3. Canamii - Toccata 2.30
4. Paul Brett Sage - The sun died 3.40
5. Demian - Todd's Tune 4.43
6. Fruupp - Decision 6.12
7. Mythos - Hero's death 7.42
8. Tyburn Tall - War game 9.12
9. Apoteosi - Prima Realta 10.38

The band from 2,3 and 8 I don't remember listened before. Thanks a lot buddy
Loved watching this. Thanks.
The Mythos album is a classic Kraut Rock album . l remember buying it from Virgin Records where l discovered it in their import section in the early '70's and was so impressed l l brought many other German import albums from there bands like Sameti , Embryo , Jane , Annexus Quam , Guru Guru and many other weird and wonderful groups whose albums are now scarce , rare and very collectable .
Now I know why some obscure bands
Ar so valuable. They are worth it.
Thanks mate. A lot of these artists were born and performed in the UK where there was a glut of brilliant musicians and you could just go to a pub, have a few beers, and see them perform their magic
👍👍👍👍👍
That last one is crazy. I’m happy I found this video again since I forgot their name.
“Liked” your video. At the same time nah man, none of these things are for me. I’m always up for learning about new artist/songs from the 70’s that I never knew about as I grew up in the decade & it’s nice to know about what you have here but I’m not walking away buying any of this. I’ve searched Google for obscure 70’s songs & a few that I found I liked well enough to get. One from Lieutenant Pigeon & one from a group called Mr, Bloe. Fun stuff, I know what I like as soon as it hits me so I trust myself & tastes tastes that way. But thanks for the video anyway & telling me these guys were there & what they made & such. Good video for learning more than I already knew.
at 30 seconds; Got Chicago all through and through.
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for posting this :-)
Some great new discoveries for me.
Looking forward to further exploration of some of these bands' back catalogues.
Aye Best!
amazing! thanks for sharing!
Very interesting mix. Saw String driven Thing several times in the seventies and eighties. Changed personnel too much. Fruupp are excellent, everyone give them a listen

These are in fact gems. Wish you could have included the entire recording of each one.
Book um Dano.
Thank you very much, good job
Does anybody know if the Bubble Puppy are available on CD ? Thank you for your kind reply
Horace Ball is proof positive that doobie brothers fans are not too bright!
Harmonium is very good too, people don't know it only because it's from Québec
Thanks a lot man, cool list!
Just Awesome!
hey man good job on the compilation, but you should also tag the tracks at what time each starts
The first tune sounds like where the band Chicago got their ideas from
"The Kansas and Boston concert in Chicago has been changed to the Chicago and Boston concert in Kansas...!" -Stevens & Grdnick '79
Cool I like psychedelic
Not quite psychodelic. It's Art Rock
The Mythos album cover looks like the work of Rick Griffin who worked for the Grateful Dead.
yeah! very good
You can find it here on You Tube.
Lovely shit
Prog rules :) :)
Only thing I would disagree with - re the title - is `String Driven Thing" Not `rare` at all in my view. Superb artists-but rare? I have half a dozen of their singles and three albums. `Bay City Rollers` covered "It`s A Game" STD also appeared on an episode of "Supersonic" in 1976, promoting their single "But, I Do" Bloody Good = Yes! Rare? Not really- but great video!
First one sounded like sean lees ping pong orchestra

Отлично.Супер.
you could've been good RJ in 70s !
are you the beavis guy?
ISOETORA
Don't go looking for this group anywhere.
Entirely consisting of cookie cutter, not commercial, art rock bands. Far too many of these types of bands wearing out the ilk.
I am sorry but if there are no dooby brothers on a 70s greatest hits complilation I can only give you a thumms down..i was thumm down number 10...i took it from a single digit to double digit.....Love, .Horace
Doobie Brothers songs were not "rare rock gems."
You can take your thumbs down and have a thumbs up the arse
Listen to" Time Warp radio every Tuesday on KDHX.
doesnt work for me....too spacey and psychedelic i prefer grunge...
grunge?? uh welllllllllll, you're in the wrong decade sister. you need to FF about 25 years or more for grunge.
Ohhh the first one tho
👍👍👍👍👍
