    Dont let the haters get to you, this is a totaly fine thing to do, no one loses anythng as the elo is returned and everyone has something to gain by watching.

    19:46 if they go check why complicate? why not just block with the queen on f2? You're up a piece so trades are fine.

    so just a question, do your opponents here get thier elo back as in eric rosen and danya’s speedruns

    • @ApexChesss
      @ApexChesss  Месяц назад +2

      yes. i wouldnt do this if i didnt have permission from chess.com

      They do but only when the speedrun ends so they have to wait a few months

      @chillguywholowkeydoesntgivea For real? Imagine playing against 10 speedrun accounts, losing 100 elo and wasting a few hours lol.

    These guys in the comments don't get it. When Danya or Eric Rosen do it it's fine but if Apex makes instructive speedrun-ish content it's a crime

      Does the Apex speedrun account refund ratings? Streamers usually get special accounts for this

      Cause they are good at teaching, no offense to Apex of course but he’s just playing games and doing very surface level analysis, he also barely explains the moves

      @chillguywholowkeydoesntgivea doing my best, nobody starts out perfect. The goal of this series is to try and get better at teaching, so if you have any advice on stuff I can do to make it better then I'm super open to criticism. I'm also just trying to open the door to different types of content rather than only me grinding rapid elo

      @@tannerjmewborn7470 yessir, I purposely didn't do this series until now because before I never had the permission but now I do since I'm a chesscom streamer. All points are refunded

    2000s too strong for this guy, so he decided to play a 700 lol...

      Ahh yes it's not like I'm trying to help some lower rated players see some common mistakes or anything

      What's your rating? @justsomeprofile4969

      @@ApexChesss At 700 elo, it's literally anyone's game. Openings don't matter, many blunders are made and not even noticed by the opponent, tactics missed and all that. In 700elo it often pays of to play aggressive and overwhelm the opponent, just sac some pieces in front of their king and wait for a mistake lol.

    Playing your strongest openings against players 1300 elo less than you doesn’t quite seem right. Other RUclipsrs at least play other openings when doing speed runs

    • @ApexChesss
      @ApexChesss  Месяц назад

      I've been doing a variety of different openings in each video
