Thank you for everything you did for the Blue Jays we love you Josh enjoy retirement! 💙
bringer of rain
No thank you for giving him a second chance we loved n miss those runs
Does he belong on the Wall of Excellence?
@@YRFKDM8100%
Gonna miss him
The chemistry in Blue Jays, Encarnacion, Bautista, Donaldson, it was incredible
I'm not even a Blue Jays fan and I loved that team. Especially when Bautista hit that bomb off Sam Dyson
Wasn’t Reyes on that team too ??
@@biggpapilocsta5227he was traded halfway through 2015 so for a little bit
Man those Blue Jays teams from 2015 and 2016 were so much fun 😢 ..don’t think we’ll ever experience something like that again. Reminds me of the 2019 Raptors and the early 2000’s Leafs
yup. the new core were pretenders compared to that crew.
That mad dash in 2016 will definitely go down as one of the most legendary moments
I liked his walk off HR in the last home game of the season 2015. I remember how exciting those times were with that murderer row lineup the jays had, with tons of swagger. Everyone who wasn't a jays fan absolutely loathed them, but if you were a Jays fan you absolutely loved them. And the way they would be getting blown out and 1-2 innings later they've overcame a 5 run lead. That happened so many times with that 2015 offense.
Came here as a Jays fan but how nice was it to see fans in Oakland back then!
Lots of love from braves country
For the A
Loved his time in Atlanta, always liked his play and his energy, Donaldson left it all out there on thr field no doubt.
First hit was a hr at the sky dome. How fitting
Adam Lind in left field 😂
What year was that?
@@hasibchowdhury1742it has to be 2011, that was the last year of the “Black Jays” logo.
all those dives over the tarps and into the stands.... crazy
I remember so many Canadiens fell in love with the game thanks to this beauty
He was my favorite player of the 2012-2014 teams
Thank you Josh. Appreciation from Jays fans. 🐦🇨🇦
I've never seen anyone send so many fans home with giant smiles on their faces...he did it everywhere he played.
His home run around the 0:37 mark is still one of my favorite moments of that 2012 season. He kept the A’s playoff hopes alive
man it bugs me how the Jays couldnt make it to the WS with him and Bautista and E.E... so much talent.. he was so fun to watch man!
Because they ran right into Perez, Moustakas, Hosmer and the raging machine known as the Royals.
@@LOLMAN9538 i understand why they didnt make it... all i said was it bugs me they didnt go to the WS lol
His run with the Blue Jays was amazing to watch in real time! When Toronto got him from Oakland I was shocked to think Toronto pulled off that deal. It was well worth the run of seeing him (especially in 2015!)
An amazing player who gave his all and mlb and people have the audacity to blame and say he never did anything bro he helped so many teams while other players never did anything
Mr Bringer Of Rain…Thank You, Thank You So So Much..👍🏽👍🏽
Even if his time with the Brewers was very short, he still was a key piece for us during our last month of the year and actually led the Brewers in batting during the postseason.
Was such a fun signing!
Top shelf talent! Enjoy the fruits of your excellence, Josh!
Well deserved cover of MLB the Show. Congratulations, well done sir.
Adding my voice - great player and exciting games. Thank you Josh, from another Jays fan.
My all time fave Blue Jay ❤ Enjoy your retirement sir❤
3 all stars and a MVP also was one of the best 3rd basemen in baseball at one time.
What?! Noooooo! That's is one of my top 2 favorite players of the past 15 years along with Trout and Harper
Man. He was such a character. I'm happy to have had him in Minnesota for a bit.
definitely a show in to the hall of Very Good
Certainly to the Blue Jays' Team HOF/Ring Of Honor in 2-3 years' time.
One of my favorite players from when I was in high-school
Loved watching this guy play in Atlanta for the 1 year. Congrats on a great career!
Geez how many walk offs did this man hit 😂
That 2015 season was electric and this guy had a lot to do with it! Enjoy retirement, Bringer of Rain!
My favorite Jays of all-time. Donaldson was a beast at batting and 3B.
Absolutely loved watching him play.
Loved watching this dude❤❤❤. much love
Josh Donaldson was an outstanding player, he will be missed.
i was there for donaldson’s ultimate grandslam in bronx, one of the craziest ball games ive ever watched in person, and ive been too like 50 yankee games
The MLB universe will miss you very much. Thanks for all that you've done and happy trails to you.
This guy is who i wanted to model my game after. In 2015 I chose to play 3B as my main position after my favourite Jay.
(I have switched to 1B as ive gotten older cuz the hot corner is a little hard on my reflexes but I'll never forget that span from 2015-2019 modeling my game after Donaldson)
loved this guy while he was in Oakland. thank you for all the memories, Josh. hope you have a nice retirement.
