No sir that wasn't a spoon, that was a toothbrush 😂😂😂 that was the style back then amongst other things. Gen X is forgotten because, nobody want to mess with us!!!!😘
You need to react to the video “Protect your Neck” which will introduce all the members to you so you can get more familiar with them. Another good one is “ Da Mystery of Chess boxing”. There are too many great tracks by them but you should start with those since it’s in the beginning of their career and many of the MC’s are on those tracks
Definitely 'Protect ya Neck', which was their early mixtape song that put them on. The CREAM song you just listened to was their first big commercial hit. "Mystery of Chessboxing" is another great one.... And the song "Method Man" is great. All of these songs on their first album.
Bro honestly I love watching the younger generation reaction to this all time classic. Absolute banger if it wasn’t for the wu there wouldn’t be rap today. NO 🧢
I played this song everyday after my father passed away, he was not the best person ever but I felt so sad the way he died, drunked, late at night while he was sleeping, heart attack.....this song kept me composed weeks, months, and years after, I can't like without this song
I just listened to Ice Cream 🍦 yesterday (Wu Tang) and I’m going to be honest it’s up there with Shakespeare! For real. I’ve heard it 57864 times and I still don’t know the words but it’s amazing. And hell nawl! His name was Tyrone Biggums not Crackie! 😂😂😂
'm 53, I think this came out in '93 feb. I'm from tri-state area (CT). So it was very real for me. I was a broke college student, mother had just passed away in spring of '92. I had 2 part time jobs, plus 4 classes. I worked in the same hospital she passed in (I was 21 2 months prior) & the schools computer Mac lab. I had taken fall '92 off & had started back during the semester Wu-Yang came out. Listen to their whole 1st album, classic. My best friend was in college & aspiring hip-hop producer working with 2 guys (Queens & Baltimore). They had an apartment together. I recall listening to this Feb of '93, heavy snow everyday & single digit to below freezing temps everyday. He was making beats while the roomates were in the kitchen cooking cr@ck. Ice build up on the ground inches thick, snow falling in the 6 inches to ft range almost every other day. & this was the general setting of that era of 'Enter the wu-tang 36 chambers' 'Feb 1993.
This is the second Wu Tang Clan song on your channel. Old Dirty Bastard is a member of the clan. I recommend “Verbal Intercourse” or “Guillotine Swords” next. 2 of my favorite Wu tang songs off “Only Built for Cuban Links”…. AKA The Purple Tape.
Your damn right about Gen-X. The very Independent generation. You cant wait to move out of your parents home and conquer the world on your own. Hard and fearless.
You should react to more songs from enter the wu tang album. Some fire songs are Bring da ruckus, protect ya neck, 7th chamber and wu tang clan aint nothing to fuck with
You actually listened to GZA "4th Chamber" which is pretty much a Wu-Tang Clan song on his solo album. You also did ODB but that's after they started doing real solo work & branching out with other producers. But OAN y'all pay way too much attention to what generation yall are. I can remember them teaching us the generations in school like baby boomers & blah blah blah. And I can remember not giving a fcuk. All we cared was that we was here now & trying to survive. All this gen this & that I could careless. Shit we alive now
Yeeeess. Ive watched a lot of reactions to this. But what you said about generation x i liked a lot mate!I agree. I enjoyed watching with you. I think this, or mystery of chessboxing are probably two of the best to see if new to wu tang. 😁😎👌
This generation has no idea what they missed!
On dogs. 💯
No clue ! I sometimes feel bad for them kids under 25 their hip hop is pitiful
Not to worry, they're going to do it again, maybe even on a higher level.
It warms you up inside though watching them discovering our youth from back in the day lol 👌
@@wutang6020 yup, it reinvigorates me, feels like the first time.
How is it possible you never heard this
One of most iconic rap tracks of all time.
Wu tang is sick wit it.
I am embarrassed for this guy. How can you like rap without wu tang , public enemy, and NWA . All games changers
Guy needs to do protect ya neck
95 in high school it was Wu,Nas,Big,Mobb,OutKast plus so much more. What a time it was!
Same shit in Europe...
I was twelve in 1995 and i m proud of this era.
No sir that wasn't a spoon, that was a toothbrush 😂😂😂 that was the style back then amongst other things. Gen X is forgotten because, nobody want to mess with us!!!!😘
Drake and Wu Tang in the same sentence 😂😂😂😂. Bro Wu Tang is legendary. Cash Rules Everything Around Me!
The fact that Drake is his reference point is sickening.
It’s truly a tragedy!
Omg it is. Drake and Wu tang should never be in the sentence EVER
@@phglam WuTang Foever!!!!! ain’t nothin to F with.
FFF-Drake! He is a quintessential Du-Bag! I heard he has Ozempic face, lol!
@@phglam BTW, OutKast is everlastin!

