Man, I could sit here and listen to this all night long! I've never owned a big block FE car but I love to hear them run! My first car had a 289 and they sing like nothing else! Wish my '73 Mach 1 351 Cleveland sounded and ran like Dean Cook's '71! Love hearing all these cars, thanks again Evan!
Now a three hour version put together for Thursday morning so we have the drag racing version of the Macy Day Parade. Through in a few short interviews, but mostly just the clips like this!
Of course I love em all, but I had a 78 Zephyr, and my dad had a 78 Fairmont Futura, so I am kinda partial to that little red wagon with the screaming Coyote! Thanks for another great one Evan!!!
@@revanevanI really can trust you to bring it like no one else can. So many AI channels with stolen content, fake content. You go to these events. I remember seeing guys I only knew from forums and trading FE parts through UPS. You have met the Robert Ponds, the Whitney’s, the LeBlancs! All people I have corresponded with but never met. You have brought a dimension of racing to us that no one has and I put a vote on the table for the top journalist and content creator and editor in automotive history. Thank you Evan! Everyone hit that like button and post an Amen! This isn’t AI crap. This is real!
thats awesome on surround sound and the subwoofer kicked up a little. its a tie for me, im going with the 65 289 coupe because i know the car, and the blue Maverick👍
Lovely music. out of these ones the 7 second small blocks have the tune I like, the coyotes and 289s a close second...and ofcourse there's Kurt Neighbors 427FE. Speaking of overhead cams, my favorite doesn't make an appearance in this video.
I love stick shift cars. My dailies are sticks. My Hot Rod is a stick. IF YOU'RE NOT BANGING THE CLUTCH BETWEEN GEARS WITH A REAL STICK, IT HAS LESS VALUE. These are automatics with a clutch.
Well I don’t know about these STICK SHIFT cars. I’m 73 years old maybe I missed something. When I did my racing I actually stepped on a clutch to shift a 67 ford fairlane GT . 428 With a top loader. Later on I used a clutch on a 69 Chevrolet Z 28 . I didn’t see much movement of the left leg. Thanks
I'm a Cleveland guy, but I have to say, those Coyote's sound awesome!

I can't pick a favorite. I LOVE all of these cars.
Love it!!! I cut my teeth bang shifting Ford Top loaders back in the 70's!!
Gotta Love a 289 that can pull a wheelie!!

Yep, yep, yep, I agree!! 👍
I second the motion !!!
Loved this video another winner Evan. All the cars were great but Thunderbolts side by side was the Best.
RevanEven !!!! I Live this type of Ford input !
Fantasy content as usual Evan! Thanks!
Love seeing all those fast Ford's!
The violence of launch, instantly followed by a violent 1-2 shift is Kool
Great door slammer action. Loved all the Fo Mo Co action, especially the Thunderbolts.
That 4.6 sounds Nasty !!! Hell Yea !! Hard to beat the sound of a high winding sbf.
Great video I love the stick shift cars I been drive sticks all my life 57 years i drive one everyday
This is the best drag racing video I have seen yet👍👍☝️
So awesome watching the in car camera
Awesome compilation. Seeing those two thunderbolt’s going head to head was fantastic
Just pure awesomeness.
Of course I love em all, but I had a 78 Zephyr, and my dad had a 78 Fairmont Futura, so I am kinda partial to that little red wagon with the screaming Coyote! Thanks for another great one Evan!!!
I like any stick car!! Being a Fairlane guy my favorites are Michael Tagg and Chris Whitney’s 1967 Fairlanes!!
Beautiful Ford Drag Cars. WOW!👍
Always so wicked sounding! I'm always tensed up just waiting for a rod to come flying out!! lol
excellent. No music to drown it out either!
How good is this!! Great photography 👍
Best video on yt I've seen in a long time. Volume at 11!!! This one goes on a permanent watch list! I've said 10x: not a Ford guy, love this channel!
Great video Evan. One of your best. Love the stick shifts and always will. They seem to be making somewhat of a comeback. So nice to see.

Hell YEAH!!!! What an awesome video!!
Two Thunderbolts racing. I'm 63 and I've only seen one in my life in San Diego in the 90s. They only made 100
they are all awesome!
That Fairmont wagon was awesome
My favorite?
Yes.
Great stuff REVan. 👍🇺🇸

thats awesome on surround sound and the subwoofer kicked up a little. its a tie for me, im going with the 65 289 coupe because i know the car, and the blue Maverick👍
Awesome, can we get this in a long format? Awesome Ford Racing Revan!
Tough choice! All good.
Music 🎶 for my ears 👂 🎶
Solid roller motors with ground pounding Ford's.if your a car guy you would understand
The library is almost full just a few more Furds 534cid 460 429.
289 Four Speed
Michael Tagg's Fairlane is my #1, but:
- 1:44 TOO nice.
- 4:47 best ass in drag racing.
- T-Bolts duel' take.
- Etc. etc...
FORD DRAG TEAM 💪🚦🔥
All bad ass!!!

Don't worry, more like this coming! Thanks for watching.
Wow we got the Turkey Trot nationals. Trodden all the way down the quarter. I take a slap stick please!
Coyote swapped 4 eye is very impressive. Evan my favorite tho is Wild Bill's 69!
i like my 06 Mustang GT with the 4.6 with a Whipple SC, 5spd, and a Borla exhaust. sweet.
The Mustang shown at 10:15 is a 1964-1/2 coupe.
Dean Cook II - The Boss 351 stocker - then again, he's a fellow Rhode Islander....
The Factory X car...wow!
Get some!
427 side oiler has a sound of its own so does a 289
Am partial to the 2-8-9. Especially when fitted with an X-pipe, as that gives the *F.O.R.D.* sound.
I'm kinda torn between the Maverick and the 71 BOSS 351🤔
I love manual transmissions also but the parts breakage usually stops me from building one
Coyote LX notch and wagon ❤
🔥🔥🔥
I love stick shift cars. My dailies are sticks. My Hot Rod is a stick. IF YOU'RE NOT BANGING THE CLUTCH BETWEEN GEARS WITH A REAL STICK, IT HAS LESS VALUE. These are automatics with a clutch.
My favorite is the light green 66/67 2 door sedan at about 1 minute
So are the transmissions actually sticks? I see shifting but only back and forth motion. Not sliding sideways and up.
Yes, face-plated manuals.
@ like a sequential? Or more like a Jerricho with no ability to down shift ?
Well I don’t know about these STICK SHIFT cars. I’m 73 years old maybe I missed something. When I did my racing I actually stepped on a clutch to shift a 67 ford fairlane GT . 428 With a top loader. Later on I used a clutch on a 69 Chevrolet Z 28 . I didn’t see much movement of the left leg. Thanks
Undercut gears in transmission
Straight line shifter shift just as fast as any automatic
Show me the t5
Tussin5.0 got you covered!!
Ford's greatest engines are the 427FE and the 289 hi po.
Gotta luv a Jerico/Liberty tranny
been a FORD driver for 50 years but never beat anything but another FORD .. had AN Rcode 69 but could not beat my friends 440 six pac challenger
Neat cars, but I'm better than all of them because I actually use my left leg to shift. So there. Neener neener.
Don’t slip that clutch! Foot to the floor & fan that clutch my boy.