Thanks for the memories JD, blue jay for life!
Thank Josh it was really nice knowing you my friend
Thank you for everything you’ve done for baseball Josh! Happy retirement!! Toronto will always welcome you as a home away from home.
When I watch that slide home to seal that blue jays series win I get a chill down my spine. That was a world series caliber team that should not have lost to KC.
As a Cubs fan, hearing he was part of the farm system in 2008 was surprising. Trading him for Rich Harden? Worst mistake of the Cubs. Would've been a great PH / DH if we kept him behind Ramirez. Would've had him and KB at 3B while the other Pinch Hit would've been awesome. Alas, We traded him. What could've been.
Wild that those homers off Bieber that the fans caught em legit back to back
Compact stance with an explsive swing
What a carrer
Legend.
Thanks for the memories, JD! 🇨🇦🐦
Thanks for the year in Atlanta! Great journeyman player! Enjoy retirement!
changed his swing so much over the years.
That Wild Card game winning steal of home with the crowd and team erupting in the back should be the opening shot for every MLB video game.
I'll never forget the BRINGER OR REIGN. You were magical🍁
His leg kick and full swing are memorable, along with his diving catches of the foul balls. Congrats, Josh.
He is one of my favorite players! War Eagle Josh! Enjoy retirement!
Back when the coliseum used to be electric 😢
I've never expected to see Josh Donaldson on The Bronx Bombers team. Wish he could've stayed with them, but unfortunately he's with another team. But now Josh Donaldson is retired, and he's no longer playing in MLB
Thank you Josh Donaldson for a great memories, have a great retirement 👋👏
I have his 99 blue Jays card and he’s really good one of the best
I've read somewhere that Donaldson revolutionized baseball and I agree. When he arrived, baseball was never the same
I miss 2015 so much
Donaldson was an excellent player. Enjoy retirement sir 💯
Thank You For Everything Josh Donaldson And I Wish You The Best In Your Retirement
The mad dash back home to win against the Rangers is always my favorite
easy 30 homeruns every time he was healthy. unfortunate what injuries can do to a good career.
Yankees legend
Happy Retirement Josh Donaldson
Happy retirement Josh Donaldson,,
Was expecting a montage of him in pinstripes ngl
:( Will miss you!
Waa mi infancia la bluejays era de josh Donaldson.
Auburn Tigers legend 🐅🦅
All the best Josh! You’ll always be a Blue Jays bro.
Bringer of rain!
He will be missed
No one talks about it but the Athletics over the past 20 years have had great 3rd basemen.
Matt Chapman, Josh Donaldson , Eric Chavez…. Crazy talent there
mlb the show 16 cover legend
The fact his first hit was a hr against the Jay's is hilarious
dude had a heck of a career but father time remains undefeated.
Nothing like the 2015-2017 Blue Jays
Best Jays 3B-man ever. Tremendous acquisition by AA. Sadly talent at 3B and in the FO are both long gone.
Congrats on your retirement
Yankees released him and went to the brewers and on his first game played with the brewers he hit a home run against the Yankees 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Gonna miss this dude. I hope he enjoys his retirement, and I also hope he keeps getting a 99 card in MLB The Show
Can’t believe they missed the 2015 walk off against the Rays, or any of his playoff home runs as a jay. All of those were electric.
I wish there was a training staff that knew how to handle his calf, he could’ve easily had the best last few years and even maybe another one. Wish he didn’t leave the braves
Excelente pelotero MLB y Lidom Leones del Escogido
what's the weather in oakland? rain. Toronto? rain. Atlanta? rain. Minnesota? rain. New York? rain. and Milwaukee? Rain...............
Even though his bat slowed quiet a bit at the end of his career, he was a brick wall at the hot corner!
The Fact that Donaldson's 1st Career Hit was a Home Run in Toronto, "It's hard not to be romantic about baseball"
he along with Jose Bautista and Encarnación took the Jays to two straight ALCS appearances with the Jays... Quite a career for the angriest player.
Legend
Not a bad career. Go enjoy the rest of your life JD "bringer of rain" 🙏
Made it rain in Toronto
he deserves hall of fame
his prime was as good as anyone in recent memory
I wish the A’s never traded him for 2 Jumbo Trons…
sad to see the bringer of rain retire :(
Cya Josh! your the bomb
He wasn't called the Bringer of Rain for nothing
My fav player of all time. He’s the one who brought swagger with cleats when he turned his lebron soldiers into them 😮💨😮💨😮💨😮💨
Kind of fitting his first homer was in toronto
