Lil Woody Gets Irked by Questioning, Says He Has a Headache in Young Thug RICO Trial

- Monday marked the 88th day of the Young Thug trial, where witness Lil Woody, real name Kenneth Copeland, continued to take the stand after previously attempting to plead the Fifth the week before. During his testimony on Monday, he appeared irritated and gave the state a hard time by not providing clear or straightforward answers. Copeland later threatened to plead the Fifth again and mentioned he had a headache.

Young Thug faces nearly a dozen charges, including possession of drugs and weapons, participation in criminal street gang activity, and conspiracy to violate Georgia’s RICO Act. The rapper was arrested in May of 2022 along with 27 other alleged gang members. Many of those defendants have taken plea deals in the case.

I empathize with the female St. Attorney & Woody. Following the leaked interview with the detectives, it's no surprise Woody became a "hostile witness." The female prosecutor is caught in the crossfire and is collateral damage. She was pressured and applied pressure on Woody. People overlooking the defendant and the deceased loved ones inside the courtroom, too. I see both sides of the coin.🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

I haven’t been following this trial but with all the judge shenanigans everyone is reporting, why on earth is it even happening? The Judge is a stain on the judicial system. Glad it’s being streamed so there’s transparency in our legal system.