He dont know they're like the Beatles of Hip Hop. This album in particular was a masterpiece. This was my teenage years.

This generation was hardcore.
gen x had the best music. 80s punk and metal, 90s hip-hop, all the pop in between. they blow everything out the water
"This is gotta be Gen X music" is the best thing i've heard all month 😂 and when people try to test this kinda stuff starts playing in our minds
This is a classic example of a youngin needing some act right!! Welcome to the best era of hip hop!
More wutang please! Triumph is probably one of the greatest music videos of all time. Its like a 6 min long MCU movie.
I'm gen x. I was listening to them when I was in the 9th grade. Now I'm in my 40s. You're right bro
Dammit young king,
If Drakes Cakes is your main reference for a lot of hip hop then you got a lot to absorb.
DMX, Busta, Kool Keith, Doom
Definitely 'Protect ya Neck', which was their early mixtape song that put them on. The CREAM song you just listened to was their first big commercial hit. "Mystery of Chessboxing" is another great one.... And the song "Method Man" is great. All of these songs on their first album.
How could you never heard Wu Tang Clan ?
Gen Z, it’s been 39 years! Wu didn’t sell out , so it’s something that must be discovered by the youngins.
@@twatts1523 I love this perspective
Bro honestly I love watching the younger generation reaction to this all time classic. Absolute banger if it wasn’t for the wu there wouldn’t be rap today. NO 🧢
It's straight up gen X we are the last hard generation we grew up with the mentality that you need to go out and get yours
I played this song everyday after my father passed away, he was not the best person ever but I felt so sad the way he died, drunked, late at night while he was sleeping, heart attack.....this song kept me composed weeks, months, and years after, I can't like without this song
wu tang not only had great albums as a group but also so many of their solo albums were fire as well
Anything off the Liquid swords album!🔥
The dollar bill ya'll part comes from Jimmy Spicer song "Money Dollar Bill Ya'll" Meth just reused that part
Dave Chappelle playing Cracky what?! LOL! That character was named Tyrone.

"But this probably is a good song" the words if someone that doesn't know what masterpiece of a track he's about to listen
I know this song suddenly bro and now I’m obsessed 😂

Start with Mobb Deep - Shook Ones Part 2
First time listening to wu-tang? Oh, this is like watching someone open a Christmas present.
90s HipHop the era when it was perfected!
We early millennials were rugged, too
Old school rap rules...and every song is some type of message and story telling. 🎙🔥
Wu Tang, naughty by nature, black sheep, onyx, tribe called quest, all crazy good 90s gen x rap groups
wu tang came up with the CREAM slang, and it was reakwon who came up with having alias names
Every wu tang song spits a story and knowledge. The way hiphop should be. Long live 90s hiphop with a message. 👊🤘🍻
It’s funny you mention chapelle 4:30 he had wutang on the show so many times and there’s even a wutang skit

They're saying that cash rules the world and you can't be free without it. This is true to this day. You don't have to like it but you better know it.
As a white 20 year old kid I have no idea what rock you’ve been living under
Its hurts to know young people dont know that Cream is wutang not drake omg.
This dude is saying this song is actually fire with a straight face.
