After many years, I'm finally ready and purchased FL Studio. Nearly shed a tear of gratitude for this video cause I struggle with just reading instructions. You've helped me enjoy a very long desire to produce techno.
Could I recommend adding Chapters to your longer videos? It would help people find exactly what there looking for or skip past parts they might already know how to do.
Never finish ur song at the first day NEVER. Because your ears can misleading you….Next day when you listen to project again you will hear a lot of problems with your project then you can fix the issue and release it. PS: good track bro keep up the great work.
One disclaimer with this xD Don't stay on a track for too long, cause in the end u might just hate listening to it on repeat thinking somethings not it and delete it. been there, done it.
This sounds more like late 90's Techno, todays producers are much more sophisticated. It is a good foundation to learn on but the production level today is just on another level
@@xXxRK0xXx Like I said it is a good foundation, I wish I had access to this kind of information when I wanted to learn it. Todays producers are in a very high level, a good foundation is not going to be enough.

19:55 do NOT randomly remove notes from a 303 pattern. rests sound awkward on a 303, they give a pronounced start-stop feeling. instead, simply add a glide while staying on the same note. this will effectively prolong the duration of the note, so you have a held note instead of a marked rest. it will also give you a satisfying little squelch on the longer note.
I made a techno song on FL studio when I was 10 even if I never listened to techno... until now (20+ years later) - this makes me wanna make techno lol.
Techno sounding is indeed easy, Having a Techno vision in another dimension and with soul is a hole other story , if it was indeed easy many would be able to finish a song or an album, but they can't
@@Italliving true I'm just speaking from production side once you know how your DAW Works and have mastered a genre it is really easy to transfer that knowledge to other genres :)
even i don't like the track ! thank for showing me the way ! I going to keep learning with you, full process video with quality are important, thank a lot for your work
Great Tutorial as a challenge. But if making a regular track, not in one hour - I personally highly recommend checking the tune/key of the kick first. The kick got a tail of low (bass) that got a tone. Also, export the "bass" after reverb manipulations that can change the tonality of the sound and check the tone of the bass after all these creative things. Re-pitch it in the primary key of the song. The track will sound more musically right to the ear.
Go watch "tuning the kicks? - by e clip" on youtube, you'll learn why it doesn't matter and you can just go by ear. All you need to do is listen for a desired phase between kick and bass.
@@lisotunali3807 Maybe when it's a short kick without a tail. Don't need to forget that you are planning to combine bass with other melodic elements to keep your track in tune. if your track is just drums, yes, it does not matter at all, but if we are talking about the original sample where the tail already has a note inside, or maybe you plan a pitch it in harmony with a pad or arp, for example. It's better to check precisely what tone Is to do it correctly later. Of course, we all got own way of working.
@@Vi_Ta_Lee The point is that a kick does NOT have a stable tone in it's tail. It's descending. An analyzer will tell you that it does have a peak at a certain frequency, but that's energy level and not a stable tone like a bass is. It's still important to have that sit in a good spot in a nice relation to the bass but using your ears to do that will be much more beneficial than a tuner
It would be great to see a Tutorial with Plug Ins that are included in the Producer Edition, cause I had to skip a lot of steps because I didnt have some expensive plug ins

As a humble listener and beginner music producer I would recommend filling that blank by delaying or reverbing the tail of the riser
