Legend has it that Tonya is still waiting for the plane to show up and now she's starting to think something may be wrong
Lol
Legend has it that tree log is still floating in the ocean
was just thinking, what's wrong with this girl?
Damn, looking around and just seeing open ocean would be overwhelming
Tanya : ".....it's been 6 hours.....it's pitch black outside.....eh... I think I'll give them another week and see if they contact us. If I don't hear from them early next month....then I'll know I should give them another 24 hours and then I'll call for help."
yeah, they´re probably drinking beer in a bar in the middle of a deserted island - oh wait, do deserted islands have bars? I guess so, Tanya, I guess so, dear...
That's what I thought. What the hell...6 hours?! Hope in reality she did something earlier than 6 HOURS later...
Yea she was infuriating!!!!
She rigged the plane ✈️ lol
Right lol
This has to be the greatest TV show of survival since ‘I’m Alive’ and ‘I Survived’. Hope you upload more episodes of the rest of the show.
100% they need to make new episodes
I love this show
YEAH!......THE GREATEST SINCE...IM ALIVE#1...I SURVIVED #2...THEN THIS!..NIIICE AND ADDICTIVE!😊
I'm always watching this channel every chance I get..!
'I survived' was not even that great of a tv show because each episode was just 3 different peoples stories woven intermittently with them shuffling in-between the peoples stories in an organized pattern so the viewer felt like they had to watch the entire episode with all 3 stories in it, otherwise it would be a lot of work trying to fast forward and rewind to only the one story that the viewer would be interested in. On top of that, that show didn't even have reenactments like this show, just the storyteller telling their story to the camera with occasional sound effects to add drama. All-in-all, not really a fun time watching that show.
the way he described his friends at the end is so beautiful. the fate they suffered is incredibly heartbreaking, but I’m comforted by the fact that they had a friend who loved them so dearly and could honor their lives in the way he did
Him: "well at least things can't get any worse"
Jelly Fish: "Allow us to introduce ourselves..."
Ha 🤣 !!!
I SO WISH this program was still on T.V. !!! I REALLY miss it!!
I completely concur.
well in order to do that they need more survival stories
@@aidanbarnes4290 Exactly. Too bad people have suddenly stopped finding themselves in perilous situations.
but there are other shows that deal with similar situations, try watching Fight to survive@@K9River
Who needs TV 📺. I have my phone and great reception plus a Bluetooth speaker 🔊 😊
He talks about his friends like they were heros to him. So sad.
Why?
What horrible torture to be surrounded by water and can’t drink anything. This guys will power was incredible. I couldn’t do it. Wow. ❤😢
Sharks, jellyfish, sunburn, dehydration, exhaustion. Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse......
Salt water alligator.... oh wait thats a log! xD
I was so scared for him
I just love the narrator's voice it's perfect for these stories
I’m not sure if this is an updated narration or the UK’s version but either way you’re right, this narrator is a lot better than the American narrator
Me too dr pual mcgann is awesome narrator
Me too I like dr pual mcgann
Just like peter thomas
This narrator is good for sure, it's like peter Thomas in investigation discovery...ID
His body fat saved his life too. It kept him warm through the night and it helped him float. If he was skinny he would not have lasted so long in the water. Even with a log.
Was thinking the same thing.
As a thin, small, framed female, I don't think I would have survived more than 6 hours.
My temperature would have plunged, and I would have dehydrated that much quicker.
God sent you that log!
Such an ignorant comment.
@@allancouceiro9255lol exactly..
@@allancouceiro9255Satan sent it
I would take the log , home . And keep it forever 🤍
Flight attendant - “sorry sir, you can’t board the plane with that log”
Will - “but this is my support log!”
are you Miranda cosgrove?
Same thing that i would do❤
I have never been so happy over a log 🪵 😂
Hmmm. Maybe it was one of the first blessings to keep him alive. 🪵
Missing for 6 hours!!!!Help should have been called as soon as she seen they wasn’t back at the air strip.6 HOURS!!!!I would have been pissed! How negligent was that.
She stupid i wouldn't be friends with her anymore
This episode has decreased my fear of sharks. 24 hours in open water and no Jaws.
