To anyone who got problems getting the farm to work, remember that there are specific conditions that need to be fulfilled for an Iron Golem to Spawn: 1. The villager has slept in the last 20 minutes (That's why the bed's are there, that was my reason for the farm not working, I didn't let them sleep when I let the Zombie into the boat) 2. The villager has not detected an iron golem in the last 30 seconds 3. The villager has not been near a summoning in the last 30 seconds 4. There are enough participants within 10 blocks of the villager, including the villager itself; participating villagers need to fulfill the previous 3 conditions: When gossiping, 5 or more Villagers participants are needed and when panicking, 3 or more Villagers are needed 5. A valid spawn point for the golem is found (The Water trap of the farm itself)
I built this and it worked for a few minutes and the iron golems stopped spawing on the water place and i dont know where it spawned can someone tell me if it did spawn or if it didnt for some weird reason and if it did spawn in a cave how do i find it
They might be spawning in a cave and I'm pretty sure there's a glitch where you can shove a Glowstone block on your head to see through blocks, idr if it still works
this farm works pretty good i made it in a desert village and just placed dirt where it needed to be plowed, still worked fine, was very easy to build 10/10
W tutorial just made it already have 45 iron but sometimes he seems to spawn out of the kill chamber so ima try making the area larger which should fix it ty for the vid
I expanded the path blocks, which helped a little. The golems sometimes spawn too close to the villager holding cell and ride the wall up and out of the kill chamber. Might need to expand the kill zone and/or move it away from the villager cell.
Anybody know why the wall between the villagers and killing chamber would break and let the villagers out? I AFK’ed the farm a couple times and the wall broke both times without me seeing what actually happened
i test farms in creative before i do them in survival to see if they work when i made it zombies from like 20 blocks away attack the iron golems and died with them giving me more then just iron
The paths are spawnproofing the ground. You could do this aswell with buttons or slabs for example. If youre not spawnproofing then the golem will spawn outside the killing chamber :)
Extremely useful, thank you so much. I followed this tutorial in the Minecraft Java 1.21.3 version and it worked. It's an absolute gamechanger.

so i do let them sleep or dont?
is it possible to duplicate the villager pit on all 4 sides to quadruple the iron output?
i tried it its doesnt really change anything
Mine worked perfectly thanks man. Confirmed works on java 1.21
Should this need to be near a farm? Or can i implement it further away near my base?

My villagers don’t seem to care about the zombie at all. I used a bamboo raft; does it need to be a different boat so they can have line of sight?

Nice! :)
i literally saw as a golem spawned on the buttons, so i replaced them with slabs
worked for me on java 1.20.6, thanks a lot bro
Can we place composter instead of barrels
Im not sure. Test it :)
@@Regundcan you pls try it for me and tell me
@@rithishrithu9380 barrels are very easy to make

@@dpocai i expanded the path blocks and so far i have not had any issues but if i do see any issues show up again i will try what you suggested 👍
Doesn't seem to work for me.
Followed block by block but no golems will spawn.
Are the golems spawning around the farm?
This will not work in Bedrock.

Works as of 7/20/24 just follow exactly what he does. Cheers!

@@Zorglow no zombie is still there and the villagers r still freaking out

@@Zorglow not close at all. it worked for like 20mins, i got over a stack of iron then it just quit
Does it works on bedrock?
Works great, but sometimes the golem spawns inside a wall.
It works, but one villager got in the boat behind the zombie, will this be a problem?
fixed it, it was indeed a problem
stopped working for me, idk why just after the update...
they are not spawning for me and i did everything as in the video
I cant place lava on top of the sign? How to fix??(im on a server)
Try using fence gates instead. Dont forget to open them!
Give the zombie an item so it doesnt despawn
will it be the same if i spawn villagers with an egg?
it should
@tomasdariuspaun7586 the villagers are scared but no golem is spawning
@@Lennanrobbo odd i have no idea why, maybe let them sleep 1 night and see if it works then
@@darius-m3p could it be I'm on PlayStation or something? Will let them sleep and see what happens
@@Lennanrobbo oh it problably doesn't work on bedrock. I ran into the same problem when i tried to make it in bedrock
does building it not near a vilalge work because mine is not working
Yeah has to be a little farther away from the village
Does not work very well after a bit of time
will this work without all of the paths?

zombie kills the villagers
not working for me
can i make this in a village
My villagers never come to bed lol wth
Does not work on Bedrock Edition.
Doesn't work zombie dies in the day. Confirmed doesn't work

The boat must be under the slabs
