On my calculator it gives the options of “Left, Center, Right” under “Tail” when using the InvNorm distribution, how would u know when to change it from Left to right or to center ?
If you are finding x-values use left if it says less than, fewer than, bottom, etc., use right if it says greater than, more than, top, etc., and use center if it says between. Later when you get to confidence intervals, use center to find the critical values. When you get to hypothesis testing, you would use left for less than, center for not equal to, and right for greater than.
Math and Stats Help is there a way to find the mean/expected value & variance in a “shortcut” for trying to find uniform probability distribution or do you have to use the formulas “a+b/2 & (b-a)^2 / 12 “
this person is very good with a mouse!
ty for this !! helping me save so much time

how do i find the z score with only the area and no upper or lower to plug into my ti 84
You have to use inverse norm and not normal CDF. ruclips.net/video/p4T-qATgWEI/видео.html
This helped a lot! Thank you!