As long as you don't act like prey, sharks typically don't attack people. Although, you don't want to swim with them if you can help it.
yeah but it's increased my fear of jellyfish
Sharks generally don’t like the taste of humans, they only attack when their seriously hungry or ill in some way, jellyfish are definitely to be feared much more than life size jaws especially in the ocean where they crashed, most sharks are well fed
@thejnasty true but sharks aren't born with inbuilt knowledge that humans are unpalatable. The only way for them to know is to try a bite. Its from that taste test that we can bleed out and die.
We know our bones are too dense, we dont have blubber and we dont taste like fish or sea mammals but sharks dont know that.
The only kind of dive I will take is under my blanket with my pillow and my puppies for cushions.
I know!!! Me too! LOL. I'll say that for my chiweenie. And look at that cute fur baby in your profile picture that I've RUclips adopted. Lol. He's too precious.
😂 you can say that again 🤣
She should have alerted authorities hours before she did
Right 🤔🤔🤔😥❤😊
I wish Discovery would bring this show back with newer cases... This one I´ve seen it before and it is one of the few in which none of the parties were at fault. In many cases, people are just not prepared. In here, it was a situation nobody could be prepared for and by a miracle, he survived...
wow! he really shouldn't be alive. it's amazing how he survived against all odds.
Love all of your videos man..watching your videos is the highlight of my sundays. Wish you much success with your shop and youtilube channel
It's just so crazy how one minute everything is fine, everyone is alive and we'll...1 minute later someone's dead and you are jumping blind out of a plane.
It was the poor pilot I thought about first 😮
This man has extreme survival instinct!
Mani and Jimmy were my skydive buddies, Mani was my best friend. I remember him calling me asking me to go with him, but I told him no way, I'm not leaving the US. I got a call from my Packer who asked me, are you sitting down? Then he told me that Mani and Jimmy were lost at sea after there jump plane crashed. I was devastated. I was up all night watching CNN on a PC when a pic of a ship pulling up my buddy Mani. I recognized him imediately because I knew his jump suit. I would have probably been on this plane if I went. The strangest thing is...I had a deja vu experience when me and Mani were in Chicago on a skydive boogie when he told me that, well I have done everything I've ever wanted to do, that's when a rush of deja voodoo hit me.
Good upload never seen this one before
I'm so sad about his friends but What an amazing ordeal! Wow!! ❤ he's Alive!❤❤❤
Unbelievable that he survived the plane crash, ended up in the ocean and then stung by jellyfish then shark bait 😂
I admire anyone who chooses to jump from a plane for kicks..It must be one almighty buzz ❤
I can't relate with Will at all, as far as believing in the safety of falling through the air. I'm terrified of heights. It's great to hear another point of view on the matter. I certainly agree with him that everyone needed to jump out of that careening plane. He would have either died on impact, or been trapped inside and pulled down to the ocean floor. I really wish that more people had survived, but I'm sure glad he made it.
What an intro, I don't remember anyone who has said anything about skydiving except your jumping out a plane with some fabric to keep you from falling at an uncertain speed
These reenactments are pretty amazing.
Tanya should not be in this episode. Who the hell waits 6+ hours to call for help?
That was God giving u that Log 🙌 Bro
🙄
I love how no one mentions how truly awful that one guys hat was lol
I knew ,that he was alive, but anyway I was anxious about him. He is the real hero ❤ My condolences towards victims .
Did they not have a weather forecast BEFORE the plane took off?!?
From my experience there they never check anything, my friend took a guided tour up their biggest mountain called something like mt chiriripo, and the weather got bad and he wondered the same thing but he knew the guide probably had not checked anything cause they'd already gotten lost a few times on the way there through the jungle and they got near the top and the guide looked at the sky and said it didn't look good but my friend went anyway cause it'd been such an multi day ordeal and he said he was running through a cloud with lightning cause it's pretty high and cold and the craziest thing hed ever done , i pretty much expect this stuff there now, multiply anything they tell you by 1000 times, a few hours hike is really a multi day trek through a lightning storm
I cannot understand why it took so long for Tanya to call authorities
Just wow !
Nothing to float on?!?×? I'm dead in under an hour
I'm immediately I can't swim or float, I'll panic and prob have a heart attack first😂
Floating in saltwater is actually much easier than in freshwater because you are more buoyant in it. Of course it’s easier said than done, when you’re dealing with currents/cold/fear/exhaustion.
