    Useful advice. Give your birds respect and kindness; but tell them from time to time that they don't run the show.

      Get the plastic spray bottle from the store the one people use for plants for example fill it with water and spray above the bird so it will feel like a rain you can also spray on the bird but not too close keep little distance so the water pressure is not so strong the bird will dry and clean itself

      Fill a flatter bowl or a container of WARM water, and put some lettuce in it (prevents slipping and encourages them to touch the water), and lightly splash the water with your finger so your bird can see there's water in it and thinks you're bathing. I do this for both my birds

    And remember never never point at them.

      why?

    • @Followthechariot
      @Followthechariot 2 месяца назад +15

      @@ДмитрийШилков-т5э Because when you point a finger at them close up it's a sign of aggressiveness to them and it scares them. I owned and raised cockatiels for 45 years and all of them didn't like the finger pointed at them. When you curl your pointing finger in it doesn't bother them or if you point your finger away from them for them to step up it's okay but straight out at them they don't like it and it stresses them out.

      Cockatiels!

    • @Arsenic71
      @Arsenic71 2 месяца назад +5

      That is the entirely wrong question. "cheap" is the worst criterion. Much rather, let the bird pick you. If the bird likes you, you can buy it (even though you shouldn't because birds belong in nature, free-flying in their natural habitat!!).
