I think we are going to find out that, in the long run, these ridiculous charge speeds will have a negative impact on battery life. The Samsung S23 Ultra fast charge 2 is plenty fast for me. I don't even charge it at night, I wake up in the morning, plug the phone in, get ready for work and it's at 85% (battery protect) by the time I leave the house.

Heat kills batteries, and while faster charging rates may be synonymous with increased heat production it isn't ubiquitous. Years ago devices would heat up much more than they do today while charging at just 5-10watts. The reason? Well we learn from the past and modern batteries incorporate ever more complex methods of disipating excess heat. You know what makes way more heat and subjects your device to it for longer than fast charging? Wireless charging, its all the heat of a 100 watt charger but but over 3 hours instead of 30 minutes

One plus 11 charger 100 W
It really depends on the charger, there is 45w charger, but it only supports 25w. One+ charged instantly