I’m dead in less than a minute
His buddies sound like good people❤
When he said could it be a crocodile 🐊 oh no too much
Turtles that slice you open and eat you? Lol what kinda sea turtles they got in costa rica
Ninja turtles 🐢
yeah, if I was in his position I would be worried about sharks and maybe saltwater crocodiles, but a turtle is the last thing I would be concerned about.
God send him the log ❤
Why did he let everyone else die? Ignorant comment.
God. @@allancouceiro9255
Then he ditched it
At times I wonder if I was in a similar situation what I'd do, 😓
that's the whole point of this show, it's a learning experience to test people's survival skills
Why doesn't parachutes have a life preserver attached to it somewhere just in case you land in the water? That would make sense to me!
It's just something that could cause an entanglement with your parachute or get caught exiting the plane. Also just something you probably don't want to deal with if you enjoy free flying. Also most dropzones you aren't flying over large bodies of water. By design your parachute is meant to trap air and could be used for flotation.
@@mowheely thanks for that info. It was very interesting.
@@mowheelyhow about trackers why aren’t parachutes equipped with small trackers just in case ?
@kevinscorner8785 some people are using such things now like air tags or even jumping with cell phones in a zip up pocket. This is an extraordinary circumstance where the plane was going down and they exited over the ocean. Any skydiving pilot is only going to let you exit over your planned area and you visually look at your landing area before exiting the plane making trackers not necessary for jumpers under normal circumstances.
99% of the time drop zones are not near water
This guy had some serious determination! Sadly, Tanya sure wasn’t in any hurry to seek emergency help. She thinks they’re in a cantena somewhere? WTF?
A log in the middle of the ocean what a relief 🥲
Was Tanya thinking? ........ at all?
I would never let the log go.
“Support log” for life 😂
My biggest fear aside from heights is being left out in the open ocean I mean, seriously like we all know what’s beneath the surface, not to mention the rest of the potential problems
How much ya suppose an adventure like cost?
No life jackets aboard the plane.. Those backstrokes at night had to be terrifying not knowing if a great white is going to breach the water and swallow you whole
I know it’s near the Jurassic park movie but I doubt the turtles down there eat people
Don't go flying up into thick clouds and in stormy weather, wait for clear skys should be the whole message of this. The storm took the plane out is what happen.
Nobody is mentioning the poor pilot.
It is very unfortunate, Has there been new safety technology added for this type of sport to keep track of where they are? Back then they should have had a set time limit without contact.
'If you pay attention to your gear it can be a very safe sport'. It can also cause you to fall out of the sky into the ocean while your friends die.
If they are skydiving over an area that is partially covered with ocean. You would think, that they would have some type of flotation device on their person, maybe some type of a tracking device, at least a high visibility vest.
They have sea snakes there too 😞😩
Tanya or jellyfish? Jellyfish, any day!
*Director:* "Your character is almost dead from thirst"
*Actor:* 44:42
“He’s still skydiving” at the ending ik all
My Afro folks heard that and said boii wtf 😭😭😭
They call that GODWOOD . Very strong & dependable 😇
How did he stay a float so long with those huge balls of steel
Balls of steel..?
Lol
Hi skydive before in fact, my first time I mean well, it was quite interesting, but has anybody else had a bad experience guide like mine went without a hitch
Tanya: (thinking to self) “Hmmm, should I find out where that plane went, or should I spend the next 6 hours having diarrhea in my toilet then dunking my face into it?” - her exact thought process
😂😂😂😂 Yeah she was useless.
Will was in the water for 10 min only and was in shallow waters behind a rock 😂
Never do anything with “Silly hat guy”…
Others: Why you don't train in the Gym and get muscles ? why don't you replace that Fat into Pure Muscles ?
Me: I need my belly to stay alive!
Mental toughness.
He just landed in the water 15 mins ago and he s already waiting for a shark to kill him quickly? Wth 😂
In the water 2 minutes:
Hungry, sharks? Come and get me! I want to be eaten! A-ha-ha-haaa!
5 minutes later:
Oh no, a log...swim for your LIFE!!
