Getting a destroyer out and maybe a herring or two could be viable. Or maybe just 10 herrings. Reclaim the lab after. You would get a solid hold of that island and be able to scout and harass the coastline. Going for t2 is definitely too much. Also interesting to see how red and yellow came back on the top side. They were behind a lot when yellow lost his forward lab. They gave up some ground, switched to t2 and won.
Was a nice game for me with my early T1 success. Though I didn't know a player was out in the pond. Probably would have been fine if they just made a few destroyers, but t2 lab when there are no naval mexes to upgrade and water doesn't hold any key defensive points is indeed suicide. Sad I didn't get to use the nuke. Pure fiends might have sealed the game, but my thought was blue side was under so much pressure no one would have anti-nuke (which was correct), so my thinking was I could safely build nuke and eco instead of gambling on a fiend push. Hard to get the perfect game sense of when to lay on the gas or when to sit back and consolidate, that's what separates the decent from the great players.
Later on I dgunned the naval lab. When I first saw it I was so confused XD. Fun match!

Maybe Red could've gotten some herrings? :^)
I can't help but think that the heavy investment into water hurt blue team a lot.
Even if they had gone for water planes and did a bombing run they would've done more damage
because it did
sprinters are an underrated unit, I've been using them more and more recently. Great cast btw!

Always nice to see map variations. Getting to feel too much like meta to play certain maps.
I did not see this one coming
Ending shocked me
"mwah!" ok thanks
Well now we know why it's unusual
Man that’s frustrating for blue. Many thousands of Metals going into zero value in the pond.
More Brightworks :D
