odd it won't connect for you. i got pia about 6 months ago and immediately changed to wireguard and it's been on every since. wonder what's up?
Wireguard works - just not on every server they have, and sometimes behind certain routers I have issues. Otherwise, if i want it bad enough, I can figure something out.
I remember when I still went to college it wouldn't connect with WiFi, only openvpn TCP worked.

Why do they charge monthly plus a yearly payment?
Exactly. NordVPN does the exact same thing. REALLY annoying. If you pay the yearly price (or however long the term is), that should be it.
Could you elaborate? Don't you just pay the whole amount for whatever plan you have chosen? For example 2 years + 4 months is like around 50€. Don't you just pay the 50€ and that's it? Are there hidden costs?
@@SirAndyal There is the monthly cost involved with that too. Not just the price they give you on the website. That's why you need to read the fine print.
@@jordanking7711 wow that's really scummy. How come it doesn't say anything on the website. Where can I see how much that would be? Apparently this is also a common practice with other vpn services
@@jordanking7711 Are you sure? I've had a paid subscription with them and have only paid the yearly price. The monthly price is just their way of showing you how much it costs per month if you get the yearly upfront subscription. Just multiply the monthly cost by the length of the subsciption and you'll see it adds up to the yearly cost.
Just uninstall PIA, reset all networking and reboot Windows 10/11. Reinstall PIA and WireGuard will work fine. Any other VPN software, even after removal, can cause this problem.