Tanya looks like Sandra Bullock. He keeps referring to himself as being in the middle of the ocean. I am sure that he felt that so, and rightfully so, but he was far from being in the middle of the ocean. Keeping a check with what is realistic, can be a crucial component with survival. It is awesome that he survived such a tragic event.
when you're stuck in the open water and have no guide to where you are, being realistic is asking quite a lot
She wishes 😂😂😂 She looks like a drunk old hag to me.
He was surrounded by ocean and couldn't see land, might as well be the middle of the ocean
The actor that played Tanya is very attractive.
😢😢😢
How MANY of these "ISBA" episodes involve small airplanes that literally get BLOWN straight out of the air!! Having never been on one I can't help but to acknowledge the absurdity of their use which seems primarily for.. pleasure. Outside of using them for 'straight line' travel they are obviously a huge safety pitfall.. 💀
6 hours man wth
And the pilot? Nobody cares about him?
🤔🤷🏻♀️
The best way to avoid a situation like this is to not put yourself in it. There ain't NO WAY IN HELL I'm going up in a plane and jump out of it. I dont hate myself that much.
Log saved his life.
I shouldn't be alive is always worth my RUclips time
What type of fools fly out into the ocean to skydive? He chose the long slow process when he tore out of the plane.
"That tree saved my life" you don't hear that too often. God was like "Do we have a log shaped like an alligator we can send his way?"
Something about Tanya is off... She not only chose to not take appropriate actions to report them missing which can only be for sinister reason, and she won't look you in the eye while she speaks.
I literally just said the same thing!! She's freaking useless. What's the point of having a safety check in if you don't automatically raise the alarm when the group is a no call no show? Her eyes are all glazed over in her interview too. Maybe she's a drunk and she actually got messed up and passed out when she was supposed to be waiting for them to call and didn't wake back up until that evening lol.
I would be thinking Jesus for sending me that log praise his holy name 🙏🙏🙏

Bro, good on him for still skydiving
I am adventurous person, but I am conservative and no way am I gonna do something that can kill me. So how did you get here, buddy? Playing tennis?
Oh my God Tanya just contacted us
My wife has given up on teaching me how to float. I just sink lol I'd be screwed in this situation
No one think about the pilot 😢
I feel like skydiving is a cheaters way to act like you are extreme without getting in shape without learning any skills. All you do is learn how to pack a parachute and jump out of something. It really doesn’t require much skill.
There is a ton of skill and development to be 0:04 learned and always learning more skill than most sports eh hmm
Yup and scubadiving. I do both. Your body does not really need to be in shape. Just your brains.
@@yghiozzi I would love to go spear fishing. Or do some gold mining.
@@michaelpausch3494 i wrestled for 6 years im not saying sky diving has nothing to learn. the guys that fly are crazy but let’s face it anyone can jump and pull a rope.
@@yghiozziwhat is your home DZ?
Where was the pilot the whole time 😭
I dont undertsand why he wouldent just attempt to swim back to the shore after letting go of the log, he could literally see the land. I kept screaming swim in my head. He must have literally been too exhausted to swim even a few meters
He wasn't a "few meters" from shore.. he wouldn't had to swim what appears to be miles. With an undercurrent working the opposite direction. He'd been treading water for 13 hours and the log saved his life.
Not only that but he DID ATTEMPT to leave the log 37:04 and after a short time went back to it. Then he left it AGAIN to try to get to land and he became so exhausted he started taking on sea water and nearly drowned.
How dare you question him? You don't understand why he wouldn't attempt to swim the shore? You're right. You don't understand. You have NO IDEA what it'd be like after almost 24 hours stranded in the ocean. And you have the audacity to question him? As soon as me left the log, he was taking on water so much that his kidneys were shutting down & he started hallucinating.
Yet here you are "why wouldn't he just try to swim to shore?" 🥴🙄 Seriously dude?
He couldn't see the land m sure...the actors were shooting near the shore😂.....😊
Too bad your friends did make it 😢😢😢
The way this is told it's almost like the pilot was a bystander in the whole thing. It's the pilot's responsibility for the safety of the aircraft, not the passengers. What was he doing flying into all those clouds? Why? If you don't jump through clouds, why are you flying above them?
Is it really a sport? Honestly? I mean, maybe if the guys did something on the way down? Other than just fall?
