      No, it really does depend where you are, time of day, etc etc :) This is just a starting point for you and nothing beats your own observation powers! Take loads of photos from all different angles and then just try mixing colours and matching as best you can! Good luck :)

    may I know why your acrylic palate is not dry ? Do you add anything mix with it ?

    • @ExploreAcrylics
      @ExploreAcrylics  2 года назад

      It's mainly the paint I use - Atelier Interactive dries in a different way from "normal" acrylics so it takes longer to dry. I sometimes use "Unlocking Formula" to re-open it, but generally if it's covered up after a painting session it will stay pretty mobile. I just use a bit of water to help it travel generally.
