Yes, they're real drums. Yes, you can change heads. Yes, there is an 8" tom, but I have so far just found it from their US website.

Hi, we have just taken some photos showing the kit folded down etc, they'll be up on the site within the coming 10 days, thanks for your support

Hi, I don't think they are, the video was done in the U.S so I wasn't there. The cymbals that come with the kit are budget quality. they are by no means a brand but we have never had anyone complaining about them

They sound fantastic! Were there electronic drum triggers on them, or do they actually sound that good? What kind of mic was on the kick drum? What kind of heads were being used? I am intrigued.

Why weren't the booms attached TO the rack like the website shows? This kit isn't really any more portable with all the extra cymbal boom stands, now -is it?? Just a thought.

Drummers can be picky people. We have toured for 6 years with our Traps a400 with no issues. We use the kit just like you see it in this picture. No extra stands, second issue Traps cymbols, which sound excellent!

The toms sound good. The snare drum not at all (does not sound good). The snare drum sounds thin and wimpy, has an alright "crack" to it though, but not a good sounding snare drum. The Bass Drum it looks like there is an SM58 on it? Maybe that is the reason it doesnt sound impressive. BD sounds thin and "boxy".
Overall Id say the toms sound (by far) the best. Snare no, BD not so much. Laying into the hi hat that much is out of context given the BD and SN are so weak.
Thats my take on it. I did play this set once and was impressed. Perhaps its the micing technique of this video that is effecting the overall sound quality. Dunno, doesnt sound very good either way!

When are people going to learn? JUST PLAY THE GODDAMN THING STRAIGHT AWAY. We don't want to sit through 3 minutes of waffle before we hear it.
